The place is nice. Clean an organized. Very homey. When bored, you can even ask to pick some mangoes at the backyard. 🤣 The ambiance reminds me of home and the staff are very warm and accommodating. Easy to be with, and would really listen to your request. So far so good. And I’ll definitely be back. This time with my family. ❤️

Staffs are very hospitable and kind. They maintain cleanliness of surroundings. But, I would suggest to improve their internet connection, because it was most of all time intermittent and low connection. Some of their rules for food were inconsistent and somehow did not meet my/our expectations.

Large, comfortable room, great air conditioning. EXCELLENT shower, very hot, great water pressure. The value you get for the price is amazing. The free breakfast was nothing special but at this price point I was not expecting anything. The TV only had local Filipino channels. Also very good location. I was able to walk to Gaisano country mall 5 minutes away each day. I ventured further out towards Banilad. I would definitely recommend.

When we arrived at the hotel, we are assign at room 602. When we enter the room it was smell smoked. I ask the staff why our room are smell cigarette smoke, he said he will spray the room. On breakfast it was 6:30am to be served, but it was disapointing that buffet breakfast served 6:45am, due to that late service, we were late in my client meeting. And the water and juice service was also the same, you have to request before they served. On the 2nd day they just put 2 bottled water, 1st day was not served. 2nd day also they clean the room, it was nice. but when i'am looking for the Bath Towel, there was no replenish. And i call the front desk for request ask and call her for 4 times before they send the replenish the bath almost 30mins. What a poor service.!!!

I have stayed here many times, and they got all the basic things I need. Comfortable bed with clean pillows and sheets, clean room (including the bathroom) with towels, hot and cold shower, cabinets, table and chair/s, TV, and if you are also lucky, a fridge. The only thing I wished that was better is the WiFi and internet connection, wherein some rooms in some floors don't have a reliable connection. But if you get lucky, the internet in the hotel is good enough. Overall, I always have a good stay in the hotel.

The downsides are a bit of smell of nicotine from my room and an ineffective heater in our shower. The upsides are comfy beds, great staff, delicious breakfast, safe location, great housekeeping and a wonderful view of sunrise from my room. I would recommend going back to this place again the next time I come to Cebu. It was a memorable stay at the Main Hotel.

While booking I had requested to get my room early, a big bed (as opposed to two singles, as was the promo), and a room in a no smoking floor. Before my arrival date I received an email from the hotel thru Agoda that my requests had been accepted. However, when I arrived, I was told by the front desk that check-in was at 2 even after I explained to them that I received their response in Agoda. They practically ignored my reasoning. When I got to my room eventually I was glad to see They got one request right (which proves that they got my message on Agoda contrary to what the people at the front desk said). Everything was fine until I opened the bathroom door only to be greeted by the smell of smoke. This smell would not go away the entire trip. It must be that the exhaust in the bathroom is connected to a bathroom where people smoke. Whatever it was, the smell was just so strong. Apart from this, my stay was not so bad. I had really noisy neighbors one night, but after complaining to the front desk about this, they handled the situation immediately. Overall, though, the front desk was quite helpful and pleasant throughout the rest of my stay. The room had a pleasant view. In terms of looks of the room, I’ll just put it this way: it didn’t look as nice as the rest of the hotel. Comfort level was average. The bedsheet of my bed was too small and kept coming off. The air conditioner seemed to be needing maintenance as it wasn’t cooling so well. For breakfast they had a four course buffet which wasn’t great at all. Overall, for me, the hotel is average at best. There are some improvements needed in terms of communication and of the room. Maybe a senior staff member could be present each time a guest arrives. And perhaps more/better looking furniture or some paintings on the wall to make the room look slightly more inviting. The rest of the hotel had done so well in terms of looks but seem to have skimped on the room (unless they purposely gave me the crappiest room because I booked under a promo). And please do something about the smell of cigarettes in the bathroom. Lung cancer is not a joke. The saving grace was the price. If it were slightly more expensive, I’d definitely feel less inclined the give it a grade of 3.

The place was really great with good food and very accommodating staff. I also like our room because it had a terrace and the view was really beautiful. The only thing that I want to point out is that the door of the terrace had no lock. I hope that the management will take action about it. It's in rm 601.
