This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. The front desk are not the friendliest and do not prioritise guests over what ever else is going on. The rooms are basic and dated. They need to address all the wear and tear in the bathroom.... rush all over the sower frame. The balcony off he bedroom is a nice idea, but with the aircon units taking over the space. The view is an parking lots of a deserted shopping mall The dinning is a joke, extremely limited with no option of requests. All hot beverages were instant powder and not even an option of toasted bread or pastries for people who can't eat rice and high fat/greasy food. If you want an over priced 3 star hotel pretenting to be a 4 star go for it.

Through this review, I would like to denounce the wrong perception of the people and of the masses, including myself all these times that Alicia Apartelle is just a dormitory/boarding house for the University of Cebu (UC) students only. It all started by having the same owner and founder, Cebu-based tycoon Augusto "Gus" Go and its location is just a few meters away from the U.C. Banilad Campus. For the very first time when I made a visit to Alicia Apartelle, I was in total awe. The said apartelle has a spacious, wide, modern, and a polished lobby with a mini fountain filled with Koi fishes for good fortunes and good luck. Although it's stylishly modern, it has an accent with the traditional Chinese paintings, statues and decors to give that good vibe to welcome both the local and foreign guests. I booked two (2) bedroom deluxe room on the lucky 8th floor overlooking the mountain view for me and my sister together with her three kids with an additional one bedroom deluxe room the following day on the 9th floor for my niece and her family together with my sister's daughter in law and grandson. Both rooms were stylishly designed, ultra modern and chic with shower and toilet in each room fully furnished with the living room, dinning room and kitchen complete with the kitchen appliances & equipments and dining utensils. You have everything you need which is a perfect staycation for us all. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and attentive. They immediately attend to our every concern and needs without waiting as they knocked at the door right away. You could feel that you're at home away from home, away from the bustle of the city, although you're right at the heart of it. Shout out to the helpful housekeeping and room attendants Gladys & Wilma, Mark from the Engineering, Sol from the Concierge and to the gentleman & good looking Life Guard Mario. We stated here as a stop over for two nights. It was good as it had a small outdoor pool for my kids. The only thing the restaurant served was breakfast no evening or lunch menu. There were restaurants across the Rd. This was so busy and dangerous to cross. The rooms are good with a fridge and cooking facilities. It was clean staff were friendly

I have been staying at the Alicia Apartelle on and off for I think over 4 years when it was newly opened. For an expat who is always on the road Alicia Apartelle provides those home comforts I need. I choose suits with washer and dryer as I like to live local. The staff always remembers me and I always feel I’m safe and well taken care of. Alicia is 5 min drive to Rustan’s a western super market where you can get anything you need. The mall is another 10min. They due have a penthouse suite for the same price as a big hotel which is amazing with floor to ceiling windows. This is well budgeting hotel you can’t go wrong. I thank Alicia staff for always being so friendly. My room is always in good clean shape. Thank you for your great service. Any expat should be lucky to visit Alicia! If you hire a car and driver it is a perfect blend! Again one of my fav well priced apartments with all the comforts of a hotel. See you all in 2 weeks for my next trip!…

Alicia Apartelle is located in Banilad, Cebu on a very busy road. They can call a taxi for you, but travelling around the area on foot is difficult as the roads are very busy and it is far away from major attractions such as Ayala. The rooms are quite nice and have a good view of either Banilad town centre or the hills/mountains behind. The beds are comfortable, rooms are air-conditioned and the bathrooms and showers are nice. There is a pool area which is also good with lounge chairs and tables around. They serve buffet breakfast when you stay with this hotel, but personally I would not bother (even though it is free). The selection and quality of the buffet is unfortunately quite meagre. Also, the intelligence and professionalism of the reception staff is questionable. We specifically asked the reception staff not to call us on the morning of our check-out as we would be having a late night beforehand. We also assured the staff that the following day we would be out of our rooms by the check-out time with no need for a phone call. This request was made the night before our check-out and the receptionist even wrote a note so the morning staff would not disturb us. Despite our best efforts in this regard, all three of the rooms in our company were phoned (and woken) the following morning three hours before our check-out time. I had the chance to stay here for a night.It was near a mall, which is really convenient. I think that the place is clean but the noise from other rooms may be too loud. However, food was great especially the buffet breakfast!

We spent 6 happy nights at the Alicia Apartments. Although it's a few km's from the Ayala there are good transport links. A taxi to & from Alicia and Ayala would cost 100 pesos esch way and there are also jepneys and buses which cost much less. It is situated in Banilad and is within easy walking distance of 2 shopping malls. The apartments offer very good value for money. You get much more space than for a standard hotel room. The facilities (gym, swimming pool etc) are also better than most hotels. We definitely enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend it to others.

What I like about this place is where comfort and convenience are one. You can cook inside their rooms and they also offer long stay. Near mall, schools, some tourist attactions, attractive landmarks, and transportation is easily accessible because of its strategic location at the heart of the city. They also offer buffet breakfast included in your stay. They have swimming pools and jacuzzi. Room rates are also affordable and cost-effective.

Along the road, accessible, with bidet, kitchenete, iron, blower, ref. The common seems average. And kind of hassle at the entrace gate but for security, it's safe. With pool and gym. Ideal for long stay.
