As expected, this hotel has all angles covered. From the quick check-in to the cushy corridor carpeting to the spotless rooms, one can anticipate a comfortable stay although some may find the pillows somewhat lacking in heft. With a wonderful view of the capitol lagoon, our room was the perfect base from which to experience the Bacolaodiat celebration just outside the hotel entrance. Hotel staff are courteous and quick to respond to our needs. Best of all, its location is simply hard to beat.

Safety protocols are well observed. Convenient and accessible to since it is next to the provincial capitol. Safe and secured.
Transport service is very convenient at competitive prices.
Staff are courteous and accommodating. Every room gets a free alcohol and disinfection spray that you can carry along as well as face mask and gloves.u

Stayed here a few times but the first since the hotel has been completed.
Check in was excellent. My suite was big by Seda standards and there was a good Woking area. Staff were efficient and when I complained about only cold water in the bathroom they immediately attended and sorted things out. I thinks it’s a case of running the water for 15 minutes or so. Room nicely furnished. Comfortable bed.
Nice happy hour on the rooftop bar - great free nibbles for guests. The food is good here also - I can recommend the chicken quesadillas. Indoor or outdoor seating. Pleasantly impressed.
Breakfast needs looking at by F&B.

My wife and i decided to come back with our kids for our 3rd visit in Bacolod. We were given rooms on the 2nd floor despite our request for a higher floor -even asked the lobby guards if the hotel is full which they said the opposite.
We were sad not been able to see the familiar faces who served us graciously during our past stays.Seemed that employee turnover in this hotel is fast considering hotel is still pretty new , i guess not even 3 years? We missed the caring service of the staff before particularly at the lobby reception.We tried to ask for the lady hotel manager who went beyond her managerial duties helping us with the perfect itinerary before but sadly, we were told that she left already. She was the reason why we chose to book again in Seda due to the heartfelt service extended to us that we promised to return this year.My wife also observed that there were no visible managers nor supervisors during our recent stay as we only saw a bunch of young staff who obviously needs professional guidance.
I don't usually put on reviews but i just felt i needed to make one this time to express our disappointment on the level of service which seemed to have downgraded.Staff chit chatting at the lobby and even at the restaurant seemed to be a norm. Rooms were not as clean as we found hair strands on the bathroom floor and sink.The black marble top on top of the mini fridge was heavily stained. We mentioned our comments upon checkout and hope these were all relayed to the room cleaners responsible or better yet the one in-charge of housekeeping group.Our 10yr old son even saw a candy wrapper tucked at the side of the bed.TV remote also is a challenge to use that you have to point it on a specific angle to work when changing channels. Hope you can improve on your service and train your staff well just like before so you won't lose loyal customers like us. Still , location being near the new ayala mall and various restaurants remains a strength of this hotel, but SADLY not anymore the service.

Stayed for 10 days, reservation done via phone with no problems, checked in late very quick, room stay extended 2x was accomodated, all the staff very helpful. Room was cleaned per request, some days trash liners were not replaced, towels incomplete, no shampoo, but can easily call room service and all requests were brought up. very pleasant stay. highly recomended!

The hotel is clean and generally efficient. Staff try hard to accommodate guests. The new year's eve buffet was of a good standard, and we all enjoyed it. The NYE countdown party was also well organized, and we liked the fact that it was kept "exclusive", ie. It was not overcrowded.
2. The not so good.
The literature for the countdown party was misleading, cocktails are DRINKS, not food.
We had room service dinner in our room on Jan 1. Everything was served cold, the soup, the pasta, the pizza - everything!
At breakfast this morning, at 9.00 there were no baked beans, after asking twice, I was finally told you had run out.

Front desk poor check in experience. Not helpful at all. "We are fully booked is their excuse fro everything.
Restaurant experience: I ordered a glass of wine during dinner. When it was served it tasted stale, like the bottle has been open for a long time so I requested it to be replaced. They replaced it. They open the bottle in front of me and served the wine. After a few sips of win I felt that my lip got caught in the glass. When I looked at it, there was a chip in the wine glass which caused a wound on my lips. I informed the waiter regarding this and complained. The only solution they did was the offered the bottle of wine to me FOC. No apology on the incident. Nothing. I also informed the front desk about the incident when I checked out. There was no apology what so ever from re restaurant manager. They thought that offering a bottle of wine for free was good enough. The incident for me was handled poorly. Very disappointing.
Bath towels are old. Needs replacement.

They have ongoing repainting and repairs of their hotel.
They don't have readily available steam iron in the room or maybe its available upon request and might charged you extra. 😉
Food was great and wide selections. There are times that they forget to serve you coffee.

I won’t stay anywhere else in Bacolod. I’ve tried other places but nothing else in town compared to Seda
The location is great and I’ve always been fortunate to get a room with a view of the lagoon and capitol. The sleep quality is great with good quality mattress and bedding. The bath, while not large is modern and well appointed. I wish they would provide better quality bath towels but that is a minor thing.
The breakfast is good quality with lots of choices. For westerners there is an egg station with great omelettes and the bacon and hash browns are plentiful. The service throughout our stay was excellent. We also love the food and views from the Straight Up Bar on the roofdeck.
This hotel is not perfect. The hallway noise can get a little loud. The driver for the car service had terrible English and struggled to find our destination and for some reason the laundry service tried to make one of my coworkers pay cash when they delivered his laundry. However, my rating is relative to other hotels in the city and Seda is far and away the best
