It took 2 years of planning and finding the perfect spot to hold our 35th High School Reunion.We zeroed in on Palmas Del Mar for it's tropical atmosphere and great amenities. From the onset, I was assisted by Reyzil who was so professional and helpful in selecting our Theme,buffet selection and giving me options for our budget. Everyone enjoyed the food, the music and the decorations.The Marketing staff are also ever ready to help when Reyzil isn't available namely: Joyce, Stephanie,Emy, Eunice, Markie and Julie. The rooms are kept neat and clean by the best housekeeping crew: Maylene, Fe, Eleanor and Anabel. Breakfast has a set menu and you have to order it with Jackie and the rest of the servers who always smile despite the demands place on them. Thanks also to Armando, the Head Manager who was present the whole time we were having our reunion and is hands on and dependable when needed. From the Bellman Rodel and others (sorry I forgot their names) who never hesitate to lend a hand with our luggage with a pleasant attitude and a smile. Mark, the security guard ensures our safety around the property. One of our classmates fell on the pool as he was drunk and the lifeguard came to the rescue to save him. Wow, I can't ask for a topnotch service. You guys are awesome! I truly appreciate all your excellent service.I won't hesitate to recommend Palmas Del Mar to anyone not just for the beauty of the place but the awesome staff.Thanks for making our party a huge success. This place is good for both recreation with family and for personal, group or corporate events. They have swimming pools to satisfy your need for swimming also meals to satisfy your hungry tummy. I had lots of events here where me and my team do photo and video coverage for events. Love the place especially the sight of sunset in Palmas Del Mar. My wife and myself were married at palmas del mar resort Bacolod in early January 2020 . Our wedding organiser joisse Blancaflor photographer woody rances jaum and all associated people , palmas staff and management done a fantastic job and made all family and friends very welcome and comfortable during our wedding and vacation there . Would definitely recommend palmas del mar for a relaxing comfortable holiday destination if visiting Bacolod Phillipines .Thanks again everyone. See you all again soon

It will be nice if your front office associates are more accommodating and nice.. please hire people with proper front office management training. Ignoring customers' needs and providing bad service experiences ultimately results in losing customers!! NEVER AGAIN! Your staff members will ruin your business!

The resort is based on a huge compound within a gated community. It has many rooms in many buildings that used to be nice decades before. Now the buildings partly are closed down. The pools are dirty and all in all the place looks deserted and in some areas like a ruin.

my family and I , stayed for overnight, we got a a villa near the pool and a cabana the following day to celebrate my dads bday,since we still stayed until the rest of the day at the cobana, we left something at our room but no one bothers to call our attention even we are still at the resort( cabana) . The following day I called and asked if the missing items, but the. Items missing was not reported as lost in found , and they told us to contact their incharge up to know no feedback.

where do I begin to say that we should have listen to our own gut feeling before finalizing the birthday party of my aunt here....it's bad enough that they charge you extra for the accommodation in case the weather does not cooperate...it is even worst that they make you pay an extra 1000 pesos/person just to taste if you like the food that they prepare..but the clincher of it all, we pay to have them serve 150 of our guests during my aunts party and what did their waiters/waitress did??? hire 30+ interns to serve the guests and while we did not even have 150 guests attending the party, those waiters "served" themselves with the food while the remaining guests including the videographers starve since they all put the food under the table for them to "take home" after their short stint at the party. The owners could care less about hiring these people because they are trying to put more money in their pockets instead of paying legitimate workers to work and give better service to their clients. Shame on you Palmas del mar!!! this will be the first and only business you will get from our family and rest assured that we will make sure that our friends will know and be aware about the rackets you guys like to pull from your guests! and to think that there are a lot of foreigners going to your place... apparently, putting a good impression to your guests is something that you could care less about!

Clean rooms, excellent service, good food, two pools, and beautiful sunsets. It is close to the airport but not so much that you'd notice. Our room had icy air conditioning and was fairly quiet.

