we stayed at the Hilton Tianhe in Guangzhou for one night and the service was amazing.
Nicole from front office was around to ensure that nothing went wrong, and kimi at front-desk was very warm and friendly. The check-in also didn't take long. this gave us the feeling of being valued as guests.
We were also given an extremely early check-in at 11am, and the 23rd story (the building has a total of 24 stories), and a nice birthday cake as an amenity.
The price is reasonable and it is located a short walk away from the mrt (we used exit B2).
Based on the hotel's TV information, a shuttle bus might be available, so do email them to ask.
Overall, a great hotel to stay in the tianhe area.

I loved my recent four-night stay at the Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe Hotel. From the professional and courteous check-in to the efficient and friendly check-out, my experience was overwhelmingly positive. The hotel is located in the central business district within a short walk of two metro stations and a large shopping mall (Po Park). My double room was spacious and well equipped with multi-channel TV, good wifi, minibar, tea/coffee facilities, in-room safe, etc. There was a large work desk and the bed was super-comfortable. I had the best sleep I"be ever had in a hotel. The bathroom was also spacious with a large bathtub, separate shower and good quality toiletries. The breakfast buffet is extensive and varied with something to suit all tastes. Room service was the only thing that was mixed - nice club sandwich and sweet and sour pork but inedible chicken wings and braised beef noodle soup that just tasted of beef fat. All staff were very customer service-oriented and spoke good English. Overall, my stay was excellent. I would happily recommend the hotel to others and I look forward to my next stay.

Wife and I have stayed here in past years while visiting her family and this time, we stayed here for 10 nights. Hotel is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk from Wanda mall, which has many restaurants and stores. Rooms were nice, although a few nights, we did smell cigarette smoke in the room coming from the A/C. We've experienced this in other hotels in China, though it's getting better in recent years. There was a separate filter/dehumidifier machine in the room. Room was quiet with the exception of a few nights when we had a family with rambunctious kids next door. Breakfast was good with many local and Western foods. There is an egg and noodle station where they make food to order. The highlight of our stay was Joey and her partner at the breakfast restaurant. They cheerfully greeted us every morning and made us feel special every morning. We will be staying here when we return to Guangzhou in the next year or so.

The hotel breakfast is terrible. Food quality and taste are of low standard. During peak hours are extremely crowded. Not enough plates and utensils available. Restaurant accept too many guest and let in anyone without checking. Some guest are seen waiting and standing around tables. Some guest even seen eating standing around without table & seats. The whole place look like a street dining experience.

Had a business trip in Guangzhou at June 26th to 29th I got excellent service from front desk and rest of the Team. Hotel located middle of the Tianhe which is transportation is very easy, I booked higher floor room wanted to use Executive lounge which located at 24th floor very nicely set up and I could have couple of meeting which is very relaxing, not noisy at all compare with others. Breakfast, Tea, time ne happy hour was great a specially team always want to do more which makes me happy. Had one dinner in Italian restaurant food, environment was very nice fine dining, menu was good they have alacart menu and set menu with selective wine tasty and very reasonable, I specially love the pizza with truffle mushroom very tasty. Hotel has very big fitness ,spa and pool all of them at 6th floor fitness was great to work out, pool has sun shine almost all days and very clean and tidy. I didn’t have chance to use Spa but next visit I will do during canton fair period. Over all had a very good experience.

I am not sure about transepttation. However they were very helpful in getting me transportation and private drivers and guides as well as taxis that were cheap to get around the city
