We booked two rooms. 1 have all amenities and the one we stayed don't. It's not even clean. There was even 1 slipper left under the bed. The buffet wasn't as fantastic as before. The hot chocolate was bad. But still would recommend it because the staff was great and the location is convenient just comparing my previous experience and expectation for this stay.
We have stayed in this hotel very often. We were never really happy, but considering the price the stay was acceptable. But in the last years the level came more and more down. Our stay in January was now definitive our last stay. Everything is down to an unacceptable level. From an unfriendly staff over terrible food to dirty and damaged equipment in the room. The management of that hotel is really sleeping; otherwise they would see what is going on-
Took us awhile to put a review as we travel back to our countries. We stayed for a night last Nov 9- It was just disappointing experience for us as they did not offer us an early check in- We booked 04 rooms and arrived around 10:00 am in the morning, we spoke to a lady in front desk and asked at least they could give us 1 room as we are all tired. But She refused without even checking and stating that the check in time is at 3 pm! We came back around 2pm to check again, but never she gave at least 1 of our 4 rooms! We understand hotel policies but being in a hospitality/Service Industry we are not expecting such bad service from Front desk who does not even smile- BDW we Checked in in the room with the hair on the bed- Might be first and last stay.
I traveled from UAE to Cebu for more than 17 hours, including my stop over to Singapore. We all know that long flights with connecting are not easy, waiting for long hours to be on board and a sleepless journey. My last visit in Philippines is 2019 as i am an expat to different countries and away to my family since 2009. Now going to this hotel the expectation overall rate is 2 out 10 why??? 1. I arrived in the hotel approached the reception, not even a warm welcome is done properly as, myself even greeted them first and tell them i am going to stay. Fast forward taken my deposit, i even told them i have a breakfast included to my stay and she only started sharing the time . Nothing shared about the hotel services, like if there is a gym, where is the restaurant or nearest mall or do i need a wake up call. 2. Going to the elevator i do not know how to use the key and only one of the guest told me how to use it and i have to go back twice to the ground floor, which is not been shared to my by the reception too. 3. Upon reaching the floor the hall way floor is dirty. 3. The hotel bed linen have black line marks and body fluid stains which is really disgusting(if i use the infrared light of gordon ramsey, i will definitely find more) end up, just sleeping in one corner of the bed. 4. The floor corners are very dusty and kind a mold already stuck for months. 5. Walls have damage paint and chipped wood plus there are tiny cockroaches that coming from behind of it. 6. The chair while i'm working rusty and if you go inside of the toilet, all water marks in the faucet and shower heads is clearly not being cleaned properly plus the bidet water is not strong and adjuster of water is rusty and gone. headboard (wall wood) is dusty. 7. The room is not sound proof, you will hear the people talking, laughing to the hallway and horns of vehicle from outside. 8. After shower, i went to the restaurant to have dinner and nobody even ask me if i am coming for the dinner which i ask for three times, if i can dine. 9. I requested for Iron & Ironing board i waited 30 min, nobody arrive and only after dinner i have to call back to follow up. 10. Late check out only until 2pm. I called the operator or reception and telling them if possible, i did not even finished my sentence and already said NO because the hotel is sold out, I even suggested if i could pay extra hours and said NO. I went online multiple rooms are available and i can even 5 to 6 rooms extra which is kind of a doubt that the hotel is full. I just need this late check-out because my brothers is going to pick me up in the hotel and i have no way to know on my way home, because i did not grow up in this city. The only good experience in the hotel is the food. The hotel location is very good, the design is okay and there is a lot of potential in future can be done but I will never return again after this experience.…
-Disgusting, unclean, linens not new, bathroom moldy, shower not functioning, cockroach in fridge, dirty corridors and lifts, breakfast limited food choices -Housekeeping and hotel staff needs PROPER TRAINING in cleanliness, hygiene and customer service. -great location, pictures and website deceiving.
Nothing fanciful, with limited amenities (no swimming pool, for example), but its location is really good (just right across SM City Cebu), the staff is friendly, and the rate is very affordable inclusive of free buffet breakfast. I had a pleasant three-night stay at this hotel. Room upkeep is done regularly and promptly too. With all these, I say it's not bad at all given its low price. I just wish that they would be less strict in accommodating those who check in before 2:00 PM.
the stay was overall nice but mainly consisted of good breakfast, clean bed, soap, running water. For some reason the shower wall was missing, which makes the bathroom to a mess. towels look a bit old already and chair had holes and stains, floor had scratches and stains. considering the price which is not among budget the room definitely needs some maintenance. on departure elevators suddenly were under maintenance but lucky there was a service elevator.
Bayfront Hotel Capitol Site is always comfy for me. It’s near to the the places where I need to go to. Malls are 10 minutes away, hospital is just a block walk, and the must see places in Cebu are not that far. Food and drinks are available and very affordable. The staff is very approachable and accommodating. Thank you Bayfront for making my weekend very stress free
Hotel is directly across SM City Cebu and the Bus Terminal where you can ride the Airport Bus. Easy access to public transportation 24/7. There’s a 7/11 near lobby area with ATM machines. Room is nice, accommodating staff especially the guard. Good selection of food on the buffet breakfast. The only negative during my stay is the hot shower was not working properly and the Wi-Fi is intermittent
A very pleasant stay. Have been here and two different occasions. It's easy to see why it's so popular with the wedding parties. A very nice hotel with spacious rooms. The location couldn't be better - across the street is SM City and all stores and restaurants. Thanks to the entire crew for making it a great place to come to - from the doormen to the front desk.
