Room is quite small but beds are comfy and the room is clean. It is right in Chinatown and location is great! Great value for money in a large city. It's right within the market and within walking distance to most of the attractions.

Giving it a 1 purely because I cant give a zero and because it's location. It's apparent your management skills lack far beneath a 1 star. You cancelled our booking claiming we didn't turn up even though we had already stayed our first night, it's quite apparent that's due to you not wanting us to give a review on how bad of a stay we had in less than 24hours we had to move rooms TWICE due to the disgusting amount of bed bugs even your receptionist was disgusted. Not only did you try to avoid talking to us you've avoiding resolving the situation through booking forum and still happily took our money. Don't run a business if you cant hack bad situations caused by yourselves and the filthy rooms. You had a room which hadn't been cleaned nor stayed in for over a week and half and thought it was acceptable to put us in there which was filled with bugs. You seem pretty content on keeping money and not keeping customers aswell as not bothering to just grow up and sort out any sort of situation, it's disgusting how badly you've avoiding every means to not sort it and should be ashamed you're putting people through it. To other travellers avoid this hotel at all cost!!

From Melaka, we want to spend the rest of our 3 days stay in Kuala Lumpur specially in the area of China Town which I found to be the center of everything I need and easy access to transportation. I searched online and based my decision on the pictures of the hotel which lead me to pick Amigo Hotel. Probably I expect too much from the hotel in exchange for the price I paid for. Stairs going to receiving/reception is narrow. Distance to shower area from the bed is just a few steps. Noise outside can be heard from the inside. It didn’t take us long for us to transfer to another hotel even if we already paid 3 days stay. There are though nice things about this hotel - location is great and the one-woman staff is very helpful.

This hotel offers different quality of rooms so be careful when booking! We had a family room with 2+1 beds, just to get something more spacious and with windows. The location is great, in the middle of Chinatown, close to the end of the Petaling street towards Jalan Sultan, entrance is just near the KK supermart shop´s (it can be difficult to find in the evening, when the stalls cover the street completely). 7/24 reception is very comfortable to check in and out if you arrive late in the night. They take 50 ringgits deposit for the key, and the tourist tax so be prepared with cash at the check-in time. The tap water is not good to drink in Malaysia, the hotel has a free hot/cold water dispenser with cleaned water, or you can get whatever soft drinks you fancy from the shop next door easily. Petaling street offers huge range of restaurants, food courts, cafes, etc., many cuisines, so it´s easy and cheap to find breakfast nearby, also in the evening the surrounding streets transform to a big outdoor selection of street food. And the fruits...don´t miss to try the durian! It´s forbidden to take in to the hotel, but you can eat it on the street at plastic tables with disposable gloves on...:-) The public transport possibilities are excellent as well, Pasar Seni MRT station is 5 minutes walk, also the taxi stands. The room was ok, the AC is noisy, the bathroom was a little bit worn, and every time we had a shower the water covered the floor completely... We started our holidays with 3 days in KL, so with the jetlag + time zone-difference it was difficult to fall asleep anyway - but we have to say this street is very noisy because the busy market opens until late night, and about 2 am they do the cleaning the street/emptying the rubbish bins, and the work also starts early with shops open at 6 am so it didn´t help to have a nice rest. Be prepared with earplugs and it´s a great place to stay!

We stayed in the family room which was on the 6th floor and fairly spacious with lots of windows. The booking websites do specify that some rooms have windows and some don't and this will affect the cost but I think it's worth paying extra for some natural light. Room was clean and looked like bathroom area was fairly new. Helpful staff always on duty and main door on to street is secured at night. There was some building work going on next door while we were there but couldn't hear it on our floor. There is also noise from the covered street market below but fairly muffled up on 6th floor. There is also a flea market at the weekend though that appears to start at end of this street and go round the corner and we did get noise at 5am from a sound system that someone was probably trying to sell!! All in all a decent room for the cost right in the middle of the chinatown area and fine for a couple of nights.

Small rooms without windows! A very rood stuff. Hotel is located inside of the China town so it is very noisy until late and from early morning. After one terrible night I wanted to cancel my second night lady who was in charge of bookings wanted to call police to solve this issue! At the and she let me leave the hotel...

The only advantage of this hotel is its good location . It's situated within Chinatown If one wants to go shopping , so it's easily accessible and there is Pasar Seni MRT station which goes to most places in Kl . However, Safety doesn't seem to be good in Chinatown area ! Especially in the evening and after midnight . Overmore , cleanness isn't satisfying . The room was smelly! Also the area , which the hotel is surrounded by , was disgusting! Overall, it was an unpleasant stay . I don't recommend it If one wants to stay more than one night , since much better hotels can be found in better places with nearly the same price .
