We were sick and couldn’t continue our travel so we just hop to one of the closest resort to Cebu South Bus Terminal that we found online.

We stayed here for 2 nights to recover and it’s a nice little cozy resort. Room were small and so are the bathroom but it was good enough for us with 2 huge luggage.

Best thing we love about this place is actually the comforter! It made us want to just stay in bed all the time! Though we feel that the bed is a little too small to fit the 2 of us. Also their little movie selections helped us to pass our time in the room.

Downside here are the food actually. We had limited choices for food around the area but luckily we could order food delivery so that was nice.

The vegan cafe close by wasn’t the best of our liking. We find them not attentive and the food was not the best.

The staff at the resort however were quite friendly. One of them even offered some ginger tea for us to help the recovery.

Also if you have big luggage, you might want to request a lower floor as the stairs and luggage can be quite a challenge.

All in all,it was still a nice and decent stay for the price we paid for. Good for a short stay, not a long one unless you’re doing wellness courses with them. And also good for a stopover if you’re heading to Cebu South Bus Terminal.

I stayed at Wellnesland for one month. It was a wonderful time of reflection and healing. The rooms are clean and have the most comfortable duvet and pillow I have ever experienced, it was like sleeping on a cloud. There are a range of reasonably priced treatments available such as lymphatic drainage massage and accupunture. It is possible to book a consultation with Dr Romy Paredes to assess your lifestyle and get advice on how to adapt it to be more holistically healthy.

The vegan cafe has a wide range of plant based whole foods and are all delicious. My personal favourites are the curry and mongoo soup. I also love the range of fresh juices

There is so much love and healing in this place. It could be an opening experience to unlearn bad habits and empower you to take better care of your health. They are part of the Self Help Empowerment Movement (SHEM), helping people be their own doctors

All my love to the whole Wellnesland family

A good place to come for a massage if you are in Cebu city. Relaxing atmosphere, approachable staff, spotless, ginger renewal therapy 500 peso, 90 minutes, lymphatic drainage therapy with infrared sauna 450 peso 75 minutes. Not the cheapest in Cebu but worth it for the staff and atmosphere

The front desk handed the wrong key, which means, I almost entered the wrong room. It was stressful going down again all the way from 5th floor just to clarify my room assignment as the room given was already occupied. I could have been better if they have a telephone along the hallway, or a functional elevator. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was very healthy.

I stayed at Wellnessland Wholeness Centre and Medi-Spa in November. It has very comfortable beds and air-conditioned rooms with a television and range of informative dvds provided. The Medi-Spa provides a range of treatments such as accupunture and massage.

There is also a pure vegan cafe and health institute across the road. The food is healthy with high quality ingredients, with most being organic. The recipes are tasty and it is the most reasonably priced vegan cafe in the city. The staff are all wonderful and friendly.

The health food store also stocks plant-based hygiene products as well as packed vegan food and nutritional supplements and delicious homemade cakes 🎂.

Above the cafe there is a Plant Based Whole Food Raw Vegan Demo Kitchen where raw vegan classes/workshops are held.

There are weekly yoga classes and other events such as detox days and guest speakers.

It is a sanctuary for learning, wellness and wholeness. Dr Romy Paredes and his team are paving the way to empower people to choose looking after their health themselves in a holistic way.

I had a wonderful time here and will return

Love this place. Great vegan food at cheap prices, lots of choice and lots of vegan food and products too. The staff were helpful and friendly. Really easy to find and in a good location (for us, 5 mins from our hostel). Apparently they do yoga and meditation classes as well so would definitely return for this! 100% recommend. Should have a separate cafe page on tripadvisor as it doesn’t come up when searching for restaurants?

I first stayed in Wellnessland Wholeness Center on July. Days booked became week, then I finally decided to stay for a month. Since then, I always keep on coming back whenever I visit Cebu City.

Thankful to Dr. Romy and his friendly and approachable staff who made me very welcome in the place. When it comes to Hotel and place to stay overnight, I am really picky, trust me. I am very suki in Airbnb, but only this place made me stay for so long. Why? It's because the place alone is so cozy, good smelling pillows and bedsheets, unique beach theme inside and outside the room, which will really make the entire place so homey.

Wellnessland Wholeness Center is not only a place to stay overnight or so, It is also a place for some people who seeks healing. It is all in one integrated facility. They have cooking activities, yoga, accupuncture, massage, and they serve all vegan food, it can also be a retreat center. The owner himself, Dr. Romy, do reiki, which will aligned all your energy, and not to mention he is also very pleasing to talk to, a very humble person.

Also the place has walls that has a lot of inspirational sayings to cheer you up and lift up your spirit. With all of these, this place deserves 5 rating and good review. Highly recommended! 👍🙌

I had a great stay at the Health Institute and Wholeness Center! Everybody was so welcoming, open-minded and I really felt like being a part of a big family. I love the Wellnessland concept and the approach of a healthier lifestyle in the Philippines. You really learn more about yourself, your spirit and your health when you stay here. You get to know lovely staff members, go to workshops, do yoga and tai chi, meet locals and travellers at the restaurant and café and explore beautiful Cebu and its surroundings.

The vegan food is excellent and the variety is really good.
You can also lend a bike to explore the city and use the exercise room.

Great opportunities here! And the Philippines are more than beautiful and have so many great beaches, mountains and diversity to offer that staying for one time wasn't enough at all. I will definitely come back.

Thank you all for everything and see you soon!

Jana

Staying at Wellnessland offers so much more than the average guest house. It has a vegan/vegetarian cafe that is stoked with delicious treats like Buko pies, ube cakes, and chocolate vegan bars, They also sell vegan products from soy milk to toothpaste to cans of chickpeas! There's so many treats and good food and products to enjoy. Wellnessland also has a lovely spa that offers massages and acupuncture. Not to mention the comfy, cozy rooms that have big-ish TVs, comfy beds, and the nicest staff to help you with your every need. It's a lovely place to be! Why aren't you there?!

Came here to attend a Wellness seminar and experience their vegetarian food. A very nice and simple place to stay and their rooms have education CD's on wellness both in body and spirit. If you are a vegetarian, either raw or cooked, this is the place to be. Even non vegetarians will love it!
