We payed about 10000 rubles for 2 nights AND THIS IS WHAT WE GOT: -Room in the basement (no other options) -The room didn’t match with the picture on the website -Room was way too small, they put mirrors to make it look bigger, but it’s really not enough for 2 ppl. -In general the room and the bathroom were clean, but there were some yellow and black spots on the wall (look pic) -The sink was clogged -I couldn’t open the window -We couldn’t enter the room when we came back from walking (They didn’t clean it up) -They didn’t clean up the room when we left so we had to ask them and give them some time to clean it up. (That made us really mad) -When they did cleaning they didn’t change the linens -When we had to check out, cleaning lady just entered the room without knocking or calling in advance (yes, I was naked) -There weren’t many breakfast options for vegetarians -Chemical smell near the elevator -1F Pluses - calm street, not far from the center …
Very comfortable hotel, stayed in a double room which was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom with powerful shower, drinking water is provided from dispensers in the corridor, breakfast was substantial and plenty of it, free WiFi as well.
Absolutely stunning the rooms are great the staff amazing great food and drinks and in a very central location a very relaxing warm comfortable place to stay , there is a lot of history with this place staying here you won’t be disappointed
We had to stay in this hotel twice on a booked tour. The first time they put us in a room on the first floor that looked like a servant's quarters. It was dark, dingy and horrible, with a window looking straight at a playground. The second stay was slightly better, but after using the shower, water flooded the bathroom. Others staying at the hotel reported the same. The staff were mostly clueless young people that were learning their jobs unsupervised and weren't very helpful at all. We also tried to use the foyer for a meeting and some random guy passed out on the couch and began snoring. The only thing that was nice was the restaurant. From the outside you would mistake this as a classy hotel. It is not.
Stayed while on an organised trip. Hotel is well situated about 15 mins to Red Square and the Kremlin. Room was clean and comfortable just lacking tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast had a reasonable selection of hot and cold food.
