Room Category: Superior Room (Room 1901) Hotel Status: Hilton Honours Gold Member See my profile page for my video tour of this hotel. Overview I have always admired the architecture of Moscow’s Seven Sisters. These seven skyscrapers, in Stalin neoclassical style, continue to dominate Moscow’s skyline. Of the seven skyscrapers, two function as hotels – Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya and Radisson Collection Hotel Ukraina. I have always admired these buildings and have placed it my bucket list to stay in, and experience, these hotels. Room As a Hilton Honours Gold member, my room was upgraded to a King Executive Room which I was very pleased about. Even more so, I was allocated a room on the highest usable floor – the 19th floor. I have indicated when I booked a request to be placed on a high floor and I was impressed by how my preference was accommodated. Upon reaching the 19th floor, you will pass through an elegant hallway panelled with dark cherry wood. This harks back to dark and old wood luxury. The room itself was bright and spacious. There are three large windows which provide excellent views across Moscow. We also have a great view of the Red Gates Building (another Seven Sister skyscraper which now houses apartments and office spaces). The views are certainly impressive and the highlight of the room. The bath is also large with separate bathtub and shower areas. As standard for Hilton hotels, the toiletries are from Crabtree and Evelyn. The colour scheme and furnishings may be a bit dated; however, I think it blends well with the building’s aesthetic. I noticed that there were no bed runners or decorative pillows and I am glad that Hilton Moscow is following protocols and best practice guidelines to minimise the risk of Covid (I also note that masks are mandatory in public spaces (which are provided free by the hotel) and hand sanitisers abound aplenty in the hotel’s common areas). Facilities Unfortunately, the Executive Lounge was not open, presumably because of limited occupancy rates brought about by Covid. However, we were given complementary dinner at the lobby bar (which serves food and refreshments throughout the day). Dining under the lobby’s chandeliers was a great experience. Janus Restaurant is the hotel’s main restaurant and offers buffet breakfast. The breakfast spread was excellent with cold cuts and usual hot breakfast items. The restaurant hall resembles that of a tavern albeit with higher ceilings and giant chandeliers. The basement of the hotel hosts a beauty salon, the fitness centre and the swimming pool. While the pool is a bit basic, it is perfectly fine. There is also a jacuzzi and a sauna. Perhaps, my only criticism would be that the changing area definitely needs some improvements. It looks tired and looking more like a school locker room (with old fashioned keys instead of automated lockers). The fitness centre is small but adequate. There is also a beauty salon offering a range of treatments. I had a relaxing massage and the prices are reasonable if not cheap as compared to other places in Moscow. Service The service is excellent. Garegin of the concierge team checked me in. He was professional and friendly and has an excellent command of English. The staff at the lobby bar, the Janus restaurant and the fitness centre were also impeccable. I would also like to thank Fedorin Konstantin – the duty manager who left us a basket of fruits and wine and a note to welcome me as a Hilton Gold Member. I would totally recommend Hilton Moscow to anyone visiting Moscow.

I really like design of this hotel despite the fact that it seems so old. Ambiance of the hotel may feel yourself in 90s. However, location of the hotel, provided services are up to high standards. Rooms on high floor have a nice view. Selection in breakfast is also wide with huge choice of cold snacks, fish, pastries etc.

I decided to stay in this hotel (March 2020) for the positive reviews and the beauty of the hotel in general. The location of the hotel is quite close to the main square, just a few train stops. I had to give 3 stars despite the beauty of the hotel and the attention of the reception team because the spa let me down, the massage was VERY disappointing first of all because no one mentioned that the therapist was going to be a male, I have just found out while I was in the massage room, and the guy masseur it was not professional at all, and I didn't like the arrogance of the manager or the lady who took the charge to talk to me about my complaints (who by the way doesn't speak english). It was very disappointing and next time I will definitely choose another Hilton in Moscow and that's a shame because the rest of the Hotel Staff was brilliant and for me this was the top Hotel in Moscow.

I was expecting a 5 star hotel that felt more 4 stars because it was much cheaper than the other ones. It was actually excellent, in an amazing building, very kind service and really really good. The public areas are beautiful. My room was big and the bed, linens and pillow very very good. Only let down in the room was the WC getting a bit old and specially the wifi working very badly (I was in a room at the very end of the corridor). Breakfast was very good with an excellent staff always helping. The hotel is a bit far from the center but you can get a cab with a local APP for around 3€, that more than compensates for paying a lower cost. Will be back, excellent hotel.

This hotel is very impressive the lobby and public areas are very grand indeed and look fantastic. Booking in was very good great staff very helpful. The room was very nice with triple glazing so very quite, the room itself had everything that was needed and you couldn’t hear anything at all which is refreshing. It's such a shame the breakfast service lets it all down... We had breakfast 2 days running and neither day was particularly good. On day one we arrived to be seated marked off the the sheet and told to find a seat.. Well I don't think the room could hold even 1/2 the hotels guests it was very small and therefore we and about 5 other couples were left to try and find tables in a room that was full! eventually we were led to a side room where they hastily laid some tables to seat the overflow.. Day one my wife ordered an omelette this took over 30 minutes to arrive! (it was very nice but too long to wait in a 5 star hotel) The cooked breakfast was fine except the area where the food is served is so small its difficult to get into with the number of people getting breakfast so not overly impressed.. Day two managed to find a table in the main room result! didn't bother with the omelette! went to get the cooked breakfast and hash browns had all gone asked if they could bring some more and was told in a minute... 20 minutes later they arrived (at the table which was great) only problem I'd already eaten most of my breakfast so a bit late sadly! again we noticed people wandering around looking for tables because the room was full again (situation where you leave hats glasses and anything else to make sure no one else takes your table!) I can't believe that a hotel of this class and size doesn't know how many people they may have for breakfast and wait until there is an over spill to lay additional tables in another room? Its a shame because every other aspect of the hotel is great
