In the past year, this place has become worse: of course it’s over 1 year older, but no room upgrades means that we got out of there asap and went to a better place! Room. Cramped and drab looking, facing into the dirty piping outside the room where the window is basically unusable. No view except more filthy buildings. Bed marginally okay and towels almost rags. No soap or shampoo in room, on and on. Aside from the accommodating staff, no welcoming features for weary travellers! Complimentary breakfast. So bad that only the whole banana and small bottle of water is worth having. Have to walk out of the hotel up the street to The Summer House at the corner. Fake or just plainly horrible ‘chinese’ food = a joke! Lobby. Renovations that have taken over a year! Staff having to work in temporary place far from lobby door. Got rid of the dampness from the waterfall, a good thing. Overall. Last year stayed here on the 7th floor for a spell where could see the sky but, as the elevator only goes to the 6th floor, had to walk up a flight of steps to access it. Has chinois stamped all over it: obviously the recently-deceased owner has freed up some capital for the family to upgrade the front end, but the rooms are also in desperate need of refurbishing. Except for festivals, they must wonder why it’s not filled very often. Oh well, burn more spirit money next year? Don’t bother anyone. Depending on your budget and proximity to amenities, try Day’s Inn at the Atrium Mall, or less lavish Home Square near it, or go further down Luna to Highway 21 or Century 21 where the place both looks better and has much better services.

The room was spacious and clean. There was a TV, table, chair and cabinet. The bathroom was also clean. My booking via agoda came with breakfast which was basic but satisfactory. The hotel is just around the corner from Jollibee and Chowking.

Room is adequate in size. Very clean (housekeeping cleans our room & change the towels everyday). No robe/bag hook in the T&B, especially, no hot water (showered with ice cold water). T&B lacked ledges/counter space for guests' toiletries. Furnishings are kind of outdated. Front desk is friendly & professional. Location is good (near malls)

A home away from home. I've been here almost once or twice a month since I started to stay here last January 2015, Dinagyang Festival. I feel the comfort and the service quality of the staff, from the Front Office, to Housekeeping, to Food & Bev Service and Security, and they're very accommodating. Plus factor is the location which is in the heart of Iloilo city. One thing for sure is that, I've always wanted to comeback and stay here in this hotel. See it for yourself!

The lodging was clean but old. The desk girls very helpful. The included breakfast was good as was the service. The prior evening I had dinner there and very poor service. I asked for a glass of water and much later received a glass but no water. Another long wait and I asked for water in the glass. I finally received a bottle of water for 30 peso's. The help was standing around doing nothing and acted bored. Food is good, service was not

Don’t be fooled by the pictures because they are far from what I saw when I stayed there together with my so. The hallway is shabby, we felt like we were in a hospital corridor. But the room is worse. First of, we don’t feel safe even with the door locked. Next the bed was really really small and the sheets and towels were yellowish and showed signs of over usage that we were almost afraid to touch them. The comfort room is really small and needs to be scrubbed. The free breakfast composed of a few chunks of corned beef that doesn’t even taste like one and a rice topped with egg. And the location is quite scary at night because it is located in a seedy downtown area. Good thing though a 24h security guard is always at the entrance.

Only one poor quality towel, no room refrigerator, poor breakfasts that pretend to be Chinese at nearby Summer House, and old Town Centre is dirty, broken up and trashy. Staff are great but the Chinese ownership puts them in chains as is common everywhere where that kuripot face-driven race proudly oppress the poor. Midtown is ok on a pinch.

Older hotel but a reasonable price for the accommodations. Hotel Manager was super helpful. The staff is very professional. There was a glitch in my reservation thru TripAdvisor and Agoda. The manager helped straighten everything out by calling Agoda and Trip Advisor. He then upgraded our room to compensate for the booking problem.

Met my father and his GF here to catch the Dinagyang Festival, budget Hotel stayed for 2 nights and had to give away the night for free, since it was a 3 night package. Staff is friendly and courteous. Be careful the restaurant in the lobby has clean utensils and check your hot water!

We stayed in this hotel November 2015,we had reserved 8 rooms for my brothers wedding. Staff were good and accommodating, food are good and within reasonable price and the hotel is located within the city. The only thing I don't like is that it takes forever for the a/c to cool down the room, you cannot leave the a/c on coz every time you go out you have to remove the wall key and of course everything turned off as well. The worst thing is when you take a shower coz the white towels looked brown and seems you don't want to pat it in your skin the bathroom white rugs looked brown to black. Even you will ask for replacement its still the same color very yucky to use. I wish and hope the management have noticed and changed it .
