My room had enough moving space, strong AC, cable tv and phone. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows fluffy, the sheets thick. Bathroom was tiny but very clean. Water pressure from shower is strong, towels are thick and big enough for me (I'm a fairly tall person), and the free toiletries like shampoo and soap aren't bad. Free WiFi connectivity in my room was so fast I even got to watch Youtube vids without complaint.
Pros:
- Very tidy place at such a cheap price
- Quiet area even in daytime
- There is a well-stocked convenience store downstairs open until 9 pm iif you need anything (they even sell Jack Daniels!)
- Staff is polite and quickly responds to requests (just don't expect them to make small talk)
Cons:
- Could be a little hard to find. The nearest well-known landmark at Gen. Echavez Street is Allson's Inn.
- Location is far from Cebu's business and entertainment areas. For instance, Lahug, Robinson's Place Cebu, and IT park are all a 15-min jeepney ride away.
- Not much to see in the area. The nearest place outside to eat is Jollibee, Lighthouse Restaurant and some bar-and-grills along Gen. Maxilom Ave.
If I return to Cebu City I'd book here again.
location is OK, short ride to Ayala center, but nothing else there.
staff is extremely nice - unfortunately, it doesnt help the cleanliness.
Very cheap, very very clean. Nice staff.
Quality price ratio is among the highest I ever be. Really strongly suggested considering also the location is very good, between mango square and Ayala.
Among my favourite cheap stay in Cebu.
Now I have talked to the Front Desk about issues many times... it's Management that needs, training on how the hotel should look and work.
It is low cost but not the cheapest ( So it gets higher marks for looking Grand but that is not what it is.) We used this Hotel do to location, Jollibee walking distance for meals ( Café in Hotel too) Sari Sari Store at front door. So if this is a work type of Stay Beds are nice, Aircon works.. So a good night Sleep is all you need.
Housekeeping! White towels and sheets Should look White not Grey! Replace or learn how to wash whites!
1. Value for money. The Inn is located not far from IT Park and Sugbo Mercado + more food options, you won't have hard time finding something to eat.
2. Location. It is located where multicabs are passing by going to Ayala Mall/JY Square Mall for Sirao/Temple of Leah. Its also very accessible to taxi's and private vehicles.
3. Room was nice, although albeit small, it was very clean, and the toilet has hot/cold water + did not have any foul smell. Their linens were also very clean, AC cooled the room fast and was working properly. There was also a cable flatscreen TV.
CONS:
Couldn't think of any.
First off, price is very reasonable. 900PHP for 1night is pretty good for me since I didnt plan to stay in the room all day.
Second, service was good. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. I asked for housekeeping help and was promptly assisted.
The bad:
For a hotel that's 100% non-smoking, I was placed in a room where the previous tenants obviously smoked.
Overall the experience was so-so.
