The epitome of you get what you pay for, but budget should not mean low quality, rooms are far from the pics they show, it was very small for family room standards, cobwebs, dirt on the edges & corners of the room, this shows very very poor housekeeping, should have backed out upon seeing the entrance, uncut grass, dirty facade, upon entering, you are greeted with a musty smell, also, bathrooms is as unappealing as the room, there was also the sound of something gnawing on wood, but to be fair,AC was good, WIFI fast & stable, location is very good, but sadly that's it, to the owners of this hotel, please improve, your location and pricing is hard to beat, cancelled my 2nd day coz I was concerned of my family's health, the 200 peso cancellation fee was well worth it

It's one of the cheapest accommodations in Bacolod, and pretty much reflects our experience here. The front office staff took a while before confirming the reservation that we made weeks prior. We got assigned to a windowless room right behind their tiny reception desk, and so naturally we got to hear all the loud chattering and bickering of the staff and guests right outside our door. The bathroom, toilet, and even the floors looked and smelled unhygienic.

Hotel is not that big and new so don't expect but the atmosphere and the people are amazing. The staff is accommodating and friendly. Two thumbs up for them. The location is situated within the city so you won't have a problem commuting.

Great location. Near restaurants. Allows early and late check in but with a fee. Strong shower pressure. I would have wanted to say more but as what i placed in the title, i am just focusing on the positive as per my experience when i was with them.

I only spent 1 night. Worth the price for a solo, although I had trouble with online reservation. Overall my stay was great. Hotel near to the center. Accommodation just fit the price. Staff was good.

Went to Bacolod for a wedding. Stayed in Hometown for two nights. The place also has a pub beside it, the noise of which that comes from the pub resonates through the rooms. All those singing and crowd cheering seeps through the walls. One more thing. Upon check in, there was no toilet paper. The sink looks worn and dirty. Not going back.

Home town hotel is a small hotel and qith easy access to the city of bacolod. If you want to find an affordable place to stay home town hotel is the place to stay.I stayes overnight in this place and i feel like i'm at home it small bunk bed in a solo room is already a good place to stay overnight. The room is clean and the aircondition is controllable they have a free mineral water that you can refill your bottle 24 hours and if you need to heat up your food they also have a microwave that you can use.I hope that the water pressure will be strong enough if everyone uses it all at the same time. The receptionist is very friendly and very accommodating I asked the receptionist what is the best way going to silay airport the receptionist informed me that there is a van that goes to their hotel to pick up a guess going to the airport.I'm very lucky that I don't need to go to any terminal van to go to the airport and I was just picked up by the van.I recommend this hotel if you want a nice place to stay in the city of Bacolod.…

I booked one night here for my arrival into The Philippines from the US. The location on the north end of town is great for arriving at the airport. The budget price is hard to beat considering the clean room, powerful aircon, speedy wifi and large bed with thick mattress and hot water in the shower that I had to adjust to a low setting. The only downsides I can mention is the lack of windows in my downstairs room, a shortage of parking, and The fact that you can hear those in the hall. The location is walking distance from a Watsons, Chicken House, a mini mart, and a 24 hr massage place. Robinsons is within view up the street. The Coffee house next door had Starbucks quality drinks. The staff are polite and charming.

I initially booked a day for a week-long Negros Occidental trip— I ended up extending two more nights because of convenience due to its proximity to several must see/visit places and/or restaurants. Pros (+) - Strategic location. In the heart of Lacson Street/ Downtown. If you’re coming from the airport, just tell the driver to drop you off at Tom n Toms or ABS- CBN. Both places are situated beside Hometown. If you want to dine out, head out and cross the street— you will find Pendy’s (one of the well-known restaurants in Bacolod); 21 Restaurant/ Felicia’s/ C’s / Calea/ a Bong bongs branch are all one-short jeepney ride away from the hotel. A convenience store is likewise steps away from the place. - All hotel attendants are polite and approachable. They are knowledgeable about the must see places too. I rely on them over the blog sites as they could give you tips in commuting, travelling etc. - Rooms though basic are affordable and well-maintained/ clean. - Clean sheets, comfy bed and pillows (at least for Room # 4, located at first level, near lobby) - Second level is where the common area is located. There’s an oven, microwave, water dispenser (cold/ hot water), kitchen utensils, plates, spoon & fork, glass etc. — very ideal for budget/ DIY travellers (you just need to wash them up after use). Smoking areas are available at the ground/ second levels. Cons (-) - There’s an ongoing construction outside (this however did not impact our stay as they are operating in the morning when guests are awake/ out on tours not to mention that fact that we always travel with earplugs) - They do not have a restaurant ergo, no food is available (except for bottled waters and sodas, a few local chips) What I loved the most about this place is the people— they extended extra miles to assist their clients. Our flight back home got cancelled due to typhoon and they quickly contacted nearby hotels to check vacancies. They even let us leave our things when we travelled to Sipalay. This is highly recommended. …

Ok for sleeping only as the rooms did not have windows. Good location though. Tom N Toms coffee beside it was good for meetings and breakfast. There's a spa near the bridge that is also worth a visit. That's about it.
