My friend and I checked in at the hotel last January18. Apparently, there was an event of a known person at the roof top. We were sitting at the lounge area, when one girl told us that I can’t take pictures of these known people or celebrities! Seriously?! They are public people in a public place, of course people will notice and take pictures of them! I could understand if they have rented the whole hotel, but I also paid to use the hotel amenities. We felt discrimated because of that! Actually the receptionist was nice enough to offer us a late check in at 2pm the next day, because we are not allowed to use the rooftop swimming pool, because of the said event. But at 12 noon, while my friend was still sleeping, they called our room and informed him that he already needs to check out. I was out that time, but if I was there I would have make a scene! Too much already! When I came back later at the afternoon to get our car, I complained to the receptionist about the supposed late check out as she promised, but her excuse was that they have made a mistake. Talking about offering me something that they can’t give anyway. Very poor service! We saw a known person, who was at the party, checking out that time. I’m pretty sure he didn’t get a call to check out at 12 noon just like us, because he was checking out at around 2pm. Just another incident of discrimation!!! We had high expections for this hotel, but we were very disappointed!!!…
Their food both in cafe and inhouse will always be memorable to me. The lobby is so spacious and great if you want to catch up with work or literary pieces. Swimming pool area is great in the morning. And the staff too, they are so helpful and pleasing.
Excellent service provided by the lounge team. The went the extra mile by organizing last minute booking excursion request. Been extremely friendly and ready to serve food and drinks. We felt at home away from home. Many thanks to all of you!
I stayed in a suite. The room was incredibly comfortable and the perfect size. The room is beautiful. You’ll love it. I did nearly freeze to death in the room. And the smell of car exhaust somehow finds its way into the room at times. But still loved the room. Some of the staff, unfortunately, came across as incredibly snobby which cheapened the hotel for me.
While the hotel is quite beautiful and room is spacious and neat, our stay wasn’t very pleasant. The staff isn’t helpful at all and extremely incompetent and slow. Simplest requests and queries led to long delays. Food and breakfast spread was average.
We stayed here for our last 3 nights of holiday in Philippines. They were in the soft opening stage and they are doing a fantastic job here. We’re Accor platinum members and we enjoyed a really beautiful welcome from the team on arrival and throughout our whole stay. Special thanks to Lizelle and the whole guest experience team there. The hotel is really modern and we stayed in a suite room which was beautifully decorated with so many boutique touches. The food quality is very good. We enjoyed 3 delicious breakfast buffets and we normally don’t eat dinner buffets but had this one each night of our stay. The selections were great with so many things to choose from. We enjoyed finishing with the ice cream buffet each night. You can really see how well this hotel is being managed through their daily Morning meetings, the visible management inspections and coaching that is constantly happening all the time. This was great to see because you could also see how it translated to our wonderful stay there. We also had two couples massages and can highly recommend the spa here. The team are lovely and really made us feel so relaxed. For people using the lounge area given it’s still early stages this happens in a separated lobby area which is a nice space and you can bring your children unlike at the Sofitel which doesn’t allow kids at all in their club. The service here is so much better than the Sofitel as well that I’d highly recommend if you want high quality personal service / rooms and food as well as great staff, this is the place to be. Thanks to the whole team for some lovely memories.…
When we visited, the hotel was still undergoing refurbishment, so updating was ongoing and the spa was still closed. Having said that, we felt the sophistication that they were aiming for. We also liked the historical touch such as pages of manuscript hanging from the ceiling, signatures of heroes posted on the wall, and rooms named after heroes. Our room was facing the atrium so we did not get to enjoy the famous Manila Bay sunset. Food was good and servers were friendly and accommodating. The pool was small, but the view was fantastic. There we got to enjoy the Manila Bay sunset and views
The hotel is new and very modern in design. It's clean and conveniently located. Because it's new there is a need for better coordination with the staff. Several of the employees speak and understand English but some don't. Steffy in the dining room is excellent and efficient. She is a leader for certain and a keeper. We had good experiences with Reymond, Lizel, Nina and Bien at the front desk. The young lady that works the lounge has an incredible command of English. The food is good, but I did run into some questionable attitude with the chefs. Tiger Prawns were on the menu and when arrived they were like Popcorn Shrimp. The chef came to explain the situation, but his French attitude wasn't appreciated. Snapper is listed on the menu as the fish in the fish and chips and when I questioned it, it turns out to be pollack. I didn't like seeing the pig head on the buffet. Perhaps more sensitivity should be employed. I think there are too many dogs allowed. They advertise "pet Friendly," but it's overboard. Again, the rooms are quite nice, and the ambiance is exceptional. It needs tweaking.…
Indeed a best hotel staycation. The vibe is relaxing, plus they have approachable and friendly staffs (Hello to Coach Arvin and Sir Louie) well pampered with the amenities, and the food is so delicious!! This hotel is worth recommending. 💯💯💯
Hotel is clean, staff very friendly. Check-in by Raymond was smooth and pleasant. Friendly staff in other areas as well, including the reception, thank you Nina! Was assisted by Mr. Arvin in the gym --thank you coach! Hotel is in a good location, near malls. Looking forward to staying again. God bless you all!
