The people in this hotel must learn how to handle inquiries from their customers. Due to the recent lockdown in Metro Manila, I cannot be able to consume the already booked and fully paid accommodation on March 19-21. I have asked them to refund it due to the announcement and mandated lockdown but they are just pointing me to the travel agency AGODA to do that refund. While I did my share of reaching out to Agoda for this inquiries, unfortunately for that company they are just sending me back to the hotel for any refund or cancellation of my booking. Now this hotel's customer service agent who are replying to my message inquiries are saying they dont have the capacity to refund and i should get back to Agoda. Who now is responsible for the refund since this is a scenario that no one wants to happen. Harbor hotel already took my full payment via my credit card now they want me to chase Agoda who has no way of letting me contact them for the refund. This is unacceptable. This hotel must know how to handle complaints such as this. I WILL NEVER EVER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BOOK TO YOUR HOTEL.

We arrived late as per planned. The place is not that far from the city. Near 7 eleven just around the corner. They have a restaurant and the price is ok. I do love the setup of the room. Cute and clean. Well lit and comfy. Near city ports to guimaras and bacolod roro/ferry. A must for a traveler like us. Cheers.

I made my reservation for only 1 night! And this experienced was so good ! Kudos to the FO especially the pregnant Girl in Front desk, actually I book for two beds but they give my request with out hesitation ! They give me an option If I check in Early they will give 2beds but if I waited for 2 pm they will give 1 bed . And yes I get the first choice which is the 2beds and Im unhappy for the view and the FOA give me an option and thanks to her because she help me. And before 2pm I'll go back to The lobby and the Pregnant girl ask my name and she check my room if ready and she said "Sir Is it Okay to show you the room first" with smile 😊and I said Yes sure ! .. You know in this way of behavior is so nice She has a nice Way of customer service. ! Thank you Ate! 😊! Please Keep her in your company Harbor Town Hotel😊😉 And the other side 👎 ! The food was Good but the portion of the food Is not worth it to the money that you paid for. The price is to much ! But over all is Excellent! 4 Star . !

All great things I can say to their very helpful security personnels and hotel staffs. All are courteous and offers insightful information around the area. Upon arrival at the area, the guards assist us in unloading our luggages, they are always alert and opens doors for you and always greets you with a smile which makes you feel at ease especially to travellers who can’t speak the local language. Before leaving, they assisted us in getting a cab and helped us load our luggages to the cab. The hotel itself is quite old but rest assured that beddings and towels are clean. The management can do a renovation and upgrade which will make the hotel flourish more. The cabinet is spacious and will fit 2 handcarry luggage bag plus shoes and you can still hang your stuffs. It however lacks electrical outlet near the bed. The only power source is one near the table area. 10/10 rate for the service personnels 9/10 for cleanliness 7/10 for facilities quality

This hotel has a café restaurant on the ground floor bearing the same name of the hotel: Harbor Town Café. While I don't have nothing negative to say about its staff (for they were all friendly and accommodating), I would like to point out a couple of things about the food and the waiting time which I think need considerable improvement. This café is practically just one narrow corridor. It can accommodate only a few people at a time. There were just five other people when I walked into the restaurant and placed my order ... just some aglio e olio fettuccine and peach lemonade. The drink was served right away, but it took them exactly 35 minutes to serve my pasta dish! That's too long, considering how easy it is to prepare an aglio e olio pasta dish and we were just six customers in the room (with three of them already finishing their meal when I arrived)! As to the drink and pasta dish I ordered, the peach lemonade didn't taste like peach at all, while the aglio e olio dish didn't have the slightest taste of aglio (garlic)! I have been ordering and cooking this dish ever since I was in Italy (where I lived for 23 years) and the way it is prepared at Harbor Town Café is far from the way it should be cooked. I hope they would do something about it.

The hotel is very close to the city hall where I have meetings and takes only a few minutes by taxi or by walking. It's the busy city proper of iloilo where you can walk around the old town market and shops. I thought it's better to stay overnight and catch the early morning flight the next day. The hotel is quite old and basic. The rates are fair enough for what you get, good water pressure, heater works well, cable tv but wifi is so slow. I also notice the noise from the street which is obviously coming from the unsealed windows, floor which is not polished and sticky. Another housekeeping negligence. I think the Management should look into details on improving this hotel. Linens and towels must be changed including those old pillows. The hotel looks nice and big on the photos but actually very small and quite old. The restaurant is very small, serves breakfasts and the staff are all very friendly and attentive particularly the service crew and security. They will assist you get a cab whenever you need and will tell you what's best around the area. The front desk people need to learn to smile and be more helpful to customers. They don't pick up intercom calls...I tried many times and I always have to go down and ask regarding the wifi. They need more training about customer care and service. I d give this an average rate and hopefully the Management can read their reviews on how to improve their hotel.

I booked this hotel because of the cheap price and for that, I wasn't expecting anything much. For one it's location was not exactly posh but it's quite near enough to everything the city could offer. To my surprise, though, once arrived there, the hotel was way too much better than expected. From the moment I got off from the vehicle I already felt the warm welcome. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They really take care of their clients and they were always ready with their smiles. My room was just right for a solo traveler like me. Even good enough for two. And the room was very clean. The rooms are non-smoking but they have a designated place for smoking though. The hotel has a restaurant at the ground floor but there are also a lot of food stores nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely book again this hotel if I return to Iloilo City. I think the hotel facade just needs a little improvement as well as the alleys going to the rooms. Other than that, I am very much satisfied.

Stayed for two days. 👌Hotel location is in the city proper. Smooth process at the front desk Friendly and helpful staffs. You can ask them for directions. With complimentary breakfast for the first day. Stayed at the Superior Double Room wasn't that spacious. No hairdryer, toothbrush and ref. Rooms isn't soundproof. Not well lit you can't open the windows because the adjacent building is underconstruction. Furnitures and fixtures are worn-out. Wifi for the first day was fine but the second day was just bad slow and at times unable to connect (informed the front desk). The bathroom smells. 👃
