The executive suite was very elegant, two rooms in one (separated by a door), two air conditioners, two televisions, and two closets. The lounge was separated from the king-sized bed giving a sense of privacy. The comfort room was sizeable. The accommodation came with swimming access for 4, and the pool was sizeable for the waves, with sanitary comfort rooms at the pool area. The cabanas (cottages) were very stylish and sizeable as well. There were kiddie pools as well and an area in the main pool for kids. The accommodation also came with a hearty breakfast which was very delicious. 💖
Hotel has potential but needs improvement. Stayed from March 30-April 1, 2022 and here's a list of my bad experiences: 1. Check In: From the start, I experienced problems, they can't find my reservation and it took them almost 30 minutes to check me in. 2. Room: Had a lot of issues, 1st, Bed cover had dark stains 2nd, Comforter was dusty, I knew because as soon as I tucked myself in, I started wheezing and had an allergic rhinitis attack, I had this feeling of dust sticking to your skin too, ended up taking cetirizine ( good thing I always have one in my medkit which I bring in my travels ), also ended up buying Fluticasone nasal spray. 3rd, Open and unprotected wires were sticking out under the TV, no idea if they were liveas I didn't check, no plans of getting myself electrocuted, 4th, A hot water kettle was provided but there was no nearby outlet to plug it in, other outlets were at the back of the side table so you have to hold the kettle and support it while waiting for the water to boil, no thanks. 3. Comfort Room: Tiles have mold growth and I have no idea what that green thing stuck at the corner of the area where you put your shampoos and bath soap is ugggh dirty. ( check photo ) 4. WiFi: Intermittent, it comes and goes, not sure if it's because my room was at the end of the hallway, anyway, ended up relying more on my mobile data 5. Location: A bit far from the city proper, located in front of the ship dock/wharf, served me well though 'coz I was able to do morning runs along the port area and it was breezy 6. Food: only had the breakfast, food was mediocre I know it's a challenge to take over an old hotel so and bring it up to speed, am sure you can do better than this, cheers and looking forward to improvements on my next visit…
This is my second time to check-in in Acacia Hotel Bacolod and the service is great as always. The hotel staff are professional and friendly. The room is spacious and clean with nice toilet. I slept well at night on their comfy bed. The wifi is strong which you can watch movies and videos online. The breakfast (pancake) is delicious. I'd visit Acacia Hotel again any chances I get.
Great food, friendly staff, cozy and high-tech rooms, complete facilities, nearby malls, and everything you would ask for in your second home is famous and first-class. I enjoyed the glamour of the place and felt like a very important guest.
