very nice high standard (for this country) boutique hotel, just in the wrong neighborhood but near the airport. room are clean, well manned and spacious, bathroom could be better because of the small appliances. staff is kind and friendly, I advice using their airport shuttle, which make you save time. good deal overall.

Liked · Well-located, close to malls, businesses and restaurants. Just about 15-20 minutes to the airport by taxi, maximum. Room was huge and had a safe for valuables. Disliked · Where do I begin? I had to book this property last-minute, after my AirBnB cancelled on me also on the same day of arrival. The free shuttle they advertised came one hour late and only after I called at least 5 times once I arrived (and they picked-up the phone only twice). I arrived late to work remotely because of this. It did not get much better after that, as the restaurant food was WAY overpriced (much more expensive than in the USA or Europe, no less), and so were the snacks offered (if you get hungry, just walk across the street to Robinson's or SM and get something to eat there). The internet kept going down, at some point, 3 times within the same 2 hours (lost much more time of work because of this, and it was just a mess). I stayed here for 3 nights and NOT ONCE was the room cleaned or tidied up. The shower had low water pressure, and the bathroom also had a couple of very tiny cockroaches that came out at night. Will not be staying here again.

I had an enforced quarantine stay of 6 nights. Not the most pleasant experiences to be in solitary confinement for such a period! However, the room was large, comfortable and clean. The staff were exemplary both in the speed with which requests were handled and their very pleasant attitude. Any items of shopping required would be fetched to your room very promptly. The food was not wonderful but having asked for no rice and potatoes instead it improved a lot. I felt that 6 nights accommodation with 3 meals a day at a cost of under £150 was remarkable value for money. If ever I need accommodation close to the airport again, I would definitely book here.

The location is pretty good lots of restaurants around- across the street are the SM supermarket and BDO bank. The girls at the reception were so friendly. We have a late-night arrival due to misunderstanding with the rental car in Mactan Airport, and it held up for almost two hours. I choose this place because of the parking. They require 1000 pesos deposit during check-in, you get it back when checking out. It's a new hotel in Cebu Mactan, so the rooms were pretty good. We got a twin room as requested during the booking, a beautiful spacious room, neat and clean. In the room, there was a minibar, kettle, coffee/tea, free bottle of water, and free wifi. The wifi maybe not 100% reliable or because we're on the third floor, that's why we have such a lousy connection. The private parking is safe, as they have 24 hours security on the premises. They also have a spa, as a guest in Appleton Boutique, you'll get a discount. The bathroom was okay, spacious room with a lot of lights. But no shower curtain and the drainage can't cope with the water, so if taking a shower, is flooding. Take note we were staying in room number 310. I complain it already to the reception, and hopefully, it fixed. Buffet breakfast serves from 7-10 AM daily, but it looks like first come first served. Some trays are empty and not refilled, so the best way is to go down early. The daily housekeeping only available on request - also, they have laundry services at a pretty low price. We let our laundry done, hand-off in the morning, and we got it back in the evening—two kilograms for 250 pesos - a highly recommended place to stay in Cebu Mactan if you want so close to everything.

We check out after one night and they charge us with 500p for a stain that was on the towel, ( from hair color) mention that they will need to use some chemical products for washing. Very very interesting assuming that they are washing only with water and soap ( natural soap) in a very polluted city.

Been to this hotel for a layover in between travels. Its a nice little hotel close to the airport, great value for money. Had an issue with hot water which we didnt appreciate as we were tired after flying and needed to shower. Maintenance couldn't resolve, front desk changed room immediately, issues. Picked us up free shuttle service from airport. Following day, i complained about the water issue, manager Giovanni was very polite and courteuos, apologised and offered free taxi to our next destination which was 35/40 min away. Very professional and service oriented. Bathrooms bit too small but clean. Beds not very comfortable as small and mattress not the ones usually found in hotels. But for a short stay, its perfect. Room attendant very attentive, supplied water and extra towels immediately. Highly recommended for short stays. Well done Giovanni.

We enjoyed our stay at Appleton. Rooms are cozy and neat. The bathrooms are clean too. They have free buffet breakfast that's delicious. Also, they offer free transport from hotel to the airport. The hotel is near SM Hypermart and Tamiya where you can shop til you drop. Keep it up! Will definitely book here again when I come back to Cebu.

In Appleton, their King bed is really a Queen size bed. They say it's a Korean king size = Queen size. For a European it's a regular small double bed. And it's foum, there are no springs in it. But you can sleep

We choose this hotel to stay after our resort stay as we read that its nearby to the airport. We booked for 3 nights. The location is great to restaurants and some malls as well. upon check in, we were informed directly that our room is not ready, which we understand as we came to the hotel around 12:00HRS. What i did not like was the receptionist declined you directly and not even building the rapport yet and giving that feeling of awkwardness. She then informed us to come back after a few hours for the room to be ready. The room is great except for the washroom, its missing a bidet, which is difficult and not expected in a hotel. The lady in the breakfast area was amazing. Overall we enjoyed our stay :)
