This complex must have had its heyday... Everything is splendid: swimming pools, gardens, rooms... But time has taken its toll... The staff is welcoming. Everything should be freshened up... Too bad... Bring mosquito cream...

The place needs a lot of work, restoration/maintenance. It still has its charms but from the looks of it, it hasn't been upgraded or at least maintained consistently. The water pressure in the shower was barely enough to get the shower running. The bathroom tiles need fixing so do the bathroom fixtures. It has seen its glory days. It's time for a revamp or an update. It is priced considerably lower than most hotels in the area. The sunrise view made up for all the other things. They charge corkage, which, for the life of me, I can never understand about hotels/resorts in the Philippines. I've never observed this in any of the hotels I've been to around the world.

This facility used to be a Japanese-run hotel specializing in diving, but is now run by foreigners.

This time I used it on a budget tour, and it cost 110,000 yen for 3 nights and 5 days.

Things not provided in the room: tissues, shampoo & conditioner, door chain

Things provided: kettle, safety box, toothbrush, instant coffee, TV (did not work)

*Only bath towels provided

*When checking in, you are told to wait an hour after booking, but there seem to be many vacancies.

The room facilities are also quite worn out.

If you want a comfortable environment, a wide variety of delicious food, and a great view, I recommend upgrading your room or staying at another hotel.

There are two pools, and it was nice to have a pier leading to the sea.

We've booked two night in their Spa villa for more then 200€ per night expecting to nicely relax on our last days of holidays. Unfortunately, that was far from reality!
In the evening we've discovered that there's no hot water which makes not only the whole experience of spa in the bath just non existing but also makes it quite difficult to take a basic shower, especially with 2 kids. Then TV wasn't working. After technician fixed it we've started having power cuts in our Villa. So again we had to walk to the reception to ask them to fix it. The rest of the evening we've just spend outside enjoying the company of mosquitoes and frogs ( yes, the villa that they gave us was the furthest away next to some swamps) in the dark. So basically we've spent the whole evening calling and walking up and down to the reception. Finally, around 10.30 pm I could put my kids to bed as electricity was back on.
The next day we were informed that there was a mistake and their villa's should not have been rented out as they have all those problems with water and power. So we were offered to move to another room which we've politely refused as we've anyway already taken a cold shower and had a boat trip planned and would have be back already towards the evening. But we've agreed to have some compensation for paying extra for something that we couldn't use ( spa bath) and the other inconveniences. We thought it was fair to ask at least the price difference between their Spa Villa and the other family room that we would have chosen if we didn't want to use spa facilities.
The manager told us that we should contact Hotels.com through whom we've booked our stay as they are facilitating all the payments and take the commission.
Unfortunately, Hotels.com was absolutely useless with their standard emails and not even being able to contact the property.
I've also tried to contact the hotel on my end, of course without any success!
First time I'm facing such an dishonest attitude from a hotel. All I can say - bunch of liars!!
Extra bonus was upset and hurting stomach from their food (or free water) at the dinner. Everybody from our family had it more or less. And it's definitely from their kitchen as guests are not allowed to bring any outside food or drinks.
Nothing close by the hotel (no bars, restaurants, shops etc) and quiet difficult to order a Grab.

We landed in this hotel by sheer chance mid March as the pan-demic was starting to impact and islands were closing, an impulse booking just for one night as somewhere to stay not too far from the airport as our itinerary was cancelled. On reflection we were so very lucky to have found it as it became our home for 3 weeks!
We cannot praise the hotel chain and the staff, special shout out to Rey(manager),Apple (restaurant) & Jay (bar) but to all the staff really who looked after us so well during our stay, we will always be grateful to you for keeping us safe, helping us when we needed it and in hindsight I am so glad we ended up staying with you, I hope you are still all keeping well.
So the hotel is not a 5* resort but there was a lot of renovation work being undertaken whilst we were there and the sea room villas that we were kindly moved to were lovely, we had everything we needed and they were very clean, just what we needed at the time.
The food was good and reasonably priced and I can still say that after eating from the same menu for 3 weeks solid :)
The pool bar and cocktails were fab and I am sure that had we visited at a different time we would have really enjoyed a few nights there.
The staff here outshone some of the staff that we encountered in some 5* resorts, they went above and beyond at a time that was also difficult for them, thank you from the bottom of our hearts and We wish you all every success in the future xx

This “resort” needs a lot of repairs and new management. The accommodations are very average and poorly maintained. The first night the shower scalded my hand and could not be cooled. Travel for 48 hours and no shower - that sucks! The trees were damaged in a typhoon over a year ago and have not been replaced. The beach is eroded and not inviting. The breakfast is a scoop of rice and scrambled eggs and I would rate it as poor. If you pay more than $75 (US) or 4000 PHP you are getting ripped off. Look for much nicer places that are maintained and managed properly.

I rented a car at the airport and went straight to the pacific cebu resort, a little traffic on the way, and the location of the resort is deep within the suba basbas area, standard security check at the gate and I parked my rented car at the front parking area of the lobby, then the guard on duty told me to park way up front near the function room. So I said ok and went to walking to the concierge, then I ask the concierge if I can park at the parking lot in front of the lobby and she said yes of course, then I ask why did you security guard told me I cannot park here, so she talk to the guard in bisaya and told him I can park there.

Anyways checking in was a breeze but I have to wait for an hour to prepare the room since I arrived early, so I had lunch first at the dinning area, ordered chicken bbq, food was great, kinda pricey. buffet lunch cost around 800 pesos, I checked out the food at the buffet and its not worth the 800 pesos in my opinion.

So i went to my room, standard room just for an overnight stay, its an old room that is being renovated, its clean, faucets are kinda rusty or old inside the bathroom but its clean.

So went to take a nap since my meeting at mandaue is at 6pm, you can hear people chatters and people singing i think or the music is too loud? and some carpentry noise upstairs, it's daytime hehe. but at night its different, its quiet relaxing.

Included breakfast is good standard stuff. one thing i noticed is the staffs are more friendly to the foreigers than the locals. especially from manila locals, they are not that friendly to manileneos. Been to cebu a lot of times and this is not only on resorts.

Anyways i would still recommend this resort, overall its good.

Swampy and eroded beach, pricy food and drinks, antiquated TV signal. Service is good, at least. Pools well-maintained. Room is so-so, could be better for what we paid. Wifi free and widely available throughout the resort.

Front desk hinted that we could order grab food before and after restaurant hours. They probably know how expensive food and drinks are here.

Take your money elsewhere, until the quality catches up with the price.

Avoid if you are looking for peace and quiet .I booked and paid for a 4 night stay on arrival i was shown to my " superior garden view room" As the photo shows this is alongside a tower block construction with work going on until late in the evening.
We did not even bother to unpack, when i went and complained to the reception i was told if you want a quieter room upgrade only sir another 2000php a night. We received a sea view at the front of the resort, the noise was still noticeable but could be lived with.
Requested more coat hanger ( we had 4 for 2 people ) not available
sir.
I could continue but suffice to say a disappointing stay.

After checking in when we were about to go to the beach, we could not leave the room because the main door could not be locked. We told them we were happy to leave the door unlocked as long as they gave us a key to lock the bedrooms but they did not have the keys to the bedroom either. Horrible.
