It's the usual luxury hotel vibe. I like that the bathroom is spacious and complimentary lotion smells so good IMO. I also like the wide selection of food for buffet breakfast and the restaurant is huge enough to cater guests without them feeling too cramped while going around to get food. The pool is also huge, which means you can still actually swim even with a number of other guests is with you in it. The only downside was they don't have an elevator access from the UG parking lot, so your only option was the valet parking, which is sometimes inconvenient for me since it would entail waiting. But that's not so big of a problem, I still looooove this hotel!

We've stayed in different Marriot Hotels around the world and this Courtyard Marriot in Iloilo is one of the Marriotts Hotels that stood out for its cleanliness, classiness and efficiency of their services. The room was spacious - larger than your typical Courtyard brand. The only minus is is their food. It's good but taste of their dishes could be improved. We had their buffet breakfast but nothing special to crow about. We also had a light dinner the night before but like I said, the dishes that we ordered were lacking in flavor. Change your cooks/chefs, please.

The hotel is nice but not that glamorous I must say. We experienced a little inconvenience when we arrived because no one assisted us to put our luggage in the scanner but we thought that maybe they are short staffed because of the pandemic so not a big deal. Another thing is that since we are a group, we requested to be on the same floor. We have 6 rooms in total and no available clean room that time so we have to wait. We arrived in the hotel past 3 so maybe they are still cleaning it. Luckily, 1 room is available so we can put first all our luggage there. We agreed to wait but it took time for other rooms to be finished and when we asked for follow up it seems like it’s our fault that we have just requested for same floor upon arrival so we don’t have any right to be mad. That’s how we felt when we do follow up. To be clear, I’m not complaining on how they handled it but this is just an honest feedback that your service can still be improved.
Our arrival may not be a good experience for us but we are still happy for the rest of our stay because of the smiles from the service people which we can be seen even with their masks on. I cannot remember her name (Yuri or Yumi) but the trainee who greets us every morning when we go to breakfast really brights up our day. Our favorite station is the omelette station wherein you can request to Lynette (Chef) whichever type of omelette you like and it’s delicious! Other staff in the breakfast buffet are very attentive and helpful too☺️
When it comes to the room, even though we are a little messy, housekeeping really does their job! We are always outside so we barely see them cleaning and we only saw Sherry once so if she’s the one who’s cleaning our room, a big thanks for your patience!
Lastly, the front desk and telephone operators were very helpful when it comes to our requests and special mention to the staff who called us for our requested wake up call because she’s really energetic 🤣

We did not get the warm welcome we were expecting. Considering there were few guests. We arrived late in the afternoon, no one was at the desk, the concierge had to call the front desk staff. The room was spacious but not significantly clean. There was a note about new normal changes but amenities inside the room was the same, no trash bin for used ppe, no sanitizers or alcohol inside the room. But we didn't mind. We brought our own. Shower had no hot/warm water so we had to call. A few minutes later the maintenance guy came without wearing a face mask. We were surprised because this was required in all places. The guy went on to check then later told us he will be back so we called the desk again to express our concern about the face mask... then no one came back to check again. Dinner at the restaurant was also disappointing. Understandingly there were limited items on the menu so we asked the server which ones are available. Of course we ordered those he did mentioned then came back to say, "ay sorry po wala din po pala nyan". Next day, shower had hot/warm water already but the bidet was leaking, leaving the bathroom floor wet. We called several times the desk, operator and hk local number but no answer. I had to go down to ask for it to be repaired. After breakfast, we asked the desk if the bidet was okay and the FO said yes...upon returning, yep the bidet was not leaking, the bathroom floor was dried but the toilet seat was wet from looks like the testing of the bidet. They won't clean the room even if you request because as their new normal procedure, they only clean rooms if you stay more than 4 nights. There were other small incidents and is just so frustrating.

