I am writing this on my final evening at Canberry. I am alone on a business trip. The standard room is small but it is more than I expected. The elevator requires your key card to access your room’s floor, room door and to provide power to your room. The room has no closet but there is a rack with clothes hangers. The bed is comfortable with a blanket to keep you warm and the small window type Carrier conditioner (0.6 or 0.75 hp) can get cold if the thermostat is turned all the way to coldest. Not putting the thermostat to coldest would have inadequate. The bathroom is also small. The door doesn’t open all the way and will hit the panel of the bathroom sink. I am sure that most everyone could fit in the doorway. The shower has the regular shower which you can detach from its holder or choose the rain shower head. The water seems to be sourced from deep well because it takes a while for soap to lather and double the usual amount of shampoo to lather. Housekeeping comes in daily to make up the room. The cable TV channels are adequate for news and entertainment. Charging your phones can be tricky if you don’t know or did not find the hidden sockets behind the bed. No swimming pools here in the hotel. The dining room is also small and can get easily full. The wi-fi is good but can get slow. I would have given this 5 stars had I not seen a small bug crawling around and then hide under the bed and a small flying bug which I caught and killed, both in the final evening. At any rate, this hotel is good for rest and sleep after a day’s work. Nothing much else. Overall, the hotel rate is quite reasonable and offers very good value for money. For their updated rates, check their Facebook page.

I have been here last April to have a staycation I was very happy, I checked in to a family room the room was big enough for our family and what we also like is just next to the hotel you could see a 7/11 so if your hungry you can just go out of the hotel and grab some food, also I was very amazed with the stuff they are very friendly and accommodating in my request. I would also like to thank Faith as well she treats my request very well. Thank you so much! i will surely come back and have my staycation. PS. Please provide parking space to your guest. All is well but parking space is very important on an establishment.

Ok place if you need to stay in this locality. Basic facilities. They should provide a hot water kettle if they can't give tea or coffee cachets. I had to ask for hot jug which they would give at a cost but did not charge me. Wifi in few rooms is bad hence we had to change rooms. Ok at price .

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The place is clean and have a very accommodating staff. Price is not that costly considering the place is accessible, just near a 24 hour convenience store and wet market. U can easily find jeepney also. Place is secure.

Location = accessible to local jeepney plying various routes. plus factor, a Gene pasalubong main store, 7-11 convenience store and a few minutes walk from wet & dry market. great view of the Cebu mountains. Food = good tapsilog breakfast at 130 pesos with instant coffee or iced tea (better if was a brew coffee). inhouse cafe serve breakfast, lunch & dinner. Special buffet treats on Friday night for 199 pesos (5 course, 2 desserts & unli iced tea) internet = speed is ok Safety deposit box at the front office, typical bank vault type wherein you got a copy of the key Parking is pretty limited. During my stay, only the frontage (3 vehicle) is available. Basement parking is close.

Our room is facing the main road so it was very noisy all the time. We requested to be transferred to another room but we were told that if we transferred we need to pay additional fee since no other standard room is available. We requested for another key card since the power is cut everytime one leaves the room to get something from the car. The key card is needed to access the elevator.

It was a last minute booking and the hotel immediately confirmed my reservation to be checked in at 2 AM. Receptionist and guard were accomodating. Room rates are within the budget. Wifi is ok. Hotel is a few meters away from Fuente Circle. Will recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a short stay and affordable room rates.

The hotel is situated in the barangay of Guadalupe in Cebu City just ahead of 7-11. Check in: was lightning fast. We were a last minute- late check in and were pleased that they were able accommodate us. Receptionist was friendly and warm, answered any questions we had. They ask for prepayment for the accommodation. Once payment was made, she quickly gave us our keycard and wifi info, and we were on the way to our room. Room: We were given a room on the second floor overlooking the street up front. Room was simple, it had a window type ac unit, hot and cold rainfall shower in the bathroom, a foldable table, and 2 beds (one was a full size the other single). The ac ran medium cold but was very loud while in operation. Room was directly across from the elevator but noises did not come from there, it came from outside and in the hallway. I'm not sure it was just our luck or what, but the night over was full of noises. Slamming doors in the hallway to arguments outside. I tossed and turned all night, and woke up super early without getting a full nights rest. However, the room provided the neccessary amenities such as the super hot shower and ac, for what I paid for it was still a value compared to other places in the area. Overall: They were running a promo and a room started at 880 pesos and up. We opted for the 1,000 pesos room, described above. I say, request a room away from the street, it may help with the noise. Just a heads up they do provide free parking, but the parking area is tiny. Free wifi in room and lobby. I'd stay here again just for the pricing alone.

This hotel is just a simple place to sleep after a day's shopping and touring. Room rates are reasonable. Only the very basic necessities were provided - shampoo, soap and a roll of tissue (no slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste so you better bring your own). Deluxe rooms are kinda small. The bathroom also small, leaving the floor mat not only soggy but literally dripping after each bath. No sockets near the beds that will allow you to continue use your phone while its charging. Bed cover doesn't look and smell fresh, curtains slightly smelled when I came close to the window to look outside. Phone/intercom inside the room needs good sanitizing to rid it of the ewww smell. The good side: Abundant supply of hot water. Housekeeping personnel is very friendly. The security guards are very polite and helpful. Accessible to all forms of transportation - taxi or jeep. For meals, the famous CNT Lecho house is just a few meters away from the hotel. For pasalubong, Gene Salvaro de Cebu is just beside the hotel building. Drinks or midnight snacks can be had at 7 Eleven which is only just a few steps away.
