Just got back .from a tour of Iloilo and Guimaras with 7 of my senior citizen aunts & uncles and 2 kids who usually stay in 3 or 4 star hotels. This is a no-frills hotel but the rooms (we got 4 standard rooms on the 3rd floor) are comfortable and service is superb. We arrived at the hotel at 6:30am and were immediately checked into our rooms. We were able to freshen up a bit and eat a 100pesos breakfast buffet at Deco's at the hotel's lobby before our 8AM Iloilo City Tour. Bottled water was also available in the rooms (1 bottle/person/day). Wi-Fi at the lobby and you'll have to pay a fee if you want to access the internet in your room. Shower Heater was not working in some of the rooms but room service worked on them as soon as the seniors complained. Front Desk, Lobby and Room service staff were very helpful with our requests. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk to Robinsons Place Iloilo. Enough seating at the lobby for our group of 10people.
Tip: 20% room discount for senior citizens and BPI card holders ;) we only paid Php1,080 for each standard room which sleeps 2 people. Kids are free!

I and my husband stayed in this hotel last June 29, 2013. This hotel has advance technology features in their doors by using card instead of traditional keys. The bathroom have modern fixtures also. Beddings are clean and crisp. At the lobby, a fast food restaurant serves batchoy and different breakfast meals & merienda at affordable prices. he hotel staff are accomodating and courteous.

Located close to the civic district, the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Well located for public transport of trisikel or cabs, it is also quiet at night. There is a large department store nearby, which wasn't open when we overnighted. The main touristy areas are a 10 peso trisikel ride away near the Esplanade, SM Mall and Plazuela. The only minus is no wifi - not even in the lobby, the hotel staff could jot get that to work at all. For dining facilities, better they get a good outside operator to run it.

I read the reviews on trip advisor and looked at pictures on opodo and could not see why this was a 1 star hotel.

We arrived in Iloilo the weekend of the Dinagyang Festival (think tribal Marci Gras). Everything was busy and roads were closed off but we finally made to the hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The bell boy showed us to the room and found the TV had lost signal. He got it fixed straight away. The room was large and spacious with a good sized king bed and had a bathroom with a hot shower. The hotel was in easy two to three block walk of the two nearest malls and of the carnival route.

The only things that let the hotel down was there was not tea and coffee making facilities and the ugly water heater on the wall in the bathroom. The room was at the from of the hotel (401) and directly above the reception area. It was next to the lift and noisy due to people in the hall and due to road traffic and revellers from the carnival. It was a lot quieter on the last day after the carnival but it may be an idea to ask for a room away from the lift and road.

The hotel was better than the 1 star rating it has but could do with a few small improvements.

I have been to this hotel for a day and the staffs were very good in welcoming and gave me a standard room which was nice to the price it was offered, the heater was not working and the aircons took a little bit longer to cool the room..it was really hot...
The breakfast they served at Deco's was good and the security guy was the best thing i noted as he was very helpful in shifting my bags from the taxi both during check in and out and he even bargained the taxi as I'm a foreigner..I'l definitely stay in this hotel on my next trip to Iloilo as my wife and baby is there.

Hotel is in close proximity to downtown. Although some of our colleagues suggested a more modern hotel in smallville, we have chosen to stick with our choice because of our good experience in 2012. We stayed for a night in a twin room for a reasonable price. The room was clean, and had all the necessary things you need in a hotel. The also offered a lot of choices for meals which was far from what they offered then. Overall, am satisfied with the location, and services of the hotel.

We stayed for one night as we were in town to extend our visas.
The hotel is very modern, lovely big, clean rooms with wifi, aircon and cable tv. We payed php1,350 which was expensive for us but worth it as the hotel is lovely and we wanted a little bit of luxury!
The location is very good, walking distance to malls and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment is the fast food restaurant downstairs but there are plenty of other places to eat within walking distance.
Overall I would highly reccomend this hotel and would choose to stay there again if we're lucky enough to visit again

This hotel is in an excellent position for visiting Dinagyang. It is a 100m walk to the nearest judging area. (Do your research and buy tickets to view the performances. The dancers will face the judges. If you are too far to the side you won't be able to see. Paying to watch is worth the money).
The hotel was very busy. Staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant downstairs is cheap and has a basic buffet breakfast for 100 pesos. As I don't eat meat, I didn't try it.
On the down side, the lobby wifi is crap. You need to pay for wifi (150 pesos for 24 hours). This did not work well from our room even though we had a business suite. Works better from outside the room.
The business suite was very spacious. The bathroom could have fitted a bathtub as well. The water pressure wasn't great but there was hot water. Beds are comfortable. The noise from outside was very loud. Our room faced the street, and during the festival huge speakers pumped out music until midnight.
There is no safe in the room. You can leave passports in their safe at reception. They seem very conscious of security though. Noone is allowed to clean your room unless you ask reception. Perhaps it was because of the festival and the hotel being fully booked.
Overall, the hotel served its purpose for our visit. If you are travelling for business, perhaps check that rooms have adequate wifi.

The only downside during our stay was the wifi, it wasn't working and the hot shower was only for a limited time then it reverts to cold. Clean sheets and bathroom was good. The rate we had for quad sharing was under 3kphp it comes with breakfast buffet too.
