The staff are so attentive and friendly. There is nothing they won't do for you. The Manager, Frecklish, is so accommodating. They made our holiday an experience to remember. The pool is so clear and the restaurant serves delicious food. The rooms are clean and it has its in private beach and jetty if you wish to dive or go island hopping. Just the right size. Many hotels in Mactan are so big you will feel lost. Been twice now and planning again to return next year with family 👪

Firstly, the staff here are lovely and friendly. The food is amazing, particular care was taken wurh my allergy. The rooms are clean and tidy. They give you bottled water, some items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton bids and soap. The pool is great and views amazing. No real beach to speak of though. What I didn't like were the many rules. We had a two bed room with kitchen but there were no utensils to cook with. Plus you pay for gas and are charged if you bring wine, beer or food into the hotel. I understand they have a restaurant but this does not make sense. The location is a bit off the beaten track but did not worry us as we needed down time, but you do feel confined in the space. It's not a bad place but you need to think about what you need from this part of Lapu Lapu. …

We moved to this venue after a disastrous week at larger corporate hotel which was too noisy. The Nordtropic is a beautiful venue, with its own beach, and very large spacious rooms. The food is high quality, with a good mix of western and asian options on the menu. Very reasonably priced too. The pool area is pristine, a great infinity pool with plenty of sunbeds and space to relax. From the hotel you can book all the water sports available in the bay around Mactan Island. Really peaceful location. Thoroughly recommend.

First impressions are very good although a lot of in-house rules. Staff very helpful. On site bar & restaurant. lovely infinity pool looking down onto the private beach. we booked a suite which was simple but spacious with all the comforts you need + free water, & WiFi. The restaurant has a wonderful dinner menu and i would recommend the baked Lapu Lapu (aka Groper), however the breakfast spread does leave something to be desired. The Air-con in the room was very noisy as was, what i believed, to be the generator that started when power cuts occurred- which was often - at the same time the emergency lighting came on in the rooms - which was very bright. All in all a nice place to stay

Could not fault this place - conveniently located 15 mins from the airport, next to the sea. Free unlimited water bottles are provided in the room and at check in. The breakfast is included and also delicious - including fresh orange juice and fluffy pancakes! Staff really helpful and kind, and went over and above to help us - including letting us check in early and also helping me when I got stung by jellyfish! Rooms clean, beds comfortable and spacious. The garden and pool space is really beautiful and relaxing. All round a short but wonderful stay!

Not the easiest place to find but our driver (White metered taxi) from airport did, took about 15-20 minutes & really needed to watch for signs along the road, almost missed the last sign. It was about 9 pm but no problem checking in. We had a Studio Room with a view of the lot in front of the hotel & only 1 minute walk to the pool & restaurant. Large, clean room with soft Queen bed, nice couch for sitting, table, two chairs, large TV with a few English channels, kettle, tea/coffee, fridge with several water bottles already cold inside. Also has an anteroom with closet & more rooms for bags. The bathroom is larger with shower next to toilet (wet floor type). They do not clean the room without asking or dropping off the key which was okay with us. The room was well stocked with extras & we only had to ask for some more water. Nice pool with view of water, islands & boats, part is shallow & part deep (>2 metres). There is a small beach in front of the hotel wall but nobody used it. The restaurant is adjacent with inside & outside seating. The breakfast buffet was a mix of Philippine & Western items with egg station & we enjoyed all items we had. There are a couple small local stores nearby but you can walk to a Save-More Supermarket, about 10 minutes away down the small street immediately to the left of the hotel. Also a McDonald's & some other shopping across the street. There are other larger & more expensive hotels in the area but this might be the best value if you want a place with the view of the water. We went here after an extended week on Bantayan Island… and it was great. Well-appointed comfortable rooms, clean pool and great restaurant (pricey) and superb staff. Staff was the best experience for sure. Location is a bit off if you want to go into “town” or eat ewlsewhere.

I was just stopping over in Cebu for a night so I needed a place to stay. Found this place online. Though it’s 40 minutes from the airport, I booked the place because it is cheap and the pool looks beautiful in the photo and besides I have loads of time to travel. The place is a little gem in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City. The service was very good, the place is clean and the breakfast which comes with the accomodation is great! There are neigbouring restaurants if you do not want to eat at the hotel. If you are on a tight budget there is AA nearby where you can get very good food at a reasonable price. Taxi is not a problem as the hotel can arrange a Grab a Cab for you. I am definitely coming back to this place. I forgot to mention the pool. So the pool is facing the see and is close to the restaurant. Very relaxing if you have time to kill.…

If you wish to have peace and quiet - away from huge crowds, this is the place for you. The two-bedroom unit is fit for a family. It is spacious and accommodates 4 adults. There is however only one toilet and shower room. Unit features a kitchen and a living room. No TVs inside two bedrooms. Rooms as we found it is clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet good and dinner possibilities were satisfactory.
