Cebu Island, Philippines7 contributions3 helpful votes
Stayed here overnight booked by a friend. Since i had a long trip from Panay Island I did look forward to a good sleep since the next morning I need to head on to another long hours roadtrip to dumaguete. Got an air-conditioned room but no tv which is ok with a fair price. Noticed that the aircon is too loud for me not to sleep good during the night, I did not bother it anyway coz I wanted to lay and gain some bit of rest for the next day. Then at around 3am in the morning, I felt uneasy because of sweat. I am sweating like hell. The aircon stopped functioning! I went down to the frontdesk And let them know, it takes awhile to fix it. It already ruined my not-so-good sleep and lasted until before i checked out the room. But wait, here is the most funny thing about my stay. I supposed to get a refund of 200pesos upon checked-out. But it takes them years to figure-out if the guest is really me in that room. How silly it is?! I did booked a Grab car so l left the hostel without my refund. Got then an apology call/text from the frontdesk while I am on the road for the inconvenience which is acceptable. My 200 pesos refund is then become a prepaid 200 mobile load. Cons: the place is clean, location is not bad. Need more improvement in service and organization. Consider still to book again in this place anyhow but hoping for a better service next time.

The staff were truly pleasant. They need to make sure all facilities are working. The aircon could not keep the room cool enough..they had to change the aircon unit but still didn't work so we had to ASK to be transferred to a room. Owners can empower staff and think/decide on their feet how they can give a better service to customers. Rates are very affordable.

Stayed for 1 night during the holiday. The room is good but needs a lot of improvement, Heater is not functioning, Slow wifi connection. Toiletries has extra cost (tissue, toothbrush & toothpaste), it should be free of charge. Staff was accommodating and helpful but don't know how to smile. I wondered they were called city of smiles:-) Smile should be a part of their uniform. Overall it was a good stay and worth the budget.

From reservations of rooms to providing customer services this hotel sucks. The hotel is understaff and will lead you either waiting forever for the services to be delivered or leave the hotel without resolving your concerns. Never book on this hotel if you have any options.

Stayed here for 1 night only. We reserved a room that is good for 3pax. The room is very clean. The room has (219), 3 single beds, cable TV, hot and cold T&B and it is air conditioned. No breakfast included, but you can order at their canteen which costs 70-80php for a Filipino breakfast. The receptionists are all friendly and courteous. They also allow travelers to leave their baggage at the receptionist counter after they checkout if they still want to roam around the city and still have time before their flight. You can also ask them to call a taxi for you and they offer shuttle vans going to the airport which costs P150/pax. Extension of stay in the hotel is also available. Just add P50/hour, but only up to 4:00pm. The location is also great which is accessible going to tourist spots. We had a very comfortable stay here and we recommend it.Thumbs up!

Comfortable rooms. Quite expensive but cheaper alternatives in Bacolod are hard to find (and need to be booked in advance). Our room had aircon, Wifi, Satellite TV, Warm water... The receptionist is friendly. Breakfast costs extra.

The place was neat, well kept and very budget friendly. Room was satisfying (stayed at their Family Room). The staff are approachable. My only problems were the very limited parking space (Not recommending this to travellers with large vehicles) and our hot and cold shower which isn't working that well.

You'll never go wrong with this. We asked the taxi driver we picked up at bacolod south bus terminal to take us to a pension house near lacson street and he took us to this place. Good rate for a room for 4 people. 1,350p. With hot shower. Clean room. Just very near the lacson street sinThe only thing my partner says is that the blanket should have been thicker.
