Being close to the airport was one positive. The staff were very helpful with taxis into town. During the night it was noisy, as the hostel is on the main road, and the pillows weren't great. The only bedding was an itchy blanket. It served its purpose, if you're looking for basic accom stay here. If you want anything more, try somewhere else.

1521 is a home away from home. It's located about 15 mins away from the airport and about 30 from Cebu City. Everyone here is very accommodating and humble. The beds are comfortable, working air conditioners, clean bathrooms and rooms spotless. The food was great as well. The owner and staff is very knowledgeable and help accommodate in any way possible. Great spot to stop over before you leave to your next destination. Close enough to visit the city. Definitely will come back!

It has been great staying with them for 1 full month.
Staff are very friendly, attentive and has helped us in many ways.
Great dormitory room. Very comfortable beds, strong AC, nicely hand painted walls and very near our workplace.

No frills hostel with a fun and colorful atmosphere. Rooms are clean and this alone will make me book this hostel again. They have a food corner / cafe by their lobby that serves basic breakfast food and some pastas and sandwiches. Found it more reasonable to look for a decent meal elsewhere. Took 30mins back to the airport due to traffic despite the relatively short distance from the airport.

The bed here is probably the most comfortable I've slept in for a hostel in the Philippines! Usually the beds in other hostels can be a bit too soft or thin, but the one here is neither too soft nor thin, so I'm making it an important point to note here because you can actually get a good night's rest.
Clean towels are provided, the rooms are very clean and the toilet is ensuite - which makes it really convenient! They also provide a powerpoint for charging your devices right next to your bed, and there is also a reading lamp at each bed - this is great if you get into your room a bit late and the other occupants are already sleeping.
Staff are friendly and really helpful. The food at the hostel is alright, a bit expensive. You can walk down to Mactan New Town to get some local food as well.
This hostel also offers free water re-fills if you already have a bottle - this is such a plus in my opinion!
Location is great if you need to catch a flight the next day, you can ask the hostel staff to book you a Grab or Uber to the airport. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the airport by car.
The hostel building is located right along the road, so if you plan to head to bed before 11pm, put on your ear plugs to block out the noise from the traffic outside (it can get quite loud).

A very comfortable place to stay. The staff, room and amenities were all perfect. No complaints at all. The hostel is at Lapu-Lapu City, near the airport; an hour ride away from Cebu City center. Don't hesitate to talk to the staff about anything. 👍👍

I stayed here for one night just recently. It’s nice and close to the airport if you’re looking for somewhere close to stay. The rooms are modern, super clean, secure and have great wifi. The staff (Orly you the man!) were helpful with the front desk being manned 24/7. I’m keeping it short but whether you’re looking for something for a longer stay or even just a short stay between flights then this is the place. Good price too. I’ll be back!

Near the airport, angasil port & hilton port.
Unique designs in the wall. Like the.constellations. accomodating staffs and personnels.
But
Drainage is slow, water coming out from the faucet is brown at first then clear after awhile. Airconditioning unit is in awkward position.

My favorite part for every hostel are not matter how small it is they maintain cleanliness and accommodate people with kindness. This place is my favorite because its simple but the staff are great. I have the most comfortable stay in bed also.

Staff was so accommodating and helpful. I chose the dormitory, but I was alone at that time which actually worked well for me since I brought work with me [so, I didn't disturb anyone and vice versa]. Speaking about work, their internet connection is really fast that I was able to do a video call inside the room. Bed was comfy, everything was just perfect for me. The only sad thing about my stay is that, I only stayed overnight ~ wish I stayed longer, but I didn't have the luxury of time.
