We recently spent an unforgettable 2-night staycation at Belmont Hotel Mactan, and it exceeded our expectations in every way!

Location: Perfectly situated near Cebu International Airport—just a quick Grab ride costing 4-500 PHP.
Staff: Friendly, efficient, and professional. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free.
Rooms: Modern, stylish, and meticulously clean. Housekeeping kept the rooms spotless, providing two complimentary bottles of water daily—a thoughtful touch.
Facilities: Excellent shower with good water pressure, a fridge to keep drinks cool, and a comfortable bed and pillows ensuring restful sleep.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They dressed very professional as well. The sea view rooms are great! The pool was a nice place to hang out and have a few drinks as they had a bar at the pool. The restaurant food was good, but I thought the breakfast was a little overpriced. Room service was fast and good. I was there for 10 days so I had the Hotel do 7 days' worth of laundry and they did a great job washing and folding my clothes and delivered them back to my room, this only cost 9 US dollars. The hotel is close to a private beach, and it was nice also, they had food and drinks available there as well. The Hotel is walking distance to many fast-food restaurants and sit-down restaurants. It is also close to drug stores, grocery store, 7-11 and money exchange. This is the perfect spot for foreigners. Very clean area and streets. There is a lot of construction going on, but it never bothered me, it's nice to see an area growing. I will surly stay here on my next visit.

Newer hotel which is fresh and clean and has great air conditioning in room. Small rooms at 25sq mtr but feel smaller Fridge appears to be only a cooler and not a refrigerator as milk went sour. Good housekeeping staff and hotel location is OK, short walk to Supermarket, Chemist, McDonalds, 2 x 7-Elevens and various restaurants. Hotel offers an Asian style buffet breakfast which is very ordinary and the dinner menu is limited. Swimming pool is easily accessible with small steps to enter with a maximum height of lower chest level. Also has a great kids pool. Plenty of staff, although was not told you need to push a button from Red to Green so that the room is cleaned each day. Room has really good wi-fi included and location is well served by GRAB for transport and food deliveries. Hotel did not respond to a number of inquiries before arrival regarding Airport transfer, so arranged our own as close to airport. There probably is better value for room cost, but if looking for a room with great air conditioning, very good wi-fi with an easily accessible swimming pool this hotel fits the bill. After I booked and reading Trip Advisor where a large number of reviews were from 1st time reviewers that may indicate staff are paid a bonus to leave a positive review, I was a pleasantly surprised during my 8 night stay. If the breakfast was improved and the dinner menu upgraded the Hotel would be rated at least a 4 star despite the smallish rooms.

We’ve been misinformed. We called before booking to see if their sauna is available and functional and they confirmed it’s available for in-house guests. So we went ahead and booked 2 nights. Lo and behold, after making the booking online and paying for it in full, we have been informed that their sauna is undergoing maintenance and it’s been going on for 2 weeks now. When I asked why we’ve been advised wrongly, the receptionist said it could be that a new staff assisted us on our inquiry. Their Facebook in-charge sent a message that only their Female Sauna is under maintenance so we felt relieved. After checking in, we went to see the sauna and we have been told onsite that the Male Sauna is under maintenance and only the Female Sauna is available! They’ve blocked us on FB messenger as well. Apparently, this hotel’s management is uncoordinated, badly organized and lacks training. It’s a shame as they brand themselves as a world class hotel chain. Misinformation is a reflection of poor customer service and it’s unfortunate we’re getting a blow by blow hit with one thing I guess this hotel is good at— lying.

