This hotel has been open for almost a decade and is at the former airport that has become a Megaworld development.

The check-in lady was friendly. Three lifts meant we never had to wait long.

The King bed was a little firm for my liking but we slept well. A choice of pillows complemented a doona/duvet and good quality linen.

A portable suicase shelf, good bedside tables with adequate lighting and an armchair with a round, heavy glass table were in the room.

I did not like the glass desk as it jutted out from the wall beyond a wooden shelf. A safety risk.

Aircon worked very well as did WiFi. The curtains blocked most light.

Tea and coffee were provided. The wardrobe had a safety deposit box plus an ironing board and iron.

The spacious bathroom had an excellent rainshower. The glass door reached to the ceiling meaning that the bathroom mirror did not fog up. Excellent design!

There was a hairdryer. Shampoo and body wash in the shower were in refillable bottles. Towels were not bath size but OK.

The TV had a terrific number of local and international channels plus a good selection of HBO movies.

The seventh floor 1.6 metre deep pool was good but it was windy when I swam. Pool towels were not distinctive.

The buffet breakfast was excellent with mango yoghurt, an egg and omelette cooking station, a good variety of pastries and lovely chorizo sausages and bacon plus calamansi juice among the offerings.

A SaveMore supermarket was in the Festive Walk Mall 300 metres away as were many restaurants.

Overall a great stay.

I chose this place as I had to attend an affair at the convention center across the street. It's just across from the Festive Walk mall and the area has not much traffic or noise.

Check in was a breeze. Room was adequate, bathroom had good water pressure and AC had a satisfactory temp control. There was an empty mini-ref, coffee maker and in-room safe. Bed and pillows were all comfy.

Buffet breakfast had a good spread with terrific brewed coffee and hot choco. What needs improvement are your bathroom towels (they need more fabric softener) and your carpets--they're tattered, worn out and need to be replaced.

We stayed here this week for a short 2 day trip to Iloilo to visit friends. We found everyone to be extremely welcoming and friendly across all areas of the hotel. From the moment we got out of our taxi, we were extended a warm welcome at the driveway by Security, Front Desk, and Guest Services. It was a long journey coming from Boracay via land transfer, and it was the best feeling in the world to be assisted with luggage and presented with a smile by Rikka at the Front Desk. A shoutout as well to Renzo from Concierge who helped us with our enquiries about laundry service.

Our suite was located on the 11th floor, and the view of Iloilo city was spectacular. It was always a joy to wake up to beautiful scenery. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was the most spacious out of all the hotels were stayed in the Philippines. The bathtub was calling our names as soon as we stepped into the bathroom.

Shortly after we checked in, we received a beautiful set up of local delicacies - courtesy of Ms. Natalie Lim (General Manager) and Mr. Ariel Castañeda (Executive Chef); what a treat! The Inasal Empanyadas, Ube Macarons, and Cheese Ensaymadas were the highlights amongst all the other delicious snacks. I must emphasize how much cheese was served on the ensaymada (and I'm not complaining at all!). Reynand from Room Service did a great job at explaining all the local ingredients used; which made us even hungrier!

The hotel is located in the heart of Iloilo City, and it within a 2 mins walking distance of Festive Walk Mall, and the Iloilo Convention Centre. There's plenty of amenities nearby, including Starbucks, 7-Eleven, Jollibee and Mcdonalds. The city itself is full local eateries, and we could not fit all of them into a 2-day itinerary.

To Natalie: Maraming, maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat. Thank you for spoiling me and my partner during our visit to Iloilo. This is truly the best hotel in Iloilo, and the level of staff service is certainly the benchmark in the city. I can't wait to come back again in the near future and have another cheese ensaymada!

This hotel was definitely not a 4 star experience. Our week long stay to begin with, upon arrival we had to ask the security guard to help us offload our luggage and the bell staff came after realizing we were there. The unprofessionalism and attitude of the front desk staff. I seriously recommend that they be trained or retrained to know what a quality standard of service is no matter who you are, all paying guests should have the same quality of service. The food and restaurant service was mediocre and the restaurant staff were unattentive and to busy chit chatting with each other to pay attention to the guests. We were guided to a table at The Granary for breakfast and shortly got up to grab food from the buffet. Upon returning to our table, they had sat another guest at our table and we were left there standing with our plates in hand and all they said was "sorry you can sit at another table".
The age of the hotel itself is showing, rooms are outdated from the dirty carpets and state of the bathrooms and dirty.

