If your itinerary in Cebu is tight having to spend your 12hours outside, staying in this hotel can be your best choice. The price is not that much but the comfort you will get is top notch especially when you book their suite. There’s free breakfast which is very simple but good enough to energize your day. Since we normally go back to hotel late night, we ate in their restaurant and the food was good. So if you are tired you can settle eating dinner in their restaurant. The beds, linens, pillows are so comfortable. Suites have bath tubs so you can enjoy also a relaxing bath. This hotel is also filled with many local and international guests.

Clean, basic hotel. Breakfast included, from 7am to 10am, with a lot of choices. Kudos to Jay-An at the front desk who patiently attended to all our inquiries and requests. Water dispenser provided for, just bring your own bottle to refill from the dispenser.

If there is one thing that I have experienced during my stay at this hotel, it is that this facility is comfortable. Even the people working here is easy to get comfortable with. I stayed here for a night for a quick meeting somewhere in Cebu. It is off the city centers so it was quiet--which I liked. But it is not too far that a grab drive will break your pocket. Would definitely recommend going back.

This hotel is in a quite scary street, far from almost everything there is to see in Cebu. The building looks modern, but inside is very basic and run down. The rooms have a desk, but nothing else. There are no reading lights, just overhead lighting. The window looks out onto a brick wall, so there is no natural light. No kettle, no tea/coffee and no Internet. If you want to work or go online, you have to use a computer in the lobby, which is not secure. It records your email address etc. The rooms are grubby and the linens were stained and dirty, as were the towels. I discovered dead insects in the sheets. The bathroom is again completely basic and the toilet seat was damaged and broken. The staff try to be friendly, but they aren't able to answer any questions about places to go or see. The breakfast is negligible and poorly served. Just two staff trying to handle all the guests. There are very few options and no substitutes allowed. You get ONE cup of instant coffee and no more. All in all, a bad experience. A dirty, run down hotel in a scary area.

During check-in, the front desk (lady wearing powder blue blouse) who was a little bit arrogant told me to have a seat while waiting for my turn. But to my surprise they were checking in the new arrival without any reservation at all. FYI, I always book with AGODA.

Room was pretty small yet clean. It has a window but cannot be open, a mini fridge full of drinks and beer, a comfortable bed and pillow (but not that much). Complimentary breakfast was not that bad, eatable.

Please don't stay at room 1101, it's creepy. You will wake up at exactly 3:00 AM because someone is laughing like a demon.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY.

Dear Traveler, Thank you for choosing our hotel and for taking the time to write a review. While I wish, you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it’s apparent in this case, we fell short. The safety of our guests is a priority and such service is an unavoidable necessity that should have been better explained. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, we would be happy to make your reservation personally and see to it that you enjoy the experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.

Pros:
- Room is quite small but very clean and tidy.
- Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly.
- Hotel is near Ayala and SM city. It will cost about 200 - 250 peso to go there by Grab car.
- Do not have many options for breakfast but the quality is good.

Cons:
- Do not have flip flop, comb and toothbrush in the room.
One more thing, I wonder if the air conditioner in the room can justify the temperature automatically or not because I chose 20 degree but then it rose to 25C automatically. It was quite scary.

I picked this hotel primarily because it was near my nephews' house. It turned out that this was one of the best places to stay in Cebu City. Although it was not on the main road, transportation was no problem because there was a always a taxi waiting.
The front office staff were to be commended because they were always friendly and easy to talk to. I only made an overnight reservation but they pleasantly accommodated my additional two nights extension.
The room which was given to me was very nice, clean, quiet and relaxing. It has natural light with a nice view of the city.
Another good thing with this hotel was the set breakfast included. There was variety to choose from. The staff at the restaurant were also very efficient in serving even during the rush hour when all the tables were occupied.

Cebu R hotel was a good surprise. We had booked a standard triple room but we saw there was a special valid during our stay of 30% off the suite for 3 nights or more. So we asked to see the king size bed suite and opted for this one.

The difference between the suite and our standard triple room - thanks to the 30% off - was only 500p per night - however breakfast was only included for two adults (versus 3 breakfasts for the triple).

Breakfast was good with a good choice and reasonably priced. Drinks were also reasonably priced and they only charged us her breakfast and not the juice she'd have instead of coffee or tea. We tried some local specialty breakfasts and like them.

Overall good hotel, clean, good enough location even though not always easy for the taxis to find as it was quite new, but visible from several places as very tall.

We got 2 rooms for 5 days & 4 nights w/ free breakfast, one deluxe double room where 2 of us stayed and the other 3 stayed in the deluxe triple room. The deluxe room was really spacious for a so-so price to be shared by 2 and same with the triple deluxe room for 3-4 persons. The breakfast was not that bad since you can choose from their breakfast set menu but I advise you guys to order it for 10-15 mins before you go to the dining area. The staff were really accommodating when we first arrived, even the guard really insisted to help in bringing our bags even if we just had backpacks, when we entered the main door, they welcome us with a really friendly aura together with their 'welcome' Iced tea. They recommended places to eat and routes to take in our itinerary. - It's also near Ayala, SM, IT Park and downtown. They also have a designated chill area in the rooftop together with a small room for the gym, I'd really recommend this hotel for business trips, wanderlovers & barkadas!

We spent one night in this hotel. We paid a room for 5 persons at p2,750. Breakfast is included by the way.
The room was clean. But the space was a bit limited. Just enough space so that a cabinet, a table, 2 queen beds and 1 single bed could fit in.
They have a gym on the topmost floor too.

Yes! as a matter of fact opposite the hotel is a decent carenderia with good barbecue. And lots of restaurants just a walking distance from the hotel. And u can ask for delivery also. the staffs are just accomodating. Most of our stay there, we ask delivery from jollibee, dimsum. But i suggest u try the hotel's resto, the food are delicious.

Walang ko cabalo, Kelvin. I don't know because I didn't go to Cebu R Hotel by plane. Best to call the hotel yourself and ask them. Or get a taxi at about 120 pesos from the airport to the hotel. But the hotel is near both Ayala Mall and the old SM Mall, and is near two very good breakfast restaurants, The Yolk and M&S Cafe a short walk up the street (Cebu R. Hotel meals are poor, incl. their complimentary breakfast). Enjoy your trip.

I'm from Europe, stayed at this hotel more than 1 year, the past 3 years. Hotel transport is usually 2-3 times more expensive than taxi, and many hotels airport pick up, dont show up. Not recommended. Cebu taxi at airport are safe. Don't worry. Just exit airport terminal and go to taxi line. White taxi are regular taxi, and cost normally 5 USD to city center hotels. Yellow Taxi cost 8-10 USD to city center hotels. Do NOT talk to any who offer you 'Taxi sir' outside terminal. Just follow fellow travellers, on the way to taxi line. Good security at Cebu Mactan airport, so no need to worry. I have written a few reviews about Cebu R Mabolo hotel. Value for money, good staff and excellent service. Regards Cebu expat.
