Stayed overnight: 1. Location is good. Along Lacson Street which is the main road in Bacolod City. 2. Restaurants, cafes, shops are just walking distance. 3. Room is average. Expensive for its quality. No windows. 4. Staff service were okay. Guards were helpful. 5. Didnt go to the facilities (gym and pool) so no comment. 6. Wifi was available. Signal was okay. 7. Toilet has bidet. 8. Hot shower available. Did not like the complimentary shampoo/bath gel. 9. Only 1 elevator. You can use the stairs. 10. Size of the bed was okay but I did not like the quality of the sheets. I do not recommend this because of its price. It is quite expensive for its room quality. Just stay here if you need a place along Lacson Street.

Hotel is poor quality but very expensive, the family room didn't have a spare bed supplied and we had to wait over an hour for the room to be ready! Poolside is not exactly true - up some stairs in a small lobby. Do not be fooled by special offers - book the cheapest room and such it up!

Front desk checked my drivers license and I was not able to get it back. Instead of reminding me or giving it back to me they clipped it to their files. Ladies at the front desk are nice but they need more training.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel was compared to l’fisher and Seda as an alternative. Stayed here because rooms were recommended to us as huge by a local. Maybe quality has gone down since but the way they run this hotel is terrible. There is an extra charge for everything including the use of pool and gym. They told us that we booked a low price on Agoda and it only included the room. So when you say room only.. it’s just the room and nothing else! My baby vomited on her crib mattress and we tried asking for an extra bedsheet. They tried to charge us 250 pesos so we just got the sheet off our bed and used it on her mattress. At least the parking was free. Also they were fixing the septic tank so the whole hotel smelled like feces all afternoon until it was fixed. In the evening no one was working anymore and there was no more smell. Gross! Would never stay here again!

Avenue Suites is one of the most accessible accommodations in Bacolod since it's located along Lacson Street, one of the main thoroughfares of the city. Its facilities are okay, with a nice swimming pool, a small fitness center, a lovely restaurant, etc. on the ground floor. The rooms, on the other hand, were minimalist in design, with no decors whatsoever on the walls and very limited furniture, but quite spacious and with a private toilet/shower room. They're very strict with the "no outside food and drinks to be brought into the room" policy and yet they don't even provide guests with free water. As to the toiletries, they have a shampoo/body wash dispenser fixed on the wall of the shower box and a toothbrush with some tooth paste. Nothing more. The only thing they really have to work on is the noise on the ground floor and of some guests and staff in the corridors. The rooms have very thin walls. I was on the second floor (room 212) near the stairs and the elevators and I could practically hear all the noises outside. Hence, I suggest that you avoid booking a room on the second floor near the stairs and the elevator. By the way, breakfast was okay and hotel staff were very accommodating.

Came in on a business trip. Got a deluxe queen through agoda but immediately requested to have the room changed as it didnt have any windows (had to pay an extra Php800 for the 'upgrade'). Room is at the very least, OK- bed was comfortable enough and the a/c more than sufficient. There were a number of undesirables though- tv had no video (didnt bother to report as i was too tired to watch anyway), barely any toiletries provided save for a tiny soap and almost empty shampoo/bath gel pump, hot water is on & off (when lever is turned full to hot) so you need to turn to the right (cold) so water will flow. Lastly, i was on the 5th floor fronting the main street and it was NOISY.

Room 2 of 5 Service 3 of 5 Location 4 of 5 The only + about them is location and strong bidet. No dental kit, slippers, nor complimentary water provided. No hairdryer and fridge as well. Only one pillow was provided per bed. Hot water was working so that's good. Cafe at the ground floor was also okay despite being too pricey. Overall, i won't return.

Make sure you check everything in the room as soon as you get in. You will have to pay penalties for something you didn't report. The night we checked in, I had noticed preexisting blue stains on the sheet. They were faded so I didn't think much of it, which ended up being my mistake. When checking out the following day, I was told we were being charged a fee for the stains! Definitely take pictures and report anything, just to be safe. I had also been told if you have any missing towels you will be charged for that as well.

Stay away from this hotel. It does not deserve to be called a hotel at all. First, I booked for 1 adult and 2 children, they only provided 2 pillows. When I asked for extra pillow, they said that it would be charged. Why would they provide only 2 pillows when you booked for 3 persons in the first place. Second, they advertise that they have a pool. Normally, people would assume that the facilities mentioned in booking sites are available for guest use unless you need additional services. When we got there, the pool is for 250php per person per day on top of what you paid for already. Third, The quality of breakfast is really not good. I would have expected it already after the below par services that We have received. Fourth, rooms are poorly maintained, e.g. the basin has a big crack on it. The only good thing is the location as it has lots of restos and shops around. If you’re a person that expects something from a “hotel” then don’t come to this place. Airbnbs we have stayed in bacolod have better accommodation and have free pool access. There I said it!
