Our experienced in this trip 3days 2n4ight (Fri - Sun) , Problem : 1. Restaurant : Without reservation hard to get dine in at Cowrie Cove : Only can sit at the bar for dinner. Finally I had my dinner with IN-room dining.Which is still acceptable. 2. Look for spa/massage Saturday noon time: Been told that was fully booked. 3. Not Operating: Chinese restaurant and most inhouse facilities are Not operating now with No notice on the website or while you're booking. 4. The soundproofing of the room is poor, and the sound in the corridor can be heard, which interferes with sleep. Suggest: If there's only limited service and need reservation in Advance always, you may give a warm intro and remind to your guest in Advance too. GOOD things: 1. The staff is all kind and nice 2. The snorkelling and fish feeding experienced is really good with the fish feeding.

I have always been a shangri-La Baby ever since when i was young. If i could remember back in 1999, every memory of my visit was still clear. My father loves shangri-La and if i could remember every year has been a routine to visit this beautiful resort. Since then, it has been a routine for my family as well to always check in. I must say Shangri-La indeed has been consistent since then. Their dedication to their Social Responsibility has truly been exquisite. From Service, to Presentation and to Dedication. I always feel at home every time i visit this place. I am currently checking in and i know shangrila usually has their in-room or internal reviews but i guess this deserves to be placed here in public — so everyone can read this because they deserve this much. Their dedication has been existing for a long time now. I want to thank Kat of the reservations department for being so welcoming and accommodating via phone call. Reservation process was as fast as within 3 minutes. That’s what you call sustainability. It saved me time. Thank you, Miss Kat. I also like to thank Lorea Ibarlucea of Front Office for being very welcoming upon check in. She made sure everything was perfect for valentines and check in was fast and smooth even when it was a very busy weekend. Thats what you call sincerity. I also like to thank Everyone in tides — so many people i cannot name. I remember Eloise, the staff handling the bills or the cashier for her dedication despite being busy. Multitasking here and there — that’s service and dedication. I’m always overwhelmed by the service — that i really want more and will surely come back again and again and again, always. I went to Shangrila Mactan today to book in advance for Feb 13, 2021. After confirming what rooms and the rate. I decided to pay ahead 12,275 php. I used my debit card after entering the pin, Abegail got the machine and said Oops it turned off. She said the transaction didn't go through. I checked my BDO app it shows it went through and my balance was deducted. She called BDO and confirmed the transaction went through, she assured me that she will send me the confirmation number and email. Later, that Finance head informed Abegail that I need to pay again. I called BDO customer service and asked them a couple of times and they confirmed my payment went through to Shangrila. The BDO customer service talked to Astrud Shangrila duty manager that the transaction went through. Now they still want me to pay again as it didn't reflect on their end. Was it my Fault that happened when in fact it was Abegail's fault now you want to hassle me by going to the bank to file a dispute? and you want me to pay again?

This is a review of my event experience (Wedding) in Shangri-La Mactan. My wife and I are pleased, impressed, and thankful that we chose Shangri-La Mactan Ocean Pavilion for our wedding reception and availed of the Wedding Package, which was the best decision ever since we made most of the service 360 degrees, all things covered. We highly recommend getting their Wedding Package for anyone getting married and plans to have it in Shangri-La Mactan. We both like how accommodating from the inquiry to booking or confirmation of the event to the event's week to check-in up until check-out. Everything was perfect for us and we like how you customized some of the things for us. Mara Liboro has helped and assisted us from the start after Elyn Dabon Ramses referred me to her. It was effortless, very smooth, and convenient for working with her. We like how she is always straight to the point and immediately responds to my queries, including email, SMS, or phone call. The good thing about it is that I am also familiar with how Shangri-La Events work, so it was too easy for me. We synced that we only had lesser emails and SMS before the week of the event since everything was already in place, thanks to Mara. One of the things that make Shangri-La Mactan unique for us is the feeling of being safe whenever we are in the hotel. The Shangri-La Cares initiative is very impressive, especially when my wife is in the medical field, being a doctor. We always feel safe whenever we are here, especially during the pandemic, which we wanted it to be for our wedding guests to feel. The safety protocols were strictly followed on the resort's end. Being the couple, we felt safe for our guests during the lunch reception. Plus, all suppliers are strictly required to submit a document or clearance that they are all safe and cleared. I would like to highly commend Mara Liboro and her team for the exemplary service to us from the start up until check-out. We would also like to commend the front office staff, specifically Saira Legaspi, who assisted us upon arrival and our booking when we were at the lobby and helping me with the concierge on my packages on where it needs to be sent at the specific venues within Shangri-La Mactan. To Maam Veronika, the front office manager as well. Great job to all of them! We left one coin that was part of our "aras" or "wedding coins" at the hotel. I am thankful that the housekeeping team found it, and Maam Maetet kept it on her ID sleeve up until I got it after two days. I was immediately informed of it when the manager-on-duty found it. We would also like to commend our wedding butler, Gretchen. She was also the best butler we have experienced and helped my wife throughout the wedding day. She was also on point whenever we have requested and remembers all the details of us. She made things easy for us, most especially physically, as my wife needed a lot of assistance at the resort during the wedding day. Thanks again so much, Shangri-La Mactan team, for being a part of our lives and making our wedding day and stay one of the best experiences we had.
