The problem with this hotel is lack of maintenance. Everything seems to be from the 1990s and of course it doesn’t matter how hard you try and clean and maintain things it just doesn’t look good. The basics are wrong such as the bathroom where the hot water takes 5 minutes to get warm. The toilet keeps getting blocked and the aircon is more than 20 years old and probably a bacteria paradise.

Not my 1st time in Bacolod but 1st time to stay in L'Fisher. Expected nothing much. The Chalet is at the back of the main hotel, their rooms are quite bigger than the ones in the main hotel. Not much about the lobby and corridors, its just simple. And I didn't really feel the air conditioning at the lobby, but that's OK. Our room was a family suite, 2 separate rooms with 2 TBs. It was very spacious and almost complete in amenities in the common space and bathrooms. Almost because a bidet was lacking. I wish next time I come back, they would install bidets :) And the downside of our room was, it was located near a KTV place across the street, for 2 nights tho, music was a bit loud but they would tone down before 10pm. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel!

First time I stayed here was in August 2011. I chose it then because of its close proximity to Calea, and I was a pastry arts student during that time. It was excellent value for money; not as expensive as the main hotel, but the room was in a very good condition, SULIT talaga! This year, I went back to Bacolod with my family and stayed at L'Fisher Chalet again. Customer service was on point. The friendly staff, even the security guards, always greeted guests with a smile. The hotel is, of course, a bit older but still in good condition. Great options in the breakfast buffet. It may be best to eat at 8 a.m. because when we did a 9 a.m. breakfast on a Sunday, they were running low on some food items and it took time for kitchen to replenish. They also ran low on coffee cups and it took a while for F&B to keep up. Just be patient and understanding, peak hours are really challenging. Must try restaurants / pastry shops / cafes within walking distance to the hotel: Felicia's (ensaymada) Calea (white chocolate cheesecake) 21 (batchoy, blue marlin, bibingka, chocolate cake) Cafe Bob's Bongbong's (for pasalubong shopping) Chicken House (which I liked better than Aida's)

I have stayed at the Main Hotel many times before and mostly enjoyed. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have experienced and I often compare it to other hotels, and it almost always surpasses many, many other venues. But.... given the size of the property and the relative good run of business, I am not sensing that they are re-investing in their own past positive performance, especially at the Chalet portion of the property. Big mistake. Seda Capitol is most likely the next place I will stay. I'm not finding Big Things wrong in my room, but the overall attention to detail is very lacking - the curtains have cigarette burn holes, the aircon looks grimy and is not properly sealed from the outside, there's obvious accumulations of dust remaining from hurried room cleanups, painted walls have blemishes that have never been addressed, there are flies in the room, one pillow per bed? Sheesh. Hallway carpets are worn, clocks are wrong, To me, this is purely a management issue - they need to take a serious look at their budgets and a calendar and get moving. Disappointing your guests is a sure path to failure, especially as newer properties open nearby that offer fresh, clean enticements. Staff a bit lackadaisical... when I arrive I'm hauling my own luggage to the front desk from the taxi... it's a big FU of the guest. Based on what you're paying here, its hard to say that you won't be just a little disappointed, perhaps not a lot, but I'm not sure if they are just contented to rest on their laurels. Team L'Fischer, is that the case? Is "average" acceptable?

It was so wonderful to stay in your hotel The staff to security is always there to greet a guest and welcome them with open arms. I like it when they greet you and put their hands in their chest. Thats a great gesture! Also the breakfast buffet is amazing! And Housekeeping 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 spotless! Hope to stay again in your hotel.

Booked a standard room for a night, and I guess you get what you pay for since it's the cheaper version of the l'fisher hotel? Aircon was a bit old and dilapidated but still functions well. Location was awesome, it's across Calea, with Felicia's and Capriccioso on its sides, and also nearby Bongbong's for pasalubongs. The breakfast buffet was two thumbs up! You'll have it at L'Fisher Hotel's restaurant, the hotel smells a bit musty though. Loved the crispy bacon, danggit, and french toast.

Perceived as the poor cousin to its mother hotel. Breakfast is served at mother hotel resto. Wifi is fast but spotty. FO needs customer service updates. Rooms are good though : right size, cool, working hot shower, but no bidet.

We checked in last week with my sister whose celebrating her birthday. I book for 2 rooms for my family however due to unlikely event they weren't able to catch the plane home. It was very disappointing that they are not flexible enough to assist me with my booking. Since my family couldn't make it, nobody will occupy the other room. I explained my concern and asked to amend my reservation. I know it's a favor and I understand that you guys have a policy but the thing is it was not explained. Only the hotel knows the policy unless they will advise the guest. Besides, if I will amend my booking and move it on other dates they would still have their revenue. It's still a win-win situation because I am not asking for a refund. Probably, I was expecting a great service because we've been there several times, we had my sister's debut and my best friend's wedding. We even plan to celebrate my father's 60th birthday. It was also unfortunate that manager doesn't have time to speak with me when I was looking for her. I waited for the manager so I can talk to her personally but they told me that she was in the meeting, at past 3pm? The receptionist said that they will just call me. Few minutes, I rcvd a call and as per her manager, if ever they will be able to sell the room before 6:00PM then that's the only time they could amend the booking otherwise the room needs to be checked in. I bet this is their first time to encounter such problem, it was an emergency and the only solution that they could offer is that! So I guess, I don’t have any other choice. right? I know, how considerate! I felt really hopeless… and what frustrates me is when they asked a handwritten letter to be address to the Resident Manager so that the management will approve my case. Really? Worst thing is… they will advise me the following day, so what will happen with my booking if I’ll wait for their decision tomorrow? Too late booking already rolled over. Anyway, to cut it…my sister contacted her friends and last minute she invited them to come over. That’s how we decided to take the other room. We checked in the room at 9PM… and went out to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Sadly, they didn’t even bother to offer us late check out. On the positive note, despite what happen I would like to commend “Lea” - front desk agent. She was very helpful and I highly appreciate her assistance. Thanks to her I remained calm and was able get hold of myself.

I had the baptismal celebration here of my youngest child and the food and accommodation was really great. You are given free of charge room for your event with free breakfast (buffet) the next day. You can also use their facilities for free. The food was ok and they even allowed us to bring the extra food that we had not consumed.
