I dont mind if its a small cheap hotel as long as it is clean and maintained. When we arrived, apparently somebody has occupied the originally booked room so we were placed in another. We were glad to know that we could check-in early but we did not know that this would move our check-out time too. We were charged an extra 200 pesos for an extra hour The floor, cabinets were dirty. There were candies and unused condoms left by the previous occupant. Cabinets had gift wrap as protector. Definitely out of style. Curtain was left partially open because of lack of curtain pins. There was no shower curtain as well so everything was wet after a shower. They had the basics like towels, tissue, shampoo and soap. They had a dipper and pail. Shower was not user friendly. There were so many handles, we didn't know how to open it at first. The water flow was even erratic (sometimes too strong and sometimes weak stream). The bathroom window was just covered by a calendar. There was only 1 socket available for charging and was located behind the end table. However, when we moved the table, there was so much dust, it was obvious that hidden parts of the room weren't cleaned for a long time. Even a staff member accidentally entered the room. I think she was about to use the room's toilet because she wanted to pee only to realize it was occupied. You can't choose your breakfast. They give you what they have. Cereals and coffee are available without limit. The staff were friendly but the quality of their work needs improvement.

We stayed 3 night in May 2017. We were really happy with the area as it's close to the attractions we wanted to visit such as the Intermuros and Robinson mall which were all a walking distance. There were restaurants in easy walking distance as well. The hotel is clean and staff friendly. The room was small but all we needed.... it would be best if there was a jug for a cuppa. The room was not serviced during our stay which I thought odd. I put the towels and rubbish out the door one day and they were removed but not replaced so I had to ask for more (no, not more rubbish!!!!). Breakfast was very good with juice, tea, coffee and 22 cereals to choose from then a plate was served with beans, sausage, egg and half toasted bread. The airport was a 200PH ride away!

This is a hotel with only a few rooms. It looks like new. Our room is on the first floor. I think there are no more floors, but there is even an elevator. The room is very nice and we don't miss that there is no fridge in the room. The room is kept very clean. The breakfast which is served, is simple but good and is always served with a smile. Also the staff at the reception greets us always very friendly.Malate Church and Manila baywalk are close to the hotel. We stayed here 6 days and we certainly would stay here again, if we came back in Malate.
