While the hotel name doesn’t exactly roll of your tongue, this is a great apartment-style hotel located about 10 minutes walk from Osaka Station. It’s on Google Maps and is very easy to find.

It is also nearly the only place in Kyoto where rooftop dining and socializing is available, completing its modern tone.

I believe the kitchen set is complete with everything you would need to cook a simple meal. I ate all my meals out. I'm sure they would be able to store your luggage for a few hours. I found the staff there very friendly.
