I found a place for weekend retreat near to Kuala Lumpur. And please use Google maps to come here. I used Waze and the route is dirt and lead me to middle of nowhere 😁. There are a few chalet with affordable price and the chalet is cosy enough for me to sleep in. The place is secluded and surrounded by forest. Its so peaceful and a nice place to enjoy nature and also for a weekend retreat.

This place is not far from the city about a 40-minute drive from KL. The place is not perfect but every nature lover will fall in love with this place. The basic amenities could be improved, otherwise can't complain.

While the rooms and condition of the toilet (we stayed in the Gecko House) could be improved, the area itself is fantastic. Spent the whole night at the spacious gazebo. Bring a mat because there is plenty of space to lie down on the green grass. As mentioned in the title, it is NOT that much of a big place, but the elevation give the sensation of the place being huge. Hence, it is spacious and compact at the same time. There is also a kitchen and a small study room, including fridge and rice cooker, where backpackers or travellers could leave their books or paintings behind (Haris is a good painter). If you just want a quiet place to get away from the city, then this is the place for you. Now, the ‘buts’: The conditions of the road to this location is terrible. Better to stock up on food/ drinks before night falls. Also, lack of wind and fans make a man sweaty. Also, massive construction next door, so it may or may not spoil the views of the occupants. Regardless, nice place with elevation.

my friends and i go there for a 2d1n vacation, at the night, the people in charge keep asking us for giving him some beer. we notice that the all 3 doors of our "house" are totally cannot lock. the people in charge keeps annoying our female friends when we having BBQ outside, so all the girls can only stay in the house as he still not dare to get into the house. there are two roads can get into the village, one of it was terrible, the others? even worse...

Was following a signboard and end up reaching Bamboo Village. There is only muddy and gravel road just to suit the village name. Slow driving as we didn't use 4wd. The village have few types of bamboo house for people to experience staying in the jungles.
