The size of the room is much larger than usual in the Philippines and the bathroom finally had a curtain, something rare for the country
There was free breakfast available and the location is convenient for the visit to the Magellan Cross and to the transfer to the ferry dock.
Highly recommended.
I would not stay anywhere else if i come back.

The pensionne is budget priced, so dont expect five star - it is Cheap-Clean-Safe & above all friendly. The complimentary breakfast is yummy & a good start to the day.
When coming from the airport, a tip. Do not get the taxi at the ARRIVALS exit - they will not negotiate & charge 390pesos for a trip that cost me from Palazzo to Airport, 250 pesos, including a 50 peso tip, in RUSH HOUR !!!!!! Take the time to cross the road , go up some stairs to the DEPARTURE area, where taxis are dropping people off, then are EMPTY & looking for a fare back to the city - they will put the meter on & you will save approx. 200 pesos.
Takes approx. 35 minutes from Airport to Palazzo.
Hope this helps you have a great trip to Cebu & the Philippines.
A little basic but completely adequate. Always enjoyable and has become a part of our holiday that we look forward to. Very good value for the money!
When I read reviews and saw the photos of this place, I expected to walk into a pretty decent place. Honestly, the photos and reviews looked pretty good!
I was shocked. I walked into the 'hotel' lobby area which is ridculously small and also hot as hell because there was no aircon in that room. I was not greeted by anyone or offered help with anything.
After checking in, I was shown to my room. On the way to my room saw cockroaches everywhere, on the floor, up the stairs, on the walls and even on the ceiling. Was pretty disgusted to be honest.
My room smelt like smoke and also smelt very damp. I was highly disappointed in the overall stay here and would highly recommend you find ANOTHER PLACE!!!!
Oh and the beakfast - dont even order it. Its barely adible and I would suggest eating something else, food poisining is likely.
I am a fussy eater and found the free breakfast acceptable. The staff were very helpful, the service good, and the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable. This hotel seems to be popular with foreigners also. The locality is quite central to the malls, reception staff will call a taxi/cab to the door with minimal waiting.
On my next visit to Cebu city I will check-in here again.

Accommodation is Clean, the area is Safe and the people who run Palazzo are friendly, efficient & helpful. What more could you want for an overnight stoppover. Breakfast served in the little restaurant was delicious - choice of American or Filipino or Continental breakfast - choose the Filipino breakfast - you wont regret it.
My stay overnight before travelling the followiing day to Boljoon and the Granada Beach Resort (read my review) was restful & pleasant, in fact I booked two nights accommodation for my relax before flying home to Australia.
Can thoroughly recommend this lovely little pensionne
