Yes, it’s a very bumpy access road to the hotel, but it is drivable with care. However, once you reach the hotel you feel you have arrived in the middle of a rubbish tip with garbage and litter piled everywhere- the hotel should be embarrassed to have this as the first view customers see. The hotel itself is directed towards divers staying there, which I understand and knew, but then why have all the Instagram based rooms with standalone baths looking out over the sea- the two don’t match. Is this a boutique venue or a rough and ready bed for the night for die hard divers? The wifi is very weak, the safe didn’t work and the hot water tap was turned off in the shower, which we didn’t realise until we asked for assistance. The food was the worst I tasted in the Philippines. The spicy Thai Lemon chicken was inedible with bones in the meal amongst the gristle, skin and undercarriage of what was supposedly chicken. We explained we could not eat it, but there was no apology or alternative course of action offered- we still had to pay for it. For breakfast we asked for fruit, but was still initially served a Filipino breakfast- egg and sausage, etc. After protesting, we did get some mango, but only mango. The rooms and restaurant are dirty- at breakfast, the food from the night before was still on the tables and we had to wipe this away ourselves. The showers are impossible to use, without having a user guide manual handy- you have to use a combination of a remote control and and adjusting the water pressure on the taps to get a temperature you can shower in. I paid 5,700 pesos to stay here for one night- knowing what I know now, I would not have paid 5 pesos. This place makes Faulty Towers look respectable.

If you’re looking for paradise look no further. An absolute hidden gem. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Staff are amazing and very thoughtful. The hotel has a pool outside and right on the beach perfect for snorkelling. They offer scuba beginner lessons at a very reasonable price. It is slightly out of the way however they offer a free service by boat to get you to the main land (1 minute boat trip) or you can travel by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and sad to leave. The bath in the suite is an absolute bonus.

This resort as great value for money with an unbeatable view. The pool was excellent - obviously set up for scuba training but also beautiful to swim in and look at the view. Absolute water frontage with free snorkelling right in the door step. Snorkelling was not amazing but diving was great- so many local amazing caves, blow holes, walls and reefs. Dive staff are excellent. Professional, knowledgeable, safe and very helpful. The cave Dave is amazing (even if I was a bit too chicken to venture far in). Lots of rubbish in the water with locals seeming bit bothered by the vast amount of plastics even as local fishing activity was seen at all times of the day. Bathroom was a bit of a pain with a blind needing to be lowered each time to avoid seeing a bit too much of your travel buddy. Otherwise the room and all areas were Clean, and well put together lots of cool little touches and amenities. Felt very safe and secure even with a few locals coming across to the nearby pier. Location is quite a way from the airport near the ferry port- an area that has not yet recovered from a recent series of typhoons. Did not feel comfortable leaving the resort to look around the immediate area. Definitely need to boom transport with the hotel - the drive in is very rough and bumpy- some cars will not be able to manage it-P700. Food was fantastic- tasty, spicy and great variety available. Really do need to eat onsite as hard to get around. Food takes a LONG time to arrive, be prepared to wait 90 min for any order or preorder a few hours ahead. Mango shakes, Thai Lemon Chicken and Garlic pork belly were delicious. Not much to do - so enforced relaxation which was exactly what we were looking for. A great way to just unwind and watch the world drift by.

This place was spectacular! Well worth the money! It was small, quite, welcoming and breathtaking. This place I would always visit. Highly recommend, but not for the faint at heart. Deep in a secluded area, hard to get to but they do provide transportation for a very low fee. If you're a water person this place is for you(like me), if you are a diver , this is your Mecca! Breakfast was great! Staff was welcoming and helpful. I think this maybe , one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. It is simple, from the parking lot not much to look at but once you're in the actual hotel area. I was speechless. I was there for my friends 60th and they not only decorated they even gave her a gift! This place is magical.

I had an absolutely relaxing and homely staff. Peaceful, relaxing, quiet. Enjoyed the interactions with the friendly and accommodating owners and crew members. Room is well designed; simple, functional, clean and stylish. Beachfront access with a stunning view. Enjoyed the ferry services to and from Marigondon Port. Returning for sure.
