1. BOOKING was a nightmare. I tried to avail of the Local Residents’ Rate promo of PHP 1,500.00 per night (requires minimum three straight nights to avail) but their webpage would not show this rate. I emailed them about it and it took about over 10 email exchanges before I could be assisted on my booking. Seems like the staff responding to my emails was not trained or did not comprehend the English language very well. The communication was just confusing. I would ask something and they would not address the question. This was THE most stressful and annoying booking I have ever experienced of all hotels I've booked before. 2. STAY was miserable. I quarantined in this hotel for 10 days. Being on quarantine, one would think that the staff would be more sensitive (and anticipative of) to our needs because we are not allowed to go out of our room. I expected the staff to somewhat show they care because we were in isolation. That wasn't my experience. I had to call every day (and make follow up calls two or three times) to get my two complimentary bottles of water. There is not even a system on what seems like very simple task. Why don't you have a personnel distribute water everyday to your guests? Why make them call?? Everyday??? When I call the hotel operator, they are sometimes almost rude and just respond "Ok, bye" and put the phone down without bothering to ask if there's anything else I need. One time my Grab food arrived at 6:50pm. I called the operator to inform them about my delivery and they told me their staff is on the way to bring my food. I got my food past 7:30pm. POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Uncoordinated, ill trained staff. My stay in your hotel was far from comfortable. I got stressed out every time I need to ask water to be brought up to my room, or wait for my food. Didn't know such terrible service exists in hotels. 3. ROOM. Bed was comfortable. Room lighting is a bit dark for me. TV didn't work. Internet was fine for the first few days then dwindled down to almost nonexistent. I had to use my data. Clothes hangers were broken. The safe was broken. 4. BATHROOM. Bidet was rusty. Floor drain in the shower was clogged. Tiny roaches in the bathroom. Bad layout in general. 5. TOWELS. I'd like to specially mention that the towels aren't white. They're a dull greyish color. Like it maybe were white before, but so old that they turned grey. They didn't smell fresh. I suggest if you make some changes in your hotel, start with the towels. Change them to white. Make them smell fresh, too. I wouldn't book here again. I wish I went for a slightly more pricey place to quarantine. At PHP1,500 per night, it is cheap. Like the hotel.

I stayed here only in 2 nights. It was a hassle free quick vacay because the hotel is located just infront of the bus terminal going to Mactan airport. Wifi connection is excellent and the staffs are nice too. Their breakfast are well prepared too. There are only things I would like to suggest for improvements, for the provided towes and room does not have cloth rag especially in the bathroo. We didnt asked for their assistance anymore about it cos we're not that too picky 😉 but its a worth sharing.

Overall experience is great! From the front Desk to the Operation Manager are all excellent in doing customer service.. KUDOS to the team for making my stay very comfortable. I just need to call out the attention of the resto management on their staff who received my call for room service.. she needs improvement in dealing with guest.. bit rude and unapproachable.. talking to her about my OR ( ordered food ) she just shut me off by saying.. " Di kami nag iisue nyan dito" - explained to her that yesterday i already had signed some OR.. instead of assisting .. she just told me." Tanunigin ko na lang sa front desk" - very disappointing! But it was a relief talking to the Operation Manager absorbing all issues and giving me assurance.. still will consider staying here in my future business trips.

I was so grateful that the hotel extended the lent staycation promo for me. I stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days. The room was great - so comfy and complete. I just bothered with the other guests' children who are roaming around and a bit noisy. I am hoping that the staff will properly orient the quests, especially with kids to avoid running, roaming, and making some noise in the hallways. For the hallways on the 12th floor, since I stayed in a corner-end room, I observed that the floor was not that well-cleaned. And as for the free breakfast, kulang. Good thing there's 7/11 with the hotel's vicinity, I was able to buy food. Overall, I had a comfy staycation there. Thank you.

Check in was fast, less than 5 minutes. You'll be provided a complimentary alcohol upon arrival. No queue at all. There are hand sanitizing stations every high touch point/area. Telephone operators are also friendly. Tess stands out with a very accommodating approach and tone of voice. Well done for the manager in charge in front office department. The staffs execute their job efficiently. Therefore, they were guided properly. In addition, breakfast selection is also great! There are food barriers and only the F&B staffs are allowed to distribute the food spread. Good idea👍. All in all, we felt comfortable staying at Bayfront despite of the pandemic. Thank you Bayfront team! ♥️ Room 609 / March 11-17, 21
