The room was clean and very nice. There are plenty of shops and restaurants very near. The only issue was that there is only one elevator which broke down. The shower was particularly nice.

There are two Tea Hotels in Hangzhou. I stayed at the Yugu Rd location.
I love it. My room had its own large private balcony and was very large. It was well appointed. I loved the free tea and spring water.

It's really hard to review this hotel as it doesn't fit any normal criteria.
We accept that as a mature couple we aren't the hotels target market so may be it's just not for us

Please note there are two tea hotels in Hangzhou. The one on Yugu Rd is highly recommended as a comfortable, clean hotel. Nearby eateries are fabulous. You can hire a bike ato go to the Park and also bike to subway to go to City...More

Typically in China, if you are not in a persons line of sight his problem (your request for an email) goes away, or is no longer his concern. With education over time this aspect might be corrected but for now it has permeated right throughout service positions and applies equally when you visit Government offices.
