Travelers' Choice
Unique, full of personality and charm, every stay will be a memorable discovery and every experience a delightful surprise. It radiates a definitely not average hospitality experience with its personalized service, quirky décor and compelling design. All 62 spacious and cozy rooms and suites at The Henry Hotel Cebu each feature unique décor with every wall mural and quirky detail distinctly created by Cebuano artists, Mark Luzon and Mark “Kidlat” Copino ranging from a mural of Marilyn Monroe, Moroccan windows, a lady posing on her vintage convertible, a brick room to pastel or brightly colored walls even to the Philippine’s culture icons, celebrated festivals and modes of transportation to name a few. The visual appeal merged with the hotel’s artsy fun and personal service makes it a place worth staying in and going back to. The Henry is definitely becoming a “must-stay” place not just in Cebu, but also in the entire Philippines.

The coop like design of the room was a disappointment. To add misery was the ambiance, which was non existent. The warehouse feel was somehow taken away by the warmth of front desk clerks and cleaning ladies who keep this place in immaculate state.

The hotel was nice, it has a vintage like feel interior. It's also quirky at the same time. It has pop culture themes especially in the time of the golden age of movies. The room we stayed was spacious, it's a very cozy hotel. 😊

The hotel I felt left me a little disappointed. Previously I stayed at the Henry Hotel in Manila and thought it was one of the best non five star hotels I have been too. Prehaps this lifted my standards for what to expect beacuse I felt this place was just not as good as the Henry Manila. What was nice about the Henry Cebu was the garden and pool which is very relaxing. The room was also a decent size 30 square meters the show room was a decent size. What was lacking I felt was the design of the room. While I realise each room is different I felt the standard of ours was not so great. There was no mural just striped walls. The floor was concrete with some kind of varnish it came across as warehouse feel. There was no real draw space for my socks and no wardrobe just a open clothes rail with three coat hangers. Lastly the space for the cups and kettle was to small. There was coffee perculater was balanced on a five inch shelf that fell off beacuse there was no where for the cleaner to put it. I really hope they didn't charge her for it. The location had some mid to high range price restaurants on the street but no real footpath on a busy road. We had a fantastic time at Henry Manila but this just wasn't the same for us.

We stayed in one of the larger rooms. It was HUGE. Huge living room area with couch and TV. Huge bed. Large table. Large comfortable bathroom and shower. It was basically the size of a large condo! It’s nice to get this level of space when traveling anywhere in Asia. It was very special. Nice pool with garden area. Excellent location. Really good ramen place across street. Super fancy area with shopping mall 5 min walk. Great Italian and French restaurants. One of the fanciest areas of Cebu City (Maria Louisa). I would recommend.

Upon entering the lobby, you can see the quirkiness and the attention to detail the hotel was given. The rooms were spacious which made having a toddler more comfortable as the little one needed more space to be a kid. What made it the most memorable though is the team - front desk and the guards were always attentive. I wish I had taken the gal’s name at the front. She had helped us from check in to check out. We had previously stayed at Seda Ayala Hotel for 3 nights. Due to the quarantine...we needed to unexpectedly extend our stay. We decided to check out since I was dissatisfied with the service there. What a refreshing contrast it was! The Henry Hotel delivered a 5 star service to their guest and to me, that always beats the fancy “luxury” decor. I have been to Cebu twice, another year we went to Plantation Bay. Henry Hotel became my favorite out of all of them in the island.