The TV only had basic channels and no hotel menu or guest options. Even the amenities typically provided were not complete. The climate controls for the room were outdated as well, given that they were functioning and dryer softener sheets were shoved into the return air grill. Room service was unable to be charged to our room and we had to pay in cash on delivery. The room walls are thin as well, You can literally hear people in the next rooms over. Prior to this stay we were in Pampanga for 2 weeks and stayed at Park Inn Clark and had an all around 5 out of 5 experience with them. We were extremely disappointed about our stay at Richmonde and would not come back!

We are saddened to know that your impression of the hotel has been marred by certain incidents which we assure you are not the hotel’s standard. Our staff have always been known for their warm hospitality, efficient service, and thoughtfulness; thus, we deeply regret if there were associates who were unable to provide immediate assistance upon your arrival and were inattentive to your needs at breakfast. The error of our staff at The Granary when they seated another guest at your table is truly regrettable and is an oversight that could have been avoided. Again, we would like to extend our deepest apologies for this slip-up. Please be informed that we have reiterated to all our front-of-the-house staff the importance of consistency in extending remarkable service to all guests at all times. Moreover, we investigated our Housekeeping team regarding the dirty carpet, tattered towels, flickering lights, and unavailability of cable TV channels in your room which should have been addressed even before your arrival. We will be taking proper action to ensure that rooms are always kept spic and span and all amenities setup are of good quality and facilities in proper working condition. As for your Room Service orders that could not be charged to your room, this happens only when no deposit was made upon check-in. In such cases, cash or card payment must be settled upon delivery of food and beverage orders. We understand your frustration given the number of issues you experienced at the hotel. Our hotel may be getting older, but please know that we remain committed to delivering happy and satisfying moments to our guests with well-maintained facilities, value-for-money products, and delightful services. My family and I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 days and I must say we had such a satisfying experience during our stay. The room was clean and cozy. The pool was very well maintained and the staff especially Rikka is very accommodating and caters our requests in an efficient manner. But what makes this hotel superb was their food, all dishes in the buffet are packed with deliciousness that entices you to eat more. I highly recommend this hotel and the restaurant. Overall the room, food and staff was excellent!!!

They charge expensively for simple requests that other hotels would readily accommodate without fees (my PWD husband and I frequently travel so we know what we're saying). The staff and management don't have clear lines of communication which result to requests being requested over and over again. Bathrooms don't have exhausts (just a small vent), doors don't have doorstops (you have to anchor your foot in front of the door while you talk to staff outside your room), housekeeping staff don't clean as well as they should, still leaving a few strands of hair in the bathroom drain. They also do not have the usual retractable clothesline for wet swimwear. Lastly, laundry service charges you for per piece of clothing. Three-star hotels do a lot better than this one. Go to Seda instead.

Although we strive to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences, it seems that in your case we fell short. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconveniences you encountered during your stay. All areas of the hotel with steps have ramps for wheelchairs and we also have more spacious PWD-friendly rooms that allow for better mobility and accessibility. We would appreciate if you can give us the specific instances where you had difficulty as we would like to be able to address them. Our aim is to provide efficient service at all times, thus, we are truly sorry that you had to follow up on your requests. We will be reviewing our processes to make sure similar incidents do not happen again and requests are delivered promptly and correctly. Regarding the cleanliness issue in your room, please know that we have discussed this matter with our Housekeeper and reiterated the need to clean and inspect rooms and bathrooms thoroughly before guests’ use. Like other 4-star hotels, we charge laundry by the piece. This has been the practice in the industry for years, however, we are open to exploring other pricing schemes for laundry services should there be a demand from our guests. Although our bathrooms are not equipped with a clothesline, there is a dry spinner for wet clothes and swimwear at the Fitness Center which would dry your clothes faster. I prefer checking in at Richmonde Hotel Iloilo more than other hotels because of the service that they provide. You feel safe because you know that your room is always sanitized. You enjoy the facilities (gym, pool) because they are clean. The staff are really nice. Because of frequent travel, the front desk staff are so accommodating and nice to me. One specific staff at The Granary knows my coffee request. These are just some of the many reasons why I will always choose Richmonde Hotel Iloilo. They always welcome me back home whenever I am in Iloilo..☺️☺️☺️

I frequently travel for work and I always stay at Richmonde Hotel Iloilo whenever I go to Iloilo. Not only because of its location but also for the excellen service that they provide.

