This place is family operated. From the moment I arrived until I checked out for my flight, which is a very short distance to the airport, we were welcomed and treated with kindness. The breakfast was so delicious. It was a home cooked meal and the portions were generous. There is a 7-eleven within walking distance at the corner to the right. The hotel is adjacent to a main road which makes catching a white taxi to the airport rather easy. Wonderful people, wonderful hotel.
Very good location in Mactan Island if you stay over for 1 or 2 nights. Nice place, very clean and the family who own the hotel is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good. I recommend this place!
We wanted a place to stay near the airport that we could stay in just before our flight the next day. It was rated very good for the 1467 peso price including breakfast. That rating was is far from the truth? Big welts from bug bites on my back to ants on mon the sink with no mirror on the wall made night miserable. To top it off the breakfast was so bad we wouldn’t eat it. Parking was horrendous and in the morning very dangerous to leave the place due to the non stop traffic. ThThe rooms are dirty, and the internet is very slow. Need I say more! We have stayed in pension houses in Cebu City for 700 pesos that are much better.
We stayed at this hotel after we arrived on a Red-Eye into Cebu. This is a great place for a short stay if you need a room to crash at before heading to your "expensive" resort. The property is little older, but clean and comfortable. The proprietors are very friendly, and one staff member went out of their way to help us get a taxi to our resort on a rainy day when taxis were hard to get.
I stayed here with a friend one night and then 3 nights alone completing my scuba license. The atmosphere in this hotel is so relaxed. The decor has such a personal touch with trinkets collected from all over the world. The rooms are basic yet extremely clean and comfortable. The service provided by the family who run this hotel is personable, hands-on yet not over bearing. It was absolutely perfect. The breakfasts that were provided were filling and enjoyable. It was a real home from home. This was the best place I stayed in during my year in Asia. Many thanks to the whole family who looked after me so well.
Wish i could give this hotel 10 stars. The staff treats you like family and takes such good care of all your needs. Room has everything you need, good wifi, hot showers, international tv channels, close to airport and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!
We stayed there only for one night as we had flight at Cebu Mactan Airport the next day..is near to the airport but it depends on road traffic how many minutes you need (about 20 minutes we did)..the staff was very friendly and helpful, they carry our baggage to our room (was on 1st floor and there is not elevator), they call a taxi for us to go to Cebu and ask the price, so and next morning they call a taxi for the airport..we left early in the morning, so we cannot have review for the breakfast..room was big, with a double bed and good bathroom..there is a little noise from road but not very annoying..we'ii stay again if we are on Mactan.
Picked this hotel due to their review. I was with my 2 daughters (14 and 1 yr old). The room and toilet are very clean and good value for money. Staff and owner (managed) are friendly and accommodating. It is nearby grocery store where you can buy anything, drugstore, food, and ATM. However, kindly take note that there’s no lift. If you have heavy luggages and you don’t need them, kindly ask the owner to look after it and leave it at ground floor. The suite has only 2 floors (I suspect this is a proper house before and converted to an inn). We were at room 5, it was clean but we were unfortunate that the aircon is noisy. I have to turn it down to level down the noise :( I didn’t have time to inform the owner as I was so tired from the trip with my baby on hand. I guess this is more suitable for those easy goin travelers - not with infant.…
We stayed there for one night after landing on Cebu Mactan Airport. It's around 200 PHP to get there by taxi from/to airport. Staff is really friendly. Next day, owner offered to take us to the airport when the taxi wasn't arriving. Room was ok with AC working. Next to supermarket and 7-eleven. Rather not for longer stays as there's not much to do around.
Centro Mactan Suites is managed and owned by a family. They take care of the reception and the mini restaurant where they serve breakfast. (I dont think they serve lunch and dinner.) The owners are kind enough to let us check in early as our flight from Manila was at 4:55 AM and we arrived at 6:30 AM at the Mactan-Cebu airport. (Flight delay) The standard room we stayed in is just adequate for 2 people. The bed is comfy enough but the pillows are not. There are 2 pillows that are very thin for my liking. The AC is quite new and the room was cold. The TV is small and the channels of the TV cable are at minimum. The bathroom is quite new, so two thumbs up for that :) there is a bidet and heater. No complains for the bathroom and toilet. There is a lounge area outside our room so thats great if you want to leave the room once in a while. The location is not bad, since there’s a 7-11 nearby and it is walking distance to some restaurants. Only downside is that you can hear the noisy vehicles in the room and the price is a bit high for its class but overall, it is a good place to stay. …
