Our group had 3 rooms booked, the rate was good for what we got, the staff was very accommodating and help full even when our aircon unit was noisey, they replaced it with another. Our rooms were OK but could of done with a proper clean, the entrance was littered with cigarette butts and bits of rubbish. Some nicely painted murals inside and outside the hotel but all were dirty and covered in cobwebs. I noticed when leaving to go out or when arriving back some staff sitting outside entrance smoking, there appeared to be a lot of sitting around doing nothing. At one point when going out a rubbish bin outside the entrance had tipped over spilling it's contents over the ground, a poor effort by someone to clean it up ment we had to weave our way around it and the large cockroach. This hotel could be much improved simply with a good clean. Overall a bit of a disappointment

Well situated close to shops and restaurants. The hotel boasts an excellent elevator. The staff are friendly and the prices are low. It is better to book during any fiesta season as the hotel is very popular.

stayed here for couple of nights,1st night given fairly big room with sliding patio doors leading to fake balcony (couple of inches wide) 1295pesos,looked good value until the night time approached what they do not tell you at reception is the hotel is directly across from one of the biggest disco in cebu, music starts at 12pm till 5am,whole room shakes!! asked to be moved, only room available not facing the disco is tiny with no window, tiny bathroom with wc inside the shower enclosure (very strange) more quiet though but just do not like rooms without windows so moved hotel in the morning

I thought I found a bargain at a low price. Boy was I wrong .. it was a horrible experience. I will never stay there again. The location was great, but the hotel was quite below par. I suggest to anyone thinking of traveling to Cebu to stay away from Le Carmen.

Nice newer hotel builded in 2006, friendly staff and a very nice manager, I was really pleased beeing there.
I will stay there again next time Im in Cebu, it was a nice stay with a central but quiet location a little away from the mainroads.
Only thing i missed there was a option to pay with CreditCart, instead i had to walk 200 meter to an ATM to withdraw cash, that didnt make me feel safe when walking solely around in central Fuente with cash in my pocket.
Get a creditcard mashine, thank you.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Le Carmen for 7 nights from March 4th to March 11th for a friend's wedding. I really liked the location. It was within walking distance to great restaurants, grocery stores, and Robinson mall which has tons of cute stores and restaurants also. There are also tons of taxis right outside the hotel if you want to travel farther away. Our room was very clean, had hot water and was air conditioned. It was crazy hot outside!! So it was nice to come back to an air conditioned room. There's a little convenience store in the front of the hotel where I was able to buy water and snacks after a long day out and about. My husband superly liked the free wi-fi internet connection and he especially liked the room price because he's so frugal. I was scared because it only costs 25 dollars per night so I was thinking what the heck kind of place are we gonna stay in that's only 25 dollars a night? I mean I was thinking it would be yucky, but it wasn't at all. We stayed in a room with a King Sized Bed and it had a HUGE bathroom. I loved the decor. It had a picture of Marilyn Monroe in the room and was decorated in a modern style. The staff speaks very good English and were very friendly and helpful to me and my husband. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Cebu.

I stopped in 5 other hotel/hostels in this area, compared prices and locations. This one seemed to be the best choice. I read the other reviews and they are pretty well on line with what you get. Room was clean and bathroom was sanitary w/hot water. Staff was helpful with any questions given. I really liked the location.

New hotel. Very comfortable. Great location. Close to a major supermarket, shops, restaurants, money changer, etc, etc. Had a very convenient small shop/store in front of the hotel where one coule buy food, drinks, mobile phone load, etc, etc. Hotel staff were great. Very safe and secure with night security guard always on duty.

I've been there for 2 nights with a friend of mine, each on a different room. Rooms were ok even a bit expensive compare to their equipment breakfast not included, but you probably pay the location in cebu, very near mango square in up town. Depending on the room, it will be little bit or very noisy room, especially on week end when the bar just down the windows s open, and when night clubbers invade the area. But the very black point was that our both luggages has been "visited" in the room while we were barhopping at night time. Hopefully, all our important and expensive stuff were in our locked luggage, so no damages, but one of my lock was spoiled.

"I actually like the small room on the first floor, which is their least expensive room. It is fine for one person, but two people might feel claustrophobic."
