We stayed at this hotel for one night only in our transfer from cebu to bohol.
The size of the room is much larger than usual in the Philippines and the bathroom finally had a curtain, something rare for the country
There was free breakfast available and the location is convenient for the visit to the Magellan Cross and to the transfer to the ferry dock.
Highly recommended.

cheap, friendly accommodation in the hearth of the old town of cebu city, close to the historical landmarks, the port and couple of malls. clean and silent enough, it offer also breakfast. a valid base to stay for few days before hopping some other island around when you travel on a budget.

We only stayed a night at the Palazzo Pensionne. It was a good place for a night in Cebu city. The room was clean and had everything you needed. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. There is a free breakfast, which is a nice start into the day. The location is alright. It's a bit away from the hustle of the city so it's quiet at night but not too far to walk to where all the action is. I would recommend this place. It's good value for money.

If you want somewhere quiet with friendly staff at a good price, this is for you. The rooms are clean and the noise is not too bad for this area. It's only a 5 minute walk from some shops and a massage place and 10 minutes from the busy area.

I would not stay anywhere else if i come back.

Again I stayed at Palazzo Pensionne, situated at 49 Gen. Sepulveda Street, Cebu City.
Email.palazzo_pensionne@hotmail.com
They will respond very quickly with any info you want regarding room availability etc;
The pensionne is budget priced, so dont expect five star - it is Cheap-Clean-Safe & above all friendly. The complimentary breakfast is yummy & a good start to the day.
When coming from the airport, a tip. Do not get the taxi at the ARRIVALS exit - they will not negotiate & charge 390pesos for a trip that cost me from Palazzo to Airport, 250 pesos, including a 50 peso tip, in RUSH HOUR !!!!!! Take the time to cross the road , go up some stairs to the DEPARTURE area, where taxis are dropping people off, then are EMPTY & looking for a fare back to the city - they will put the meter on & you will save approx. 200 pesos.
Takes approx. 35 minutes from Airport to Palazzo.
Hope this helps you have a great trip to Cebu & the Philippines.

Having travelled to and from the Philippines many times over the last 3 years my wife and I always stop over at the Palazzo. We are always greeted like old freinds and always have a clean comfortable room.
A little basic but completely adequate. Always enjoyable and has become a part of our holiday that we look forward to. Very good value for the money!

If you're looking for a nice, clean, quiet and relaxed QUALITY place to spend a night, DONT STAY HERE.
When I read reviews and saw the photos of this place, I expected to walk into a pretty decent place. Honestly, the photos and reviews looked pretty good!
I was shocked. I walked into the 'hotel' lobby area which is ridculously small and also hot as hell because there was no aircon in that room. I was not greeted by anyone or offered help with anything.
After checking in, I was shown to my room. On the way to my room saw cockroaches everywhere, on the floor, up the stairs, on the walls and even on the ceiling. Was pretty disgusted to be honest.
My room smelt like smoke and also smelt very damp. I was highly disappointed in the overall stay here and would highly recommend you find ANOTHER PLACE!!!!
Oh and the beakfast - dont even order it. Its barely adible and I would suggest eating something else, food poisining is likely.

This was a simple hostel type place, very in-expensive with minimal amenities. I like this kind of place, not overwhelming or over priced for what it offers. I wanted a bed and somewhere to store my things, nothing more and nothing less. My big favorite about the place was that I got an internet connection free and could scout out the rest of my time and plans, unlike many overpriced places in the Philippines that try to gouge you and to over charge for a simple internet service. The near-by neighborhood could felt a little out of place, could easily get lost finding the place. Had a quaint cafe setting, which was really just make shift for a breakfast area, and the house provides a free breakfast for each nights stay. When I skipped the breakfast one morning the house owner was actually concerned for me and getting a good meal, was a nice feeling to see someone who cared.

I recently stayed at Palazzo Pensionne for two nights and found the overall experience very good. My room was away from the street so enjoyed a complete absence of barking dogs or early morning crowing of fowl and banging doors to disturb my slumber. As I am a light sleeper the black-out curtains were also appreciated.
I am a fussy eater and found the free breakfast acceptable. The staff were very helpful, the service good, and the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable. This hotel seems to be popular with foreigners also. The locality is quite central to the malls, reception staff will call a taxi/cab to the door with minimal waiting.
On my next visit to Cebu city I will check-in here again.

Palazzo Pensionne is a 250peso, 30 minute taxi drive from the airport - most taxi drivers SAY they know the Palazzo - but make sure they do - a map is available on Palazzos web site.
Accommodation is Clean, the area is Safe and the people who run Palazzo are friendly, efficient & helpful. What more could you want for an overnight stoppover. Breakfast served in the little restaurant was delicious - choice of American or Filipino or Continental breakfast - choose the Filipino breakfast - you wont regret it.
My stay overnight before travelling the followiing day to Boljoon and the Granada Beach Resort (read my review) was restful & pleasant, in fact I booked two nights accommodation for my relax before flying home to Australia.
Can thoroughly recommend this lovely little pensionne

Hello Sir, Our Check-In time is 2:00PM. It depends on our occupancy and availability of rooms a night before. If were fully booked a night before, we have to go to a normal Check-In. Car shuttle pick-up cost Php 600.00 from airport to hotel.
