This is a very nice little Boutique Hotel. It is centrally located and close to many little cafes. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. Taxis stop outside regularly.
A tip for English Speakers. The name is pronounced “ Chai”

We stayed here for a week for city and province tours in Cebu and we find this hotel very good for travelers, rooms are cozy and roomy in feel. Bathrooms have hot showers very useful especially when weather is cold. Rooms also offer cable tv and wifi, but one thing is lacking the hotel doesn't offer breakfast yet but I understand because it's still newly open. The lobby and staffs are friendly and accommodating to everybody. Location is excellent, very convenient it is near restaurants, malls, convenience stores and everything for your needs. New, clean and modern hotel with chinese ambience. If you are looking for an affordable hotel near the uptown city, this hotel is best for you. Value for money and a relaxing stay.

The staff were nice and at most times the person manning the door would open it for you if they aren't too occupied chit chatting with another person. There's only one small elevator. The rooms are quite lovely although can be too crowded for three. The bathrooms are cramped. There's no comforter available. Breakfast is also mostly not included but there's a whole bunch of restaurants close by. As for the overall value, it was a bit much for what they had to offer. We will not go back to this hotel and will not recommend it to friends.

My colleagues and I stayed here for 2 nights for a work trip. The staff were pleasant and nice and more than happy to serve. The space is nice and huge, with a minibar and a kitchen. It had huge windows which was really good, and the location is fantastic. It even had several good restaurants at the ground level. Wifi is also nice and fast.

The bed and pillows were nice, but the blanket is really thin and uncomfortable. They provided toiletries and towels which is good, but the towels are a little stained.

Overall I wouldn’t mind staying here again if I go to Cebu.

Well i could say but i couldnt blame that this is like a lodge hotel only. Well its good for a reason for you to stay. The hotel is useful for you to stay as for in only, it has a better rate than booking directly to them. If you found in online that the rate is too low. Then take it.. but if its more, dont bother booking at all. For a reason 1 our toilet stinks as soon as i arrived, ive ask to refresh the toilet what they did they just sprayed a freshener which it didnt really helped at all. Second internet in the room was way too bad. Yes there was a signal but we couldnt connect at all. Ive ask reception what can you do for this? She said sorry sir. We cannot do anything for now. We'll fix it tomorrow. Guess what it was never fixed when we came at night given a reason that its due to a maximum number of people inhouse i guess thats not a good answer and a gesture. Upon check out, ive asked for an assistance to print out my boarding pass, what the manager said sorry not allowed due to personal detail. Is that a reason? I dont think so thats the reason. You may ask the guest if the guest allows then you may. Theres no other details in my boarding pass than my name and flight number and seat. Due to privacy purposes? The reason we have stay in your hotel because we trust you on everything. Privacy is a secret transaction of you and your customer. It is up to the staff on how they manage the privacy of the guest without any conflict. Guest what the manager act rude as well when i ask a favor of that. So this are the reason why you dont go for check in if they sell the room on a high amount. But we never know what kind of a service does the other hotels have. Its your choice for me, not anymore. Id rather stay on a hotel that doesnt have internet than a room that includes internet and it doesnt work and they cant fix it. Thank you for your accommodation once again

This hotel has clean rooms, a bit small for two beds. But I like that it has a balcony where you can smoke. The shower and comfort room is clean as well. The downside is, I don't like their towels, and it was delivered to our room around 12MN because they said they ran out of bath towels! Isn't that supposed to be ready on all rooms before you check in? Good thing I booked online through Agoda so I got a lower rates, and I guess it's a value for money. But if you're going to pay for their published rate, it's a bit of a ripped off.

Stayed with cousins for 2 nights. We're satisfied with their service from check in to check out. Walkable distance to and from JY Square Mall where motorcycles, going to Sirao Flower Farm and other spots in the city, pick up tourists.

Our Grab drivers were also familiar with the hotel's location.

Has a partner coffee shop downstairs (Tazza) which give 15% discount to hotel guests. The food there is great and worth our money even without the discount. Makes up for the hotel's lack of its own restaurant/room service.

WiFi is stable and fast.

Service is definitely accommodating, professional and warm.

Will definitely book here when I go back to Cebu City.

We checked in as a group. They were accommodating, however, that time, I couldn't swipe my credit card because their machine didn't work well. The room has a standard dimension, not too narrow, not too spacious, just enough to move across the room. But if you prefer to have a spacious room, I don't think you might like this. They don't have a food service but they have a partner cafe in the ground floor where you could eat. The room and the bathroom was clean, still not that spacious, shower can fit two people if you are petite. Location was great, restaurant in front of the hotel, and nearby restaurants as well, also a walking distance supermarket, just in case you need to buy some snacks or go shop. Taxi is not a problem, the place is accessible. The bed was comfy and wifi is available in their room, don't forget to ask about the how to access it, you need to have a special password for each device you have. If you really want to have a great view, I don't think they have great views in the rooms' terrace. This place is great if you have a business meeting to attend to in Cebu, or you just want to relax - you really will have a good sleep even when it is day time. Overall experience was great but I have issues on spaces and food service, but service was great, friendly and attentive, room was clean and location was very accessible.

A Cebu-based Filipino attorney recommended the Tsai Hotel during our conversation at the Manila Airport before flying to Cebu. It's a business-style hotel without many frills, although all the basics are there. It's very affordable and has the added benefit of being on a street with several restaurants and within a 5 minute walk from a major mall (which I had occasion to visit to purchase an plug adapter for my computer). On the subject of the plug adapter, the front desk staff told me that the room didn't have a plug for my three prong American-style laptop. I bought the adapter, then discovered one compatible plug in the bathroom.

There were several students from Japan, Korean and other countries staying for a few weeks at the hotel, as a local English-language school recommended the hotel. It was fun to chat with them.

While there is no restaurant on site, there is a coffee shop next door that accepts vouchers from the hotel. There is also a good Italian restaurant (La Busa) a few steps away.

About the only downside to this hotel is that it is a 45 min. cab ride from the airport - due to the construction on streets near the airport.
