The Hotel is near Iloilo City, near a popular Mall.

From iloilo International Airport take a ride PHP 600 to 700 via shuttle service. There is also grab application for around comparable price plus booking charge, there will be waiting time and price difference depending on time of day and demand for ride.

This is a clean hotel with options of breakfast included. Facilities include WiFi, restaurant which is open from 6 AM to 10 PM.

The breakfast buffet includes, soup, rice, eggs, sausage, ham, veggie dish, bread, jam, butter, fruits, coffee and juice. The menu rotates and offering will be vary day to day.
I got also an in-house call reminder to check if I have availed of the buffet inclusive in my package.

Very accommodating staff.
Clean facilities and air-conditioned rooms with hot and cold bath.
Room rates start PHP 1700 for standard rooms.

The check in and check out procedure is very fast and efficient.

Housekeeping can be requested but they replace the bedding every 3 days.

If you go for quiet, accessible and value for money this is recommendable.

There are also nearby restaurants which serve local dishes.

Taxi and grab a ride is also available. Standby taxi are located just a parking slot away.

If in case you book ahead of time hotel shuttle can be arranged to have you picked up. Usually booking ahead will cost less than walk in.

Despite its budget hotel tag line the hotel was very chic in its own little way. It has a decent reception area, wide rooms, clean surroundings, great WiFi coverage, unlimited drinking water (hot and cold), FREE breakfast (that's a plus factor for a budget hotel) in a cozy dining hall located at the top of the hotel, and very comfortable beds, gosh I love the beds. Although some hotel staff should learn to smile more and be more welcoming.

The room was great except for the parking space and breakfast. They told us that it would be a buffet breakfast but ended up eating food from the styro meal box, they could have at least informed us before we made our booking. The cable was unplugged and the channels were limited.

Room was very clean and had enough space for luggage compared to other budget accomodation. Choose the room with windows to see the urban scene which makes Iloilo my favorite city. Free buffet breakfast was limited but filling and served well. It's a few minutes ride to SM Iloilo, Gaisano and Molo Church. Taxis abound so no problem getting to places.

Stayed here for four nights to attend official meetings. The rooms were small, but very neat and cleaned daily. Sheets and towels are clean. Breakfast buffet was reasonable and hotel staff are attentive.

Good location. Accessible and near establishments. Easily find by Grab. Staff are friendly and accommodating. When I arrived, receptionist saya cafeteria is closed but when I asked other staff, they say they didn't know. Value for the money with buffet breakfast included. However, since it's breakfast, I am expecting there is fried rice aside from steamed rice. Overall, stay is good. Hotel is clean. Will comeback again if I will return to Iloilo.

I arrived at this hotel at 1900 hours and was efficiently checked in by pleasant Nica, assisted by doorman Chris.

Although single rooms are cheaper, I opted for a double room at P1480. The hotel is on soft opening so no breakfast facilities yet, but construction work did not commence until 0830 the next morning so that is acceptable.

There is a modern, quiet Schindler loft.

My room, 220, was windowless. There was a luggage shelf and another one much higher up. There was also some soace underneath for belongings and four coat hooks.

There was a timber desk with drawer, comfortable padded steel seat and long thin shelves. Coffee, creamer, cups, saucers and tea spoons were present as was a kettle. Two complimentary small bottles of water were at the desk.

The bed was comfortable with good linen and pillows but inly a doona, no top sheet. All were clean. There were two bedside tables with lamps and power points. The aircon was a tad noisy when cooling but efficient.

The tiled bathroom had a hand basin tap that kept moving and needs to be screwed in. The shower hot water was quite warm but not at Australian temperature standards. The shower curtain was clean and lighting for abluting good.

During the early morning a few other patrins left at 0630 but I was tired and slept until 0900.

The new Megaworld FestivalWalk shopping centre is a P80 taxi trip away and has a MarketPlace supermarket, restaurants and cinemas with more shops to open.

This is excellent budget accommodation where the owners have not skimped.

Great to see, and more evidence as to how tourism continues to grow. Iloilo City is much nicer than Manila and has the white sand coves and delicious mangoes of Guimaras Island a 15 minute large bangka trip away from the wharf.

For a frequent traveller (backpacker) like me, I always make sure that I get the best out of my hard earned money when staying at hotels/resorts that I don't have collaboration with. And I also make sure to always leave an unbiased review to each of them so others would know what to and not to expect.

I've been in Iloilo for a number of times, and I've stayed at different accommodation providers/airbnb/couchsurfing. For my quick visit this in September this year, I saw this new hotel that's (still) on soft opening and the prices are really affordable. So I didn't think twice and booked a double room with breakfast for less than ₱1300 ($25).

As soon as I arrived at the hotel - which I must say was very easy to find (near ayala atria), I checked in and was given a room at the 5th floor. My room didn't have any window or balcony but that's fine (as long as there's no weird or cigarette stench I'm good with no windows).

Their double room's floor area was actually good for the (current) price, the double bed was comfortable, no stains or smell, the TV worked like a charm, the AC cooled the room without issues, the WiFi was surprisingly FAST and stable, and the bathroom was spacious as well. In case you're wondering, yes their rooms have bidet!

Hotel staff were also nice, they would greet you with authentic smiles, and I felt at home during my stay. If there's a downside, I think it's the quality of their breakfast items. Don't get me wrong, I actually didn't expect that my room had an included breakfast BUFFET and that came as a surprise given the amount I paid. But their breakfast items were sad looking. I also didn't like the taste, but in spite of that, I still enjoyed my overall stay at Figtree Hotel and I will recommend this hotel to my friends travelling to Iloilo ona tight budget.
