The place is nice and decent, the staff and people around are warm and welcoming, they assist your needs, they also accept credit cards, their telephone number is functional as well, which is pretty great since I only looked up for available hotels in Bacolod. We are in Masskara festival season, and all other hotels rejected us, since they're full, but they were able to accomodate us readily. We're room 104 and it was decent as well, there are a few insects but it doesn't bother me that much, hairdryer, toiletries are available too, there's a refrigerator and a tv. They also have a packed breakfast meal which is also good, with free coffee as well. I'd like to say thank you for the staff and the owner of this hotel. You guys are doing a very great job

Pros: 1. Good location, walking distance to SM, Negros Museum, Provincial Capitol 2. Helpful & accommodating staff 3. Sufficient toiletries plus a hair dryer Cons: 1. Clogged shower drain 2. Almost all cable channels weren’t accessible 3. We had bed bug bites 4. Water pressure in the shower was too weak (we were at room 203)

Buffet breakfast was good. The smell of the room was a little bit odd. The 2 female staff at the reception were unhelpful. On my last day, i bought 3 bags of pasalubongs (which were heavy so i used both of my hands). The door was next to the reception and both of them were just sitting there, the least they can do is to open the door for me but they did not so i used my back to open it. Bedside lamp has no bulb. Extension cord with usb port is available but it was a type b plug so you still need an adapter to use it. There's a nearby club/bar near the hotel and it was loud at night. The location is not in the main street, but it's easy to find.

Location is right in the middle of town, very close to local SM mall and cathedral. Staff is very helpful and friendly. However, as other reviews have mentioned, the area is surrounded by karaoke and videoke bars that blast their music all night and morning. Staff were as exasperated with those owner and the local police come and warn the bar owners. As soon as the police are gone, the music starts up again. Again, price was right and staff was super friendly and helpful, but do not expect relief from the racket. ...wonder if the locals in the area realize they are making for bad publicity for their business.

There are sofas, chairs and tables in common rooms near guest rooms which are nice. Our room cost 1,700 Peso for 2 people. Room is showing age but ok to stay. There's a security man at the gate who opens the door for us so we feel welcomed and safe. Front Desk staff are nice. Simple buffet breakfast is included which is good enough.

small hotel but warm and attentive service breakfast came with our room - breakfast area is quite small and just a moderate buffet selection nice location - walking distance to Manokan Country (the place to eat original Chicken Inasal!) and SM Bacolod. Also walking distance is the San Sebastian Church, the Bacolod Public Plaza and a Bongbong's souvenir shop (think Piayas and other Bacolod specialty pastries)

Rooms are quite nice for the price point. Almost everything worked. Staff are good, so was breakfast. If we were hearing impaired we might have slept well but as it was, the neighborhood videoke joints kept us awake until after midnight. From the reaction of the staff this seems like a daily occurrence. Skip unless you’re noiseproof or enjoy getting up more tired than when you went to bed.

Sheets were dirty when we checked in. The restroom is so tiny and floor dirty! so many mosquitoes inside and outside our rooms!! a poor excuse of a hotel. We cannot spend another minute here so decided to just walk out and never look back. We ended up checking in another hotel nearby with WAAAAY better facilities, more welcoming ambience, much more secure environment, and cozy rooms at almost the same price we paid here! So disappointed we don’t know how this place got good ratings...

My husband & I are travelling & doing our couples road trip for 2019 to Jagna, Bohol for his Mayana Uphill Challenge. We have so far took 3 ROROs and rolled with land trips since April 20, 2019. We do not plan to stay in Bacolod but just for me to visit & see The Ruins then we will catch the Toledo RORO to Cebu. There was a minor change of plan and I have to look for a place to stay the night. While looking up, The Suites at Casa Nueva came up. I read the past positive reviews & told my husband about it plus how much it will cost us to stay. Its less P2k for a night & it is within our hotel budget plus not to mention even have our breakfast covered. I requested for a big bed, quiet room as I really want my husband to be able to sleep & rest and enable for him to be ready to drive again next day for our next destination/stop (San Carlos Port to Toledo). Janine at the reception was very helpful & accommodating. She let us have Rm 208 & it was at 2nd floor & very quiet & spacious. We have a big, comfortable bed plus one 2-seater couch in our room. Wifi service is quick & good connection. Being too hot outside, we ordered from the Cafe Nueva food for lunch. Grilled Rosemary Chicken with lemon & tomato sauce was delicious. Palate- satisfying plus price was reasonable too. This hotel is a gem and great find. Highly recommended to stay too for family.
