The noisiest Hotel! from 7 am until night on the hotel territory people from outside sing karaoke, they do not even live in the hotel, but simply come inside to sing and disturb the hotel guests. From noise and music, the walls are shaking in the rooms, it is impossible to sleep day or night time. Families with children will never recommend this Hotel. I will not recommend this Hotel to anyone!

It seems to be an gost Hotel from the 80's. It looks like it was a good hotel but now everything is broken. The rooms are clean but smell bad from fungos or humidity. The food is bad. The beach is just a boat pier and poluted. The personel are very kind.

Me and my boyfriend both in our 30s stayed at this hotel for one night this week. When we arrived at the hotel, we checked in at the main desk. The reception staff were very pleasant and surprisingly we were able to check into our room early. We were located on 7th floor, as we arrived to our room we noticed it was very outdated, however it was clean. The room was very spacious containing two single beds, a microwave, sink, kettle and tv. The TV worked perfectly and picked up array of channels, however we noticed we couldn’t even content with the WiFi. The signal was extremely poor and it even struggled in the hotel lobby. The bathroom was a good size, a little dated but clean . We were provided with a survival kit containing shower cap, toothbrushes, small packets of shampoo and soap. Just be aware there was no hairdryer at this place. We also had breakfast where you have to make your way past the pool to a building with a red roof. The breakfast was buffet style providing fresh fruits, omelettes, rice, bread etc. We briefly saw the pool but never used this facility so unable to comment on it. Checkout time was 11am it was a very quick and easy process the hotel staff were very kind. The surrounding area is very busy although we didn’t really explore that much but we found a Thai Thai massage shop through google which was extremely cheap and I would recommend to use, it’s very close by less than 3 min walk.

This place is quite cheap. Don't expect to get more than you pay for. Rooms are a good size, but dated. Bathrooms OK, but could be a lot cleaner. Why they think the young kids in the pool want to be blasted with rave music with explicit lyrics at 11am on a Sunday, I have no idea.

I was here in March. I was going to move on after three days but enjoyed it so much stayed for two weeks. No beach as such but plenty of pool side loungers and many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. The Sunset Bar at the pool was espoecially good with Amor and all her the staff being very welcoming. I would certainly stay here again.,

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Very impressed. Clean and tidy hotel. Rooms are a generous size. Staff are efficient and friendly. Pools are generous sizes. Lapu Lapu City is right outside the entrance. Reason for not 5 * is the beach is small and artificial. Special mention must be made of Amor and her team at the poolside Sunset Bar and all the staff in the Breakfast room/ Restaurant. All Welcoming, Friendly and very efficient. A lot of Korean and Japanese guests stay here and we found them friendly and polite. Highly reccomended

We are a family 14 with a bunch of teenagers and 2 children and have taken up 3 rooms. All rooms are medium size and clean, with ample towels and toiletries. We ordered ala carte for dinner and didn't take much time to arrive (which was great for a bunch of hungry teens). Food was good and on the "a little above-average" price. The free breakfast was also good. Decent, good buffet spread which we all enjoyed. After breakfast, when we were inquiring at the reception what activities can we do around the hotel, the Manager arrived and he himself arranged for banana boat, jetski and parasailing. All in all, EGI is a decent family hotel on the mid budget range. We appreciate the nice staff especially the super helpful Manager.