It was easier to book as a member and they dont require deposits or payments. You can also change your reservation atleast 2 days before. Prices are reasonable. The hotel is located at the central of Mandurriao, a few steps away from the malls, restaurants and supermarkets. Right beside the intl trade hall, 35 mins away from the airport . My flight was very early and I arrived at 6:30 am at the hotel. The staff was able to check me in with a fee which should be free but charged me for the early check in rate. I cant complain coz I have to fix my documents for the meeting and secure my luggage. The hotel wasnt that busy but its probably a policy which they should look into particularly for business travellers who usually have meetings early in the morning. The buffet breakfast was of high standard and the variety of food is well thought of. Always check your booking online if the breakfast is included. Otherwise, you pay additional fee for the breakfast. The hotel has a lot of amenities, rooms are very clean with good linens and pillows. A Marriott standard. If you like to shop or eat out, its very convenient. The mall is very close and public transpo is easy with regular taxis and grab cars. There are also car rentals you can call which I usually do an dthey can pick you up at the airport and they will charge by the hour. Rate is usually 2,500 pesos for 3 hrs , within the city proper. I will come back and see if the quality & service is consistent.

After 4 years , we're back in Iloilo to attend my nephew's wedding. Of course, Courtyard is our hotel of choice not just because we're Titanium Elite members but also because of our previous wonderful experience. We stayed for a week at a suite and every staff we encountered provided us with outstanding service. The front desk always greeted us with a welcoming smile, the housekeeping keeps our room spic and span everyday, the security staff made us feel safe, the bellhops are available to help with our luggage, the food and beverage personnel are always ready and willing to make your breakfast experience a delight namely John, Richard, Jhermaine, Toto the sous chef, Jones etc. We had a leak in our room and the engineer came to fix the problem right away. We truly enjoyed our stay and the staff made it even better. Thank you Courtyard for all that you do, going above and beyond our expectations. You all deserved to be recognized for exceptional service!

Stayed here for couple of weeks for my quarantine protocol. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, you will be treated extremely well and prioritize even prior to your stay. Thanks to Mr. Armon Catin for the great support, even prior to booking and check in. He assisted me in a timely manner and with a great member privileges. Upgraded to jr. suite and complimentary meals on them... really appreciated the great gesture.
The hotel itself is the best in Iloilo, location wise, amenities and facilities. Thanks to Ms. Tricia from the resto bar, very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this hotel for travelers to Iloilo City. Will be staying again very soon.

Great weekend staycation with our toddler who was able to enjoy the pool. Needed to reserve for pool use as the hotel is limiting guests to maintain safety distancing. Limited breakfast options for their assisted buffet, but the staff were very attentive and courteous.
Definitely a place to go to again to do a quick recharge and be able to create fun memories for our daughter despite the pandemic.

We were fortunate to have stayed at the Courtyard Iloilo for nearly an entire week. We found a hotel where every one of the staff that we interacted with, were very helpful and provided warm hospitality. We felt very welcome here, to sum it up. We loved our suite, which was beautifully furnished. We've stayed at many suites worldwide at different hotels, and the suite at this hotel is among the best we've experienced. As for housekeeping, Oliver & Janice did a wonderful job keeping our suite impeccably clean and in tiptop shape. They deserve to be praised for their excellent work, which we very much appreciated. The suite itself was very spacious, and among our favorite things about it were the wall to wall length couch right by the bedroom window, and the marble floored walk-in closet inside the all marble bathroom.
We frequented the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We found the quality of the food & beverage offerings at the restaurant to be impressively good. The consistency of the quality of the food there is to be admired.
We also frequented the hotel's fitness room and the pool and bar. The fitness room was nicely equipped with a good mix of cardio & weights. But the real star is the pool area and bar. It is outdoors on the 2nd floor, with complete privacy. The swimming pool itself was well maintained and clean throughout our stay. The poolside chairs didn't have umbrellas shielding us from the sun, and if there is room for improvement, it would be to have these umbrellas installed over the chairs at all times. The LED mood lighting that illuminated the pool in several different rotating colors during the evenings, really added to the enjoyable environment we had in the pool and poolside. On one of the evenings we were there, there was a band dishing up some really cool 1980's music, which we loved. The food and drinks we ordered from the poolside bar was excellent. And we enjoyed having dinner there on one of the evenings.
We loved our stay at the Courtyard Iloilo. This is an outstanding hotel that any traveler in the area owes themselves a stay there. We can't wait to come back again the next time our travels take us to Iloilo!

Nice city hotel with a good location. Overall very friendly staff, they extended us a last check out which was nice. We requested assistance from the concierge to organize a tour which was not possible so we asked a third party which was a bit of a shame. The main service I want to highlight is Housekeeping, they wrote us a small note daily after cleaning our room which was really heartwarming, such a great intention. We met the F&B manager upon check out who was very lovely and assisting. Thank you for the hospitality