My recent stay there was very much different as I was almost worried that I will be locked down in Iloilo due to the ECQ declaration of the government. To add to this, Iloilo City also declared a hard lockdown. Fortunately, all outbound flights are allowed.

I had good time staying at Richmonde because they make you feel comfortable and safe. The Granary staff also remembered my room number, prolly because I stayed there for more than a week unlike other guests, and even knew my iced latte request every breakfast. The guards are also so polite and laught with me everytime I order take-out food from Food Panda or Grab Food. The room attendants always make my room clean and make me feel safe amidst this pandemic. Lastly, the front desk staff always help me with my requests.

I will definitely be back in Iloilo and for sure stay again at Richmonde. Hoping that this pandemic will soon ne over so that more guests can also enjoy the excellent service that you provide. Keep safe and see you after the ECQ! ☺️☺️☺️

Had a bit of an issue in terms of booking. I booked online, however internet was bad and I had a double booking. The reception was kind enough to cancel the extra booking.

Room is great. However, the blinds covering the shower room can be controlled outside the shower room. (near the bed) This can be awkward since the right for privacy is not given to the one in the shower room. It didn't pose a problem for us though since my buddy and I respected each other's privacy.

In terms of privacy, we had issues with noise as the guests in the next room can be heard. We were alarmed thinking that it is likely that we can be heard from their end as well since we had highly private conversations. Although our voices were moderate and at a reasonable volume, we can't avoid but be anxious on our conversations.

The food for breakfast was great. The staff were attentive to detail on what I ordered despite the volume of guests lining up for breakfast. Just a suggestion though, perhaps it would be prudent to serve utensils the moment guests settle on a table. Pre-set table has a high probability of exposure.

Overall, we had a satisfactory stay at the hotel. Kudos to all the staff. Looking forward to staying again under normal circumstances.

We regret that you were disturbed by the guests in the room next to yours. Unusually loud noises can sometimes be heard inside the guest rooms. Had we known about this we could have called the attention of these guests so they could tone down their noise. Nevertheless, you can be assured of your privacy while inside your room. terrible stay very loud for couples so many children and after being moved once the next room was the same so we checked out early. food and drink really overpriced quality not good tiny portions. no ice in room must order room service for even service water. staff did not know how to communicate and there was miscommunication every where we asked in hotel. menu stated wine bu glass available but when we tried to order they said they could only serve by bottle. my husband only wanted 1 glass of red and myself 1 glass of white so it may no sense. will never stay here againn . going back to marriott now that they have one in iloilo.

Dear Tonto_gid_ako, We deeply regret to hear that you decided to cut short your stay because of the inconveniences you encountered at the hotel. Please accept our sincerest apologies for these and for not being able to immediately resolve the issues you mentioned. Despite the soundproofing of our rooms, extremely loud sounds can still be heard. As a standard procedure, when guests become particularly disruptive, we call their attention and request them to tone down their noise in consideration of the other guests. We are sorry if we were not able to do this as an alternative to transferring you to a more peaceful area. All rooms are provided with bottled water which are replenished daily. Service water and ice, although not part of our standard set-up since not all guests need these, may be requested from Room Service at no extra charge. We regret if it seems inconvenient, however, delivering only upon request also assures guests that they get solid ice when they need it. We have always received positive feedback from guests on the taste, portioning, and presentation of our food and beverage offerings. Thus, we are very sorry that you thought otherwise. While our prices remain competitive among other 4-star hotels, these may be considered expensive when compared with stand-alone restaurants in the city. However, we do aim to provide an excellent dining experience overall and good value for money. There was an instance when we didn’t have stock of house wine, which could have prompted our staff to say that only wine by the bottle was available. He was not aware that there are other wine choices for guests such as yourself and your husband, who would just like to order by the glass. We have already given reminders to our bar and restaurant staff on how to properly handle similar situations so they do not mistakenly deny guests of their order preferences. Although you have decided not to return to the hotel, we hope that you will still give us the opportunity to serve you again and provide you with the comfortable, convenient, and delightful experience we aim to extend to all our guests. Wasn’t able to use it the pool. But with our country’s temperature on the rise due to summer, pool water will be warm.

Hi, Scott S! If ever early check-in cannot be accommodated because rooms are not yet available, the hotel can store your luggage while you go on your tour. :)

Hi, I was at a wedding recently and there was a function in the pool area. However it was not private, we were sharing the area with other guests of the hotel. If they aren't replying to emails give them a call. Hope that helps.