Our visit was off to a rough start although the hotel was clean with friendly staff.
After checking in, we tried to schedule a canyoneering excursion with concierge who was very professional but when he called the tour company to make arrangements, the tour company increased the price of the excursion even though the flier clearly stated a lower price! The concierge was so apologetic but we ended up purchasing excursion online.
We proceeded to our room which was clean but lacked closet space and counter space in the bathroom. Don’t forget your shampoo & conditioner because the ones they provide barely lather up and conditioner seemed like it was lotion.
The food was lacking in the restaurant & room service, which was the same exact menu. I recommend ordering a local dish, not pasta or salad. Their bread seemed stale as well.
The highlight of my visit at Belmont was their seamstress, Ralyn and one of the front desk employees, Mae!
I asked front desk for a seamstress. Most did not understand what a seamstress was but thankfully Mae overheard and inquired about my needs. She efficiently called Ralyn and described the nature of my repair. Mae took ownership of my situation and offered to take my skirt that needed to be repaired to the seamstress, Ralyn. After a couple of minutes both gals came back. Ralyn reviewed some options on how to repair and the price. To my surprise Ralyn fixed my skirt and made it look new! I was impressed with the quick turnaround (overnight) since the repair was not an easy one! I was elated and offered to tip her. She said she just wanted to make sure I was pleased with her work. Somewhat a simple transaction but I wanted to recognize how Mae’s efficiency & willingness to take ownership as well as Ralyn’s skills (my repair was a difficult one that she made look new again) and her sincere desire to make sure I was pleased with her beautiful work! The first day I arrived at the hotel, because our flight was canceled, the airline rented a hotel for us to stay for 1 night. Entering the hotel, I was impressed with the receptionist who spoke very well and in great detail, but when it was my turn, a female receptionist, the first thing a receptionist should do is smile, but she had a very unpleasant attitude towards customers, she only gave us the room key, wifi and breakfast voucher. As for the remaining amenities such as the bar or swimming pool, or breakfast time, she didn't say anything, while the group next to us checked in, the guy next to us told us very specifically and in detail. After arranging the room, we went in a group of 3 people, but you arranged a room with 2 single beds and it was very small, we said and you changed to a room of 4 or added 1 more room. She was very unpleasant, her attitude was obvious to us, saying she would add 1 more bed, I would be very willing if it was a room with 1 bed and spacious, while it was very small. We ask you to cross out the name and print the photocopier very strongly, I do not like high-class hotels but the staff has such an attitude towards customers. Meanwhile, all the staff greet the customers. The female receptionist is unpleasant with customers while the receptionist is the first person to contact when coming to the hotel.

Belmont Mactan Hotel is a definitely a good choice for a quick overnight staycation with the whole family. They have an indoor swimming pool and a access to Mactan Newton Beach. They have budget friendly rates. I book 4 rooms got each one at a rate of P 3,200 that includes already buffet breakfast for two and access to all their amenities and Mactan Newton Beach. Plus to my delight they went an extra mile to upgrade our rooms to sea view. Front desk receptionist Resha was so accomodating and friendly and was quick to answer to all of my requests. The rest of the front desk staff was very courteous and always had wore a smile. It was a lovely experienceto stay at Belmont. Looking forward to staying there again. And of course, the rooms are cozy, clean and beds are comfortable.

The ambience of the hotel when we first enter was so welcoming and feels really elegant. Staff were so friendly and attentive. We then check in and was given higher floor with sea view as we had requested. The room was big enough for us. We honestly felt very comfortable from the bed to the washroom to the hang out spot close to the window where you can relax and look at nature. It was perfect.
During breakfast they catered to us really well-- Ella made us feel like we are VIP everytime. The food was good and there were a lot of choices from drinks, entree, bread, desserts etc. It was so sulit.
My partner and I , highly recommend this place. I for one will always come back to this hotel whenever we visit Mactan. Thank you so much..

We chose this hotel primarily because of the Spa, where the steam room and sauna were noted. We stopped by, confirmed at the reception the presence of a sauna and hammam, they said everything works on the third floor. Naturally, we immediately went to relax in the sauna, since the weather was bad and it was raining outside, but as it turned out, neither the sauna nor the steam room, neither in the men's nor in the women's department, WORKED! AT ALL! They said everything was broken! nothing works, of course, having paid a lot of money, we were terribly disappointed, for which they take money if the declared amenities are not met. In addition, the indicated 25 m does not correspond to reality, the room is 12-13 meters. The panoramic windows do not open and there is only general air conditioning. plus one thing - the hotel is new and the furniture too. We didn’t take breakfast because we read in the reviews that it was meager.
And again problems with your hotel!!! When we arrived, no one at the reception warned us or offered us bracelets for the beach, because it turned out that only with it you can get to the beach. Of course, we were turned around for these bracelets, because the confirmation (card from the hotel) did not suit the security guards. We again spent 20 minutes back to the hotel to get bracelets that we knew nothing about when we checked in!!! We will not recommend this hotel to anyone!
The problems with the Belmont Mactan hotel do not seem to stop, and all this for the decent money paid for it! Now the problem is on the beach owned by the hotel, although they had sun loungers, they did not have mattresses for the sun bed and we were told to wait, and this despite the fact that after 40 minutes the time for swimming stops - after 18 pm it is prohibited to swim here! There are no mattresses!!!
