Ive been a regular guest since 2011. In that time, the cerise and maintenance of the rooms has gone downhill. Checked in 11/30/2017. since arriving:- 1) internet not working 2) aircon needed servicing 3) room uncleaned 4) laundry MIA do yourself a favor, don't stay here. it maybe be cheap but as the saying goes " you get what you pay for" There is no visible management or supervision in place.

I think the original concept of the place was good, but over the years (decade/s maybe) its upkeep, obviously, has been disappointingly neglected... sayang. The units/rooms were a good size with kitchenette, large ref, a stove and also pans and utensils but you wouldn't want to use them. A much-needed refurbishing would be a good move for the owners to consider. The property is pretty large and dust is all over the place : from the entrance stairs to the lobby to the hallways to the rooms to everywhere... The staff was helpful and friendly but it would do much if they underwent a training...

So I ended up here after missing my flight and needing to stay an extra near the airport. So proximity to the airport is really good...that's just about the only advantage of this place. This is a condo complex with about three different operators - SDR being one of them. So expect a mix of unfinished units, some actual residents and the actual rooms for let all mixed in together. Dodgy. Rooms are big with actual living room and kitchen per unit. Basics are there too, cable and Wifi (though I didnt bother to log-in because I was too tired to go all the way down to reception to get a password....because there was no house phone suystem to communicate with them). Cleanliness and maintenance issues is an issue all throughout the experience...bordering on gross really. There were flies buzzing around my unit, mold and mildew on the bathroom walls, a broken shower partition and clogged drains. Cobwebs here and there and stained sheets. Dark hallways that smelled of cement dust and the rancid odor of home cooking thrown in. At about $40 US...it wasnt realky much of a bargain either. In short, it will do in a pinch. But to purposely stay here would be a major mistake.

This place is dodgy as hell, it's a block of apartments with a few random apartments with signs saying SDR on them. The building is very run down nothing like the photos (it looks like a different place) reception not helpful and looked shady. The gas in the kitchen made a loud noise every 5 mins. The room was swelteringly hot and even when we turned the air con on was not cold. Door didn't lock properly and no safe, which considering the rough area and the fact it's not private rentals was a issue Room very dirty (soap scum all over mirrors and bathroom) no toilet paper. We moved to a another hotel and paid a extra $50 to move and stay somewhere else. If you want something in the budget of $30 you will need to go into cebu city or pay more for a nicer property near the airport. As I suspect these are unlicensed sublets.
