Old but rooms are fresh however the food are not so good. So you can go outside to try and taste the different bacolod delicacies. Location a little bit far from the town plaza and other night outs and day outs.

Front desk lady had an attitude, gave us the wrong room, and forgot to give us a keycard for electricity. She had an unfounded air of condescension. The room had water damage on the ceiling and smelled like mold. Water pressure in the bathroom was horrendous. All around bad. Not worth it. Spend the extra 250 pesos ($5) and get a much nicer spot downtown

Rooms are fairly clean and comfortable, but the place is old. No slippers. What I really didn't appreciate (as a Filipino traveler in a Filipino hotel) is there was no bidet in the bathroom, but when you ask for a water dipper (tabo) they'll tell you "ubos na po kasi limited lang po ang (tabo) namin." No apologies, no offers to get you one. "Baka po sa umaga meron na kasi baka isoli na po yung isa." Like, how much does it cost to have enough water dippers for your guests?

Nice location, everything is accessible, from public transportation to commercial establishments like fast food restaurants, banks and pharmacy . However , the room I stayed in needs to be renovated as well as the hallways. The elevator malfunctioned when I was about to get in it after breakfast, good thing the Maintenance Staff was at the Front Desk that time. Whenever I placed a request like changing the towels or checking the TV, it takes more than 20 minutes and several follow up. What stands out are the price and the location of the hotel.

We would have given this hotel a "very good" rating, but two things that we did not like too much: that there was no queen bed, and that the water shortage must have made the shower and sink water turn blackish and water stopped for a few hours! The WiFi did not work on the 5th floor! The personnel working in this hotel are very friendly, helpful, great in service that they went out of their way to try to provide us with water in big buckets when it stopped. We did "shower" and cleaned up. The free breakfast was okay, the coffee was very good! Not par for "our usual western standard" but all in all we had very nice and restful sleep for 3 nights!

Room Tip: This hotel is dated, so it is fair to ask for the rooms away from the main street-the south side!

Maybe this hotel was a 3-star when it first opened. But it is definitely not a 3-star now as this hotel is not maintained well. Don’t stay here. For the same price or a little higher, you can find a better hotel. It is not a pleasant experience when you end up having to kill at least 10 cockroaches (small as they may be) in the bathroom from the time of arrival up to the morning of check out (stayed 3 nights). Aircon is noisy but at least it cooled the room. No complimentary water in the room. Hallway has a smell. No toiletries except for 2 small pieces of soap and a maybe a bottle of shampoo. No hairdryer. For a standard deluxe room, we had free breakfast for 2. The standard matrimonial room good for 2 that our friends stayed at only came with 1 free breakfast. Staff at reception were nice and courteous and always asked if we wanted the room cleaned when we left for the day. We did tell the staff the morning of our 2nd day when they asked if we would have the room cleaned that the bathroom had cockroaches. This hotel has probably seen better days.. needs major improvement.

This hotel offers value for money with its interiors, room comfort, and great location. The complimentary buffet breakfast is better than others in the same rate. The lobby is impressive with the grand sraircase. The best thing is its location, you can stroll at night and enjoy Bacolod's sights and sounds, with the government center just a few minutes away. However if you're looking for strong wifi connection, they don't have it even if you request assistance and inform them about it.

I stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago and so disappointed with the room. It wasn't tidy, a bit smelly and towels are filthy. Most staff are friendly and kind, that's the good thing. The food is also disappointing! Will never stay in this hotel again.Sorry.

I was invited to attend a seminar held in this hotel. When I entered the hotel, the ambiance doesn't feel cozy, rather it feels gloomy. The room were we had conference was ok. The food... Not a big fan of their food, especially their sandwich. My verdict: this place is perfect if you have no other choice to have your business meetings/conference. But as much as possible, try to get a better hotel that has better facilities and more accessible and has better food.
