If you have a conference at the Expo Centre, stay at Novotel - easy 5 min walk. Next to a big mall and located in the business centre of Moscow. Spacious rooms, choose city view - a must, otherwise the other side you are closed-in and look direct into offices. Not much staff, but somehow it works - reception very friendly. On my last day, two reception ladies knew that I still had to wait an hour for my taxi - that I ordered through the hotel to DMO airport (1 hour by bmw 5 series - 4000 rubles) and they offered me out of nothing a drink on the house. Small gesture, but amazing last impression!! Metro opposite the hotel, takes you around 40 min to reach Red Square - only 57 rubles per way, very convenient. 3rd floor they have tiny gym, it is ok, not great - but good sauna and steam. Improvement? Maybe availability of English Newspaper? Thank you team for a nice stay in Moscow. …

It is rare that a property can live up to such high expectations you have from the moment after booking all the way throughout the end of the stay. It's very difficult to find anything original to say about this wonderful, wonderful hotel other than that it is probably one of the the best hotel in the world. Every single aspect of our stay here was simply flawless. Every single contact we had with every single member of staff was nothing short of charming and professional. Dining was totally world class and our suite was breathtakingly beautiful. hotel location and accomodation was really good. whilst did not have meals, the standard of cleaning and service was up there with the best I have experienced. Moscow itself is a great city, the Red Square was simply beautfiul and some of the historic metro stations are worth the trip in itself.. The mayor has banned advertising on the walls, which makes for a more authentic look.

Moscow city is only twenty plus years old with a subterranean mall beneath it. The hotel sits on top of it. Walk to Red square. The beds are not the greatest but passable. Service very good and hotel food and bar average. I’d recommend it for the price.

I have been in thi shotel so many times. It is just comfortable for us to stay there, as it is in walking distance to the Expo Center. The rooms are since years over heated, but this is a standard problem in Russia. As they have enough gas, the rooms will be heated as much as tehy can. The other topic is that the bedding and the bed linnen are synthetic. This is not nice at all. I decided to sleep without it. This is a reason to change the hotel next year.
