We stayed for 2 weeks in GT Hotel because our hometown was affected by Odette and there was no electricity, everything was very good until the last hours of our stay where we were forced to check out eventhough we have scheduled a PAID extended stay. We were advised that someone will occupy the room. What infuriated me most was I wasn't told earlier by Wella the front desk officer at that time who even saw us went out of the hotel 2 hours before the check out, that they confirmed a booking though we already talked a night before that we are extending and paying for an extension of 2-3 hours. She called me to confirm our check out and I told her of our expected checkout as agreed the night before but I was told that we have to vacate the room at 2pm because someone will arrive to check in. They made it sound that there were no other family rooms other than ours than can be occupied even though the hotel was not really fully booked. We totally love the service of the other staff but this one incident made a huge negative impression to us. GT Hotel became our home for that two-week stay in the typhoon devastated province. Just so disappointed how were treated.

Being located at the heart of City of Smiles is one of its advantage; where church, malls, and other attractions are just steps away it's really undeniable that GT Hotel is one of the best value hotels in the metro. I can say that foods are great, desserts are highly commendable and have reasonable prices. They also have function rooms and very accommodating sales and marketing, food & beverage, housekeeping, and front office staff. On top of that, this hotel has a spacious parking lot where you can really say that they value their guests' security and safety because they have guards on duty and the area is covered with cctv cameras. Furthermore, hotel room rates truly prove its value. Rooms are clean and well maintained and room attendants are all nice and friendly. Checking in on time has never been an issue because front office staff secures room availability upon guests' arrival and if not available, they make offer that the guest/s can leave their things at the concierge and will be immediately informed if room is already available. May GT Hotel Bacolod continues to deliver good customer service and be more driven to excel in hotel and hospitality industry. This hotel is always "a home, away from home". :)

I have been staying in this hotel since it first opened last 6 years ago. Customer service is excellent because the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They also have a wide variety of function rooms for business meetings and events that is fit your needs and budget. However, recently I am not impress with their breakfast because the choices are not that good. More or less, I still rated this hotel as very good for the reason that customer service plays a lot of importance for me.

Good Hotel, clean and spacious room, clean linens and towel. Bathroom is spacious as well with complimentary toiletries. The room is provided as well with complimentary hot drink and bottled water, mini-bar and television. Hotel staffs are courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet has modest spread but quality food. The only thing that was not quite right is the hot shower, for two days I only had tepid shower, perhaps I did not run the water long enough?. It was summer when I stayed so it did not matter much.

GT hotel was very accessible, that was the primary thing i consider when booking hotels. Quick check in, pretty reception staff, not cheap but affordable, very helpful. When we got our room, we liked it because it was clean, one huge bed for the 3 of us, comfy pillows, clean sheets and towels, nice tv signal, wifi was ok, clean toilet, with hot/cold water in the shower.

I'll keep my review short and to the point. Check in was quick and easy, staff was helpful and accommodating escorting to room carrying belongings if necessary. Bed was clean and sheets were comfortable, aircon worked well and TV had a good channel selection. The shower was the major weak point for the room I had (405), no hot water and barely had any pressure. The shower head only dripped making it hard having to lean against the wall to actually get the water on yourself. Breakfast was decent with good selection of food. And check out was quick and easy.

Didn’t expect but this hotel got everything that you need: - Friendly staff - Clean room (with windows) - Clean water - Laundry service - Food served from their resto isn’t so bad - Near SMX (why I booked this in the first place) - Wifi (although I didn’t get to use it) You’ll get your money’s worth.
