Is close to the airport so is convienent. I happened to be there during a time of high alert and tensions; however, the staff was always smiling and you would hardly know of the concerns. The rooms were clean, and comfortable. Not much of a view as is mostly forest growing; but is best to travel to Cebu which is very short taxi ride away. Meals were in a seperate building, just next door. Was actually nice to walk across the driveway to it. Waity staff were always pleasent and happy to assist. Booked rooms via fax, but they seemed to have lost fax by time I got there.. Rooms were still available though.. I would happily stay there again..

While some reviews of this hotel have been negative, our experience was largely positive.

We were picked up by the free hotel shuttle and driven a bit over a kilometre to the hotel. Walking is not recommended as part of the route lacks a footpath.

The hotel reception desk is too small and checkin was not fast, but the lift (elevator) worked well and soon had us walking along the carpeted corridor.

For under P2500 including breakfast, our room was more than adequate with two double beds, cable TV and a functional if relatively small bathroom. There was no in room safe which was annoying but safety deposit box facilities were available at reception, although not 24 hours a day as 'only the Manager knows how to do it' according to a staff member.

The only strange design was that the bathroom's handbasin was outside the bathroom door in a small area that was carpeted like the main room: not good design for a wet area.

There was no bath, only a shower.

Breakfast was served quickly at 0645 for us as we had to checkin for a flight. In the evening, we enjoyed excellent icecream at the same hotel cafe.

A large percentage of the guests appeared to be pilots and airline hostesses from Cebu Pacific and other airlines.

Generally, its a good hotel, convenient as it is very near the airport and a mall is also walking distance. However, the hotel did not even bother to look into my request and they only browse through my request upon checking in. Is it because the hotel is assured of my payment whatever happens as I booked my stay there online. I felt bad about this and was disappointed. Their shuttle service is also very good though I noticed that the driver puts in water every now and then to keep the radiator from overheating. Its good that the airport is near thus we did not experience overheating of the car.

We, my husband and I, were booked at Days Hotel thru Palakbayan, Mar 5-7, 2006. We were so excited because this was the first time we would be staying at days hotel, we have been to Cebu but stayed in other hotels, shangri-la Mactan, Waterfront both in the city and near the airport, cebu midtown hotel. But to our shock, our stay with days hotel was very dissapointing. To start of, we arrived at Cebu airport at 8:45am, we were waiting for hotel's pick up, but to no avail all passenger were gone and we were left behind waiting. So i called the hotel asking for Mr. Edmund Valencia (contact person) but he wasn't there and ask if they would pick us up. So they ask for us to wait. We waited around 15-20 mins. So very disappointing. When we arrived at the hotel everything went okay. We were assigned to room 511, the highest and farthest of all the rooms in the hotel. Mar.6 came and we were going to eat breakfast, at "Oh Restaurant", we gave the waiter the breakfast coupon and the waiter gave us the choices for our breakfast, after ordering, relaxing, the waiter came back telling us that we are under palakbayan so we have a set breakfast which was 2 slice of toasted bread slice into half with cheese and 4pcs of watermelon. I really didn't know that there would be a difference in the breakfast if your under palakbayan. We also went to boracay using palakbayan and the service was excellent and the breakfast wasn't different from the other guests. That morning during breakfast i felt bad because you treated other guests and palakbayan guest differently. We wouldn't have learned about days hotel if not because of palakbayan. I didn't say anything, i beared it with me. But on Mar 7, that was it. Our flight to manila was 5:30pm PR850, we ask the front dest what time we would go to the airport, the miss said around 4:30pm. We stayed at the lobby since 4pm waiting for them to tell us when to leave for the airport. 4:30pm came, still no sign, but i still kept reminding them. 4:45pm came, i was so mad at this point, i ask the front desk personel were is the service to the airport, she said that the service went to the airport to fetch some guest. All the time we were waiting at the lobby since 4pm and the service went without us. The fact was the staff wasn't organized, they didn't know that their were guest leaving and arriving. At last 4:48pm the driver came and sent us off, when we arrive at the airport we were so in a hurry, we made it by nick of time. The plane was already boarding when we arrived. If
I had an heart problem, I would have been dead due to the pressure and inconvenience that i have experience in your hotel. Thank you but no thank you.

We were supposed to Stay at Days Hotel but when we arrived the Guard on Duty told us that the Hotel is already closed. Since April 8, 2016. He pointed us to Goldberry Suites. This is for those who have paid bookings.

I had a feeling already that there was something wrong as when i re checked tge rates of Days in Agoda. No results appeared for the hotel for a number of months.

NOTE: For all those who have paid booking with Days Hotel Mactan. Proceed to Goldberry Suites along ML Quezon. Just across Bellavista Hotel.

My boyfriend came to visit me last December. We were so excited and we were expecting a lot from days hotel to give us a good service. When we were in Days Hotel, my boyfriend was always pissed off with their card key. There were times when he was exhausted and ready to hit the bed but instead of doing so, he had to go down at the lobby to complain about the card key which is not working. The card key was a very disappointing problem. It did not only happen once. Also, when my boyfriend has to leave already, the person in-charge at the front desk asked him to pay extra money, which was not clearly explained. What else can we do?! we just payed for the extra money so as to catch the plane. why do you guys have to ask the customers for extra fees when they are already in a hurry to leave? so frustrating.

We had no choice but to stay in this hotel because we were booked by Cebu Pacific Air in compensation for our canceled flight. Although it is very accessible to the airport, the hotel looks really old. The wifi connection is poor and their telephone lines are broken down. Other hotel staffs are friendly and some are obviously commenting and talking behind our backs. I don't care what they are talkin about. Anyway in general, there are other options when you want to stay near Mactan Airport. Better not stay here.

Had my flight canceled and since I was too tired to wait for the next flight which I had a low chance of getting into, opted for the flight the following day. Pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Despite Cebu Pac's notoriety of being a cheapskate, this was a relatively comfy stay. Despite the place looking aged the staff more than makes up for this with their very amicable hospitality. The food was also pretty good. Wish they had bidets though, but this is an inconvenience I find in most hotels.

Stayed for a night…good place to stay if you have an early flight out since its only about 15 mins away from the airport and they do offer shuttle service.

Staff were friendly..but tend to give wrong information about their hotel. When we checked in I specifically asked what time is their last call for the spa/massage in the room, I was told it was 11 pm. However called the front desk to ask for someone to come in the room for a massage at 10:30 pm but was told that massage service is available only until 10 pm. Wrong information too with regard to the time their restaurant stays open.

Location - near the hotel..a block away from a Starbucks and grocery and Zubochon (at the Island Stay Hotel and there is one about to open near the grocery)

The hotel is old and is in need of a fresh coat of paint (at the very least)…must have been considered as 4 or 5 stars in the '70s…the price we paid was at par with newer boutique hotels…

I was a bit worried before I booked this hotel because of some of the negative reviews, how wrong I was. When I arrived at the airport a Days car was there waiting to take me to the hotel. When I arrived we were shown to our rooms which were very well presented.

In the morning we arrived for breakfast which again was excellent, as well as the evening meal, all served from their restaurant next to the hotel FULLY air-conditioned.

The place really has a lot of character, they have birds that gather just outside and there are plenty of places to go and shop or sightsee around the hotel.

I really can't think of anything negative to say about this hotel, if you had any doubts before reading this review, I hope that I have now made them disappear.

You can contact the hotel directly to address your concern. Some hotels allow early check in ,while others do not. Maybe it depends on the availability of rooms. Thanks.
