We arrived here directly with car from south part of Cebu island. Direct road to resort is in so poor condition that our driver almost refused to take us there. When it is raining everything turns to mud. There is no breakfast in hotel only restaurant next to the place. Fortunately view is very, very nice and rooms are in rather good conditions but could be renovated. If you are not into diving or snorkeling it is not for you. Many Korean over there and most of diving centers refused us saying that it is only for Koreans.

Do not come in this hotel for the food, there is nothing fresh. For the hotel, if you are just here to sleep will be « ok » , but there is no water , so no shower and all that .. I would say if you don’t look around you and be focus only with a view it will be ok. If you look the picture you can have some souvenir on a side of your bed.

I was very disappointed with this accommodation. It’s at the end of a dark road next to the water. The view is quite nice as you’re next to the ocean. The rooms have seen their best days years ago and could need some care. The price does not match what you get. The only reason I could see to stay here is if you’re diving all day and want to stay just next to the dive shop but personally I’d rather have a bit of walk. There’s a decent bar next door where you can have breakfast and lots of dive shops around.

This resort has a nice location for diving, snorkeling and swimming. We choose the Seaview room because the convenience of easy access to the sea shore and restaurant. The room is nice, a value for the price you paid for the stay. It is really spacious and have a hot and cold shower, They have a free wifi, but the connection sucks, better to bring your own broadband. Best location on the wifi is the restaurant, The food served in the restaurant are delicious and in generous sizes at a very affordable price.

I like it only because of the location as it is near the dive shop I am having my Open Water Dive certification. Everything else except the location is not good at all. Prices are way too high in their restaurant (even the restaurants/stores outside), ripping off tourists. The room assigned to us (Room 22), where the only plus side is facing the sea and the morning sun, looks like it needs to be deep-cleaned. The shower looks like you killed someone inside. The flusher needs to to fixed. The bed mattress looks old and bed sheets need to be replaced. WiFi can only be accessed when you are standing by the door. Trash and general maintenance should be improved. There are lots of cigarette butts are everywhere, trash bins are seldomly emptied out. Lastly, reception opens from 8-5pm so if you have any concerns outside their opening time you are out of your luck.

This was a quite cheap place to stay with the most spectacular views! Our room (a large suite) had a big balcony with great live music (from the neighbour 5 star hotel) at nights. Our room had a working AC, hot shower, nice beds and fridge - so nothing to complain. There were a few cockroaches around but I guess that is unavoidable with this location. The hotel has a good restaurant with nice and helpful staff and great beer. It was awesome to have breakfast by the water. Also, the hotel staff was very nice although it would be better if the reception was open a bit later than 5 pm. The location is good and there are enough restaurants around. The place feels very authentic! I would recommend to rent a scooter to get around and to plan trips to Kawasan falls etc ahead since this place is quite far from anywhere but the airport. This didn't bother us because everything worked out well with good planning!

No hot water, very uncomfortable bed, very poor diving, the room and diving services are way overpriced, shower in complete disrepair with mold everywhere, either pay a little extra for something 10 times better or pay less for the same thing

We stayed here for the last 2 days of our vacation due to the convenience of its location to the airport. Our original plan was to either do a day trip to Bohol or stay at the resort and do some snorkeling/diving. Unfortunately, we had gotten into a minor accident a few days prior and were unable to do any activities, so we thought we would just relax at the resort. When we arrived to the front desk which is just a small shack, we waited around for the one person who knew how to check us in. Unfortunately, their credit card POS system was down due to a recent storm, as a "communication error" kept popping up when I tried to pay by credit card. Their website says that they accept Paypal, but they do not. She asked me to go to an ATM in town and pay the following day. I received my room key, and 5 minutes later the front desk shack was closed for the evening (which was around 5pm). The room was not at all what we expected. Our main requirements when booking the room were a mini-fridge as I had to store my medication in there, air conditioning, WIFI, and a TV as it was typhoon season and we couldn't physically do much due to our recent accident. Unfortunately, the WIFI only worked when I stood by the entrance door, as for the TV, AC, & fridge? There was only 1 outlet for all of them, so we had to choose which 2 we wanted to use, which meant that we had to forgo using the TV. The state of the bathroom was a little horrifying, and there were blood stains on the bed sheets. We figured we would walk back to the main stroll and spend the least amount of time possible in our room. To add to our disappointment, our door (which is just a thin sliding door) wouldn't lock. Walking towards the main stroll was even more terrifying. Locals started following us down the alleys for quite awhile, harassing us to give them money, to the point where we felt that we were in danger. We decided against going to an ATM to pay for the room as we didn't feel comfortable walking back. We quickly bought some water and snacks and returned to the room which seemed to be the lesser of the two evils. Feeling unsafe, we ended up sleeping with the lights on when we realized our door didn't lock. To add to the situation, I got bit by several bugs throughout the night in bed. Around 5am, we both were awakened by the local kids swimming and screaming in the wharf which was just outside our room. We quickly packed our bags and booked another hotel room as we didn't want to spend another minute in this resort. We waited until 8am for the front desk shack to open up. I explained to them our disappointment, and told them we were checking out. The booking conditions on the room explicitly say "If cancelled or modified later (than 3 days) or in case of no-show, 50% of the total price of the reservation will be charged". I offered to pay for the 1 night we stayed and even half of the second night for modifying the reservation; but they wouldn't accept and made us pay for 2 nights denying the booking conditions policy. Luckily their credit card POS system was working; however, at no point were they sympathetic to our disappointment in the room, or apologize for the uncleanliness, they were just straight up rude. We even asked them to call us a taxi, which they refused, so we had to walk back down to the main stroll with all our bags getting harassed once more by the locals to give them money. I have stayed at hostels which were nicer and had friendlier staff than this resort. Kon Tiki Marina Suites put such a sour ending to our trip, I would not even recommend it to my worst enemy!

I loved this place. Nice staff and a good place for snorkeling and diving. The rooms are avarage, so if you are looking for a more high class then check out EGI or J-Park. The place has a lot of diving possibilities with a lot of diving shops. It is also a resturant here that are okey, but maybe a little expensive.

We stated in the budget option, not the suites but we loved this place; it was very basic, but the room was cleaned everyday, the shower had steaming hot water and the air-con was fantastic. Beds and pillows were comfy, it was extremely close to the dive shop and they give you free amenities, and a new towel everyday. One thing is the Internet connection doesn't reach the room and is a little patchy; have to use it at reception, dive shop or restaurant. If you aren't going diving or planning on water activities it is a bit out of the way for anything else. Also there is no street lighting once you leave the resort, so bring a torch. My sisters and I didn't really feel safe leaving the resort at night because during the day we got lots of cat calls and were touched by men on the street. The restaurant is a probably a little over priced, but the food was good. Diving was really fantastic and we had a great time.