I have stayed at Palmas Del Mar many times and it has all that I need for a relaxing stay. Two pools, one olympic size the other is kidney shaped mainly for children but fun for adults to splash around in. The food is great and very reasonably priced. The rooms vary from a low of P995 to P1500 during the low season. The lower priced rooms are clean and comfortable with several overlooking the smaller pool and lagoon. The higher priced rooms are fairly new bungalows and a brand new two story building.
Service and staff are excellent and you can eat in the restaurant or the pool patio or on the balcony of your room at no extra charge. The only problem is they tend to be booked up and you must make reservations two weeks to a month in advance.
The location is on the far side of the airport and there is some noise but not to distracting and fortunately the airport is not that busy. Take a look at their website. A friend of mine developed their website. The photos are not overstated. [--]

Palmas del mar is totally different in picture or what they have display online, i booked my wedding, and all paid before we check in,since I worked in abroad I can´t do anything , so I decided to choose palmas to help me out of my wedding, i have a chat with this lady named April for a couple of months, and i make sure that everything is set up and she said that the venue will be set up on july 23rd afternoon, or evening , but what happened when we arrive there, she said its her day_off and we have to find jysryll and we could not find, so i just leave it for the next day as what April said the music can be settle in the morning. July 24, 2016 is my wedding day, 6 am I check the venue is still empty, i ask the reception where is the in-charge of wedding and they said April will come later, and then I ask again who i can talked about the music because I wanted to serenade my groom , and they said "mam we will call you when they arrive" so there is nothing I can do than saying okay and go back to my room, 7:30 am I´m getting ready and started my make-up when the guy told me that the music and staff is there and then when i went to the venue the old guy put his hands up and shaking his head impolitely and said " no not me, go the the front desk and ask" that was the time i loss my temper and said" please don´t keep me pushing to anyone that does not know what they are doing and let me run around to find whoever staff who knows nothing when, I want the real person in-charge of the music. and then in the front desk they told me that hes not arrive yet. what the hell, this wedding staff really ruined my wedding day, April show up at 10 am, she never show up before is that a good incharge come late to the big event? and I never get a chance to talk to jysryl the one incharge to the music, so what i did is put a. b. c. d so that they know the sequence and when i walked to serenade my groom they couldn´t find the music , how come? when it´s all there they manage to play the entourage music, the groom music and the forevermore music they couldn´t find which is next to the groom music, I cried not bec of the moment of my walking the aisle, I cry because of being so very disappointed so then my friend told them just dont put music on , that I will just sing without music but what they do they turn off music but then when im in the middle of the aisle they play the beautiful in white music again while im singing forevermore that is terrible , very horrible felling i got , my wedding i so simple but April and her staff looks like can´t do it, they really ruined my day. and it´s not right when my friend ask april why this happened and April said " mam sorry my staff is too tired" it´s not right I pay the right amount and i didn´t say i don´t have 1 peso here im sorry i couldn´t pay you right amount is that okay? and other complain is April didn´t bother to suggest about the room of the bride, she knows how their room looks like i thought it´s okay since it is soo good in thier picture and when my mother inlaw see the room she is really disappointed at first glance, we can pay as long as we will be comfortable, if you are good incharge you could say" mam do you upgrade your room bec this room is small and etc." she is really irresponsible, if you work for more that 10 years in company you should be more knowledgeable but i didn´t say that, not eve hardworking, like every time i msg them they will reply after a day, hope the management will give noticed to this, now we will have to do wedding again bec of the service of palmas del mar wedding is really sucks, they said in their advertisement " Why worry? Let us plan your wedding package…
Palmas del Mar Bacolod maintains a roster of wedding planners for you to choose from. This way, we take the work out of your hand,and the worry off your mind." I din´t see that service because me the bride run around early morning to find thier staff, the real bride should chill and relax and not stress herself looking for the in-charge of the wedding.. our day was ruined and it is not right that we have to pay for services that was NOT given, i am not happy about the performance of the staff, i was suppose to be happy on the happiest day of my life, but how could i be when all i got was disappointment.

The Island Premier suites are good for 4 and are priced at P2,800 per night.Two of these with an extra bed per room (P400 each) is a good option, especially if you can get rooms beside each other.
Our Lagoon Suite at P3,750 is good for 5 and can take an additional 2 extra beds. For the remaining three, you can get a lagoon suite for 2 (P1,500) and add an extra bed. The Lagoon Suite is a big room and the family group of ten can bond inside this room. Sorry about the late reply.
