I like this place. I really do. My experience in staying in it has been excellent so far. The only thing that is not a plus for me is that time when I returned from a tour, the receptionist told me I have no reservation in that place - in fact, I reserved for 7 days. That time happened just now, my first night. I hope the rest of my stay here will be awesome. Now, it's just average. P.S. This only happened in the evening shift and I hope that this will not happen again for the rest of my stay.

I was travelling to Cebu this time on a budget for 15 days. My priority was to find a place (1) near the IT park, and (2) walking distance to restaurants, convenient stores, etc. And while searching through google and google maps, there I found ANRI Pension House. To set expectations, this is a pension house so it is unrealistic to expect the services that of a hotel. However, I can say that I was happy with the services they provided.
(+) Positives 1. The ANRI team was friendly, courteous and accommodating. The entrance door was always opened before me and I was assisted with my luggage during my arrival/departure time. 2. Room AC was great (more than enough to cool the room) and the room space was maximized. At around Php 600+ per night, it's enough. 3.I was able to book the last standard room (all other rooms were booked as well) so, I had no hot/cold shower. Surprisingly, the water was warm instead. Unless, it's left idling in the bucket, then it becomes too cold. 4. Cable was more than adequate - basic channels were to be found. 5. Yes, there is room service. If I was too tired to go down, I'd just ask for food to be ordered in. 6. The location was very convenient. It was a walking distance to food stalls, night market, restaurants, convenience stores,etc. within IT park. There was also a mall being constructed in the center of the IT park. Soon enough, it will be a walking distance to a mall also. It was also a 5-min walk to a laundry shop.
(-) Opportunities 1. There was construction going on in neighboring buildings so the street going to ANRI from Apas was muddy. 2. I was staying in the 4th floor and there was no elevator. It was a bit of a struggle going up most especially if I was carrying other stuff apart from my bag. 3. Wi-fi in the floor was inconsistent. I had to call the reception almost every day to request for a refresh. Sometimes, even a refresh wouldn't solve it. 4. The trash bin was a bit small and there was only 1 located in the bathroom. Suggest to add another trash bin within the room, slightly bigger in size, if possible. 5. Shower water pressure is weak. Ask for a bucket and dipper - it's available at no additional charge.
If you are a budget traveler or simply a person that is not overly fuzzy on accommodation, this is a great place to book while in the metro. =)

My family stayed here for 3 nights for the wake & burial of my uncle in Cebu. We chose the place since it is very close to IT Park (walking distance), JY Square Mall & to our relatives' house in Lahug. The staff was very quick in responding to my e-mail queries, hence reservation & check-in was a breeze. The price is very cheap & reasonable. The room was clean, and the airconditioning of the room was good. Cable TV was also available. The wifi was a bit spotty but this wasn't a problem since we were out most of the time. Parking was also available which was good considering the location & cheap price of the hotel. I only have to mention a few downsides during our stay :
1) if you are travelling in a big group, you'd have to book multiple rooms. The room we booked was quite small (this was already a deluxe room). Only an extra mattress was available since there were 3 of us.
2) there is an ongoing construction in the area, and the hotel is located on a secluded street which might be difficult to find especially at night.
3) the CR was clean but considerably small. There was also no shower curtain available. Only soap was provided.
4) The staff were nice but there were times when they seemed to act unprofessionally (such as receptionists applying make-up & combing their hair at the front desk & staff knocking very loudly on the door)
If you are travelling on a tight budget & need to be close to IT Park, I would definitely recommend this place. I just hope that management takes note of the improvements that could still be made.

We stayed here for 1 night only before heading to Movenpick for the last stop of our Cebu 2015 vacation. We figured we won't be needing a hotel because of that.
Staff - helpful, gave us a contact for van transfer going to Movenpick, gladly gave us directions going out to the city
Location - okay, near the business park, you have to walk to the corner though, around 1-3 minutes, to get access to public transportation
Room - got their standard room, really small bed, good for one only, ended up getting another mattress, bed is not too comfy but will do for an overnight stay and if you are on a budget, basic
AC - working perfectly
Bathroom - small too but okay, basic
No elevator, so if your room is located at the higher floors and you have big baggages, ask for help
Overall, for an overnight stay, it was decent.

It's newly open. Rooms are small but good value already with the price you pay. Hot & cold shower on some rooms too. But you wont really need a hot shower anyway. Great place to sleep for the night and leave your things during the day. So far I think its the cheapest that you can find in this location. So near IT park where there are a lot of dining options and there's also a 711 nearby. Safe location. We've stayed here on 2 occasions and we'll definitely come back when in Cebu unless there's another hotel that can offer lesser price in this area in Lahug/Apas.

This a fairly new pension house so it was clean and modern. Room was good sized I had 5 suitcases so I asked for a bottom floor room. There is no elevator. Staff was nice. Close to JY mall, and Ayala Mall or jeepney goes to all 3 and pass the Anri pension house. Walking distance to IT park. There is some construction for new buildings but the nights were quite. Wifi was ok.

The bed was good, clean and fresh. The tv was good, with cable. The system of anri itself was great, they have tgis automatic shut down of everything key.
The only not good about anri is their water supply, stairs,and the road leading to anri.

Stayed here together with our officemates because we will be going to Lahug the next day. Place is good since it's near IT Park but the street going to Anri is a bit scary (dark). Jeepneys also pass by the street before. Room is smaller compared to Robes (same owner). Space is not good for additional beds. But overall, it's a nice place to stay within a budget.

I've stayed here about three times the past year and it's been an 'okay' experience. Not mind-blowing. Just okay. Fit for its price.
It's my go-to pension house in Cebu especially if I'm on a budget.
My only problem with Anri is its location and probably a bit of the room's cleanliness.
When I visited, there was construction going on and the street going to the pension house itself was muddy and dark at night. The pension house itself is hard to find as it is located at a residential area near IT Park. Good thing I use Grab every time I stay there or I wouldn't be able to get there at all.
In terms of cleanliness, I noticed (yes, during the last three times I stayed here) that the floor is slippery as if there's oil in it. I do not know what they put on their floors but its dirty for me. But regardless, their comfort rooms are rather clean and their beds are too. But well, what can you expect? You're in a budget.
Also, they do not have elevators so staying at higher floors when you have a lot of baggage can be a hassle.
But regardless, I will be staying here again when I visit Cebu.
You should too.

Price is very affordable. Room is clean but small. They had shower heater for this price range which was very great. The downside of this hotel is their rude staff. They are not helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi is fair.
